Lisa K Everson, MD

Dr. Everson is amazing but her staff are terribly incompetent. I was scheduled for an appointment on ³⁄₂₈ and the staff called me on ²⁄₈ to cancel the appointment. She couldn’t leave a voicemail as my voicemail box wasn’t set up. Between ²⁄₈ and ³⁄₂₈ (today), the receptionist did not bother to contact me once. I took time off work for the appointment just to show up and be told that it’s been cancelled. It’s extremely rude and inconsiderate. Ms. Everson gets a 5 star from me but her receptionist gets 0 star. I’m so annoyed that I’m looking for a new gynaecologist, one where my appointment will be kept.

I love Dr. Everson. I was really impressed by her because she treats you like you have intelligence. She is also very caring and has a great bedside manor. The only improvement that I’d like to see-​though it is out of her control– is to have a better system for being able to navigate the phone tree. I got a little confused when I called to make an appointment since her telephone number answers with a lot of choices.
That said, she is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lisa Everson is the best OBGYN I’ve ever met! Visiting OBGYN is not fun. She’s not going to make it fun but she’ll make you comfortable. I’m very happy that I found an amazing doctor.

I thought after my previous Doc of many years changed jobs I’d be up the creek without a paddle. How lucky do I feel instead, that by some happy chance I got paired with another amazing physician.
She is thorough, very knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to talk to! I never once felt uncomfortable. Even the office staff were over-​the-​top accommodating and sweet.

After looking for an OBGYN for quite sometimes I trusted the reviews for Dr. Everson. Right on! You just need to get over the St Luke appearance such as filthy elevators, dirty hallways, run down hospital. I usually go to 2100 Webster. She was great!!! The best I ever had and I am 57 with a long history of problems including gynecological cancer. I always suffered during any exam, didn’t feel a thing. She was carin, attentive, listen and addressed all my concerns. Best ever, I definitely recommend her. She is my doc going forward until she retires.

Great doctor. Informed, curious, humane, smart.

Great bedside manner and personality. She made the entire experience very comfortable and enjoyable (i never thought I would use that term to describe my annual pap test).
We talked for a while about birth control options and she gave me a few suggestions without being pushy or judgmental. The procedure was quick and painless. it was over before i knew it.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Everson and will definitely go back to her again. I hated the St. Luke’s experience, but she made it worth it!

Appt was quick, the office staff was efficient, and Dr. Everson was very knowledgable and comfortable to be around. Gyno appt’s are always a little awkward, but this was the most painless experience I’ve had.

When I moved to San Francisco, I knew I needed to find a new gyno doc. But where to even start? Unilocal of course. Dr. Lisa Everson had great reviews, so I called up St. Luke’s and scheduled an appointment with her. I was able to schedule an appointment about 2.5 weeks from the day I called — not too shabby. And at my appointment, she did not disappoint. Although it was my first time meeting her, she made me feel very comfortable. She spoke very openly and honestly with me about my choices regarding birth control. She let me bounce ideas off of her and waffle back and forth between my options before finally making a decision. I told her that I equate my time with the doctor to my 15 minutes of fame — don’t forget to ask this! Don’t forget to mention that! I always find myself walking out the door thinking, «Rats, I forgot to ask about x, y, or z.» Not this time. Dr. Everson spent nearly 45 minutes with me in total, and not once did she make me feel rushed. I can’t say enough good things about her. As long as I’m living in San Francisco, I’ll continue to come see her at St. Luke’s.

Dr. Everson makes a, ahem, rather delicate & uncomfortable situation as human and comfortable as possible. She’s extremely down to earth and knowledgeable. She’s also got a great sense of humor. If you have to get your plumbing checked — and you do, i assure you — she’s a find.

Dr. Everson rocks!!! I have endometriosis, and Dr. Everson discussed my options of treatment, from diet and vitamins to prescription medication and surgery. In November 2009, I was diagnosed with an endometrioma on my left ovary and fallopian tube. Dr. Everson performed the hysteroscopic surgery to remove the cyst, ovary, and fallopian tube. The day after, she gave me a call to find out how I was doing and detailed the procedure to me. Not only is Dr. Everson an awesome Gynecologist, but she is also a bright, compassionate, down-​to-​earth woman with a great sense of humor.
