Meet the Business Owner

Chris M.

Business Owner

Chris Minnick has helped hundreds of businesses design or redesign their websites, mobile websites, and mobile apps. As the founder of Minnick Web Services, he has over 17 years of experience working with clients ranging from sole proprietors to Fortune 500 enterprises.

He regularly teaches and consults on the mobile Web and has written books and articles on a wide range of Internet-​related topics since the mid-​1990s. His latest book, Beginning HTML5 and CSS3 for Dummies, teaches people who may have no prior Web development experience how to use the latest versions of the languages of the Web. His prior books include WebKit for Dummies, CIW eCommerce Designer Certification Bible, and New Riders’ XHTML.

In addition to his business, writing, and teaching, Chris is also passionate about winemaking, swimming, playing saxophone, and cooking.
