My son begged to go into this store after our visit at Peekadoodle. The toy shop is adorable plus they carry unique and hard to find toys. The lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful. My little one LOVES bruder trucks and they happened to have some in stock which was so exciting because the only other place I found them was at Marshall’s(which had a limited supply). We checked out the trucks and about 5 minutes of being in the store, my boy started carrying one of the huge trucks outside the store. It was hilarious. I knew I had to buy it because he loves these trucks and they last forever and are well built. Oh and I learned that bruder means«brother» in German according to the sales lady. Thanks again for your awesome service! I wish I had more time to check out their other toys because they had many different brands that you can’t find at the big name stores. We’ll definitely return when my son deserves another treat. Adorable toy store and great service! Street and a private parking lot are close by too. Cute place and definitely worth a visit.

Initially I thought this was a sweet place, but when looking at an item, I accidentally broke a mug that was placed on a low shelf. It bumped another, also tumbling to the ground. Yep, that’s two broken mugs at $ 12 each. The real shock came when I was asked to pay for them. How does a TOY store reconcile placing breakable items at eye level to a child and expect the customer to pay for what should be normal breakage and a cost of doing business. At best, I should have been asked to pay their cost. I paid for the cheesy mugs, left the store and bought what I wanted on Amazon.

We didn’t buy anything here, but we browsed their merchandise and they have a ton of cute items for little kids and for kids at heart. The guy manning the store even saw us playing around with a fart sound FX keychain and showed us a book they had on farts. Hahaha! If I had a little one to buy things for, I would definitely check this place out.

***This toy shop, located at the bottom floor of Ghirardelli Square, is a clean shop and there are a few decent things here, but the toy selection is limited; the cashier was nice and friendly*** There is parking at Ghirardelli Square(parking structure), but I believe it requires a fee; you can also find metered parking on the street.

Now I already love the store lola but now they’ve created a toy stop and it’s great! You can definitely find some cool gifts to give. Plus I love how you can find something fun and unique versus going to say Target or Toys R Us. I’ll be definitely coming back.
