Specialties
I work best with professionals in their 20’s and 30’s who have paid a lot of attention to cultivating their intellects and creativity but who now want to focus on expanding their understanding of their inner lives and their relationships with others. My clientele is diverse and includes software engineers, musicians, attorneys, writers, artists, marketing reps, medical professionals, and those working in finance.
My area of expertise consists in helping with difficulties such as: finding and sustaining healthy intimacy, healing from a painful break-up or divorce, recovering from major loss, and having grown up in difficult circumstances.
Psychoanalytic thought informs my approach. This means I am more interested in finding and resolving the issues generating your problems than I am in providing a quick-fix solution. A successful course of psychoanalytic psychotherapy permanently changes your relationship to yourself and to how you relate to others.
