Out of all the hookah lounges I’ve been to in the Bay Area, this is my go-​to place. This is a very unique café in many ways. It has a very traditional vibe to it along with the unique hookahs that they provide. Every time I come here they take good care of me and make sure I like the flavor and UNLIMITED REFILLS. I will always continue to bring my friends here and continue to come here in the future. Shout out to KHALED for the amazing service. He is always in a welcoming and upbeat mood. Fridays and Saturdays are the times to be at for a club experience night with great music. Weekdays are also very chill and relaxing. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a traditional and fun experience.

Truly a unique place. Looking for a quiet mellow café where you can chill with your friends over hookah? This isn’t it. I mean it’s the #1 most ratchet hookah bar I’ve ever been to.
Don’t be alarmed by the $ 20 cover. This gets you free hookah, a drink and some fries, loud hip hop, lots of grinding and crop tops, underage kids pretending to be at the club Snapchatting and Instagramming like there’s no tomorrow so they can show their Biology classmates how lit af they were over the weekend and make Stacy jealous because she thinks she’s the sh*t just because she’s dating a college senior. Did I mention free hookah?
Really though, it was an unexpectedly fun time people watching with good quality hookah.

The first warning sign was a red rope security line (yes, at a hookah bar) with an actual bouncer accepting $ 20 covers per person, which covers the cost of hookah + 1 refill, as well as a free drink and order of fries. When you enter, you will immediately encounter blaring music (ex: Lil Jon, Nicki Minaj) and huge crowds of teenagers in stomach-​revealing half-​shirts and leggings snapchatting and dancing, including on each other and occasionally on tables.
The hookah itself is quite good — we had the citrus mint — and service was surprisingly attentive given the hoards of underage kids trying to turn up on a Saturday night. Overall, a hilarious and pricey experience.

PHUCKKKK YEAAAH! Khaled’s BEEN the go-​to Hookah man since those Cairo Nights days. Super hospitable guy that is constantly walking from table to table to make sure customers are enjoying themselves, meaning you don’t have to wait forever & a half for a coal change or to place your order. Not to mention he offers QUALITY hookah, not the bootleg, watered down kind that gives you a headache or makes you feel fuzzy when you stand up. This place also offers food which I haven’t been able to take advantage but will do so during future visits. The BEST part is the MUSIC. From Bay Area hip-​hop to reggaeton, the music always keeps the vibe alive. Quit missing out and pay this place a visit. HANDS DOWN my fav hookah spot.

I came in a group of 3 just for the hookah. First thing off the bat, we didn’t particularly like how we were required to get 2 hookahs at $ 20 each because they only allow 2 people per hookah. $ 40 for 3 people smoking hookah is pretty unnecessarily pricey.
The White Peach and Wild Berry Mint hookah we ordered were okay. I did appreciate that a server came by regularly to change the coals and check up on us, and the customer service was probably the best thing about this place
I think what annoyed me most though was the volume of the music. It was BLASTING Arabic music loud enough to the point where I could barely hear my friends sitting across the table from me. At one point they changed the music to rap, but again, still too loud. The only time they adjusted the volume level was when they got calls, at which point the entire venue went from extremely loud to almost silent, which I found to be more annoying.

This hookah bar is by my school. I go there often on weekdays since theres no entry fee. However, on the weekends, entry fee is $ 20 with unlimited hookah (still i think its a expensive for a small place like Laguna) and that would be my main complaint about the place. The owner Khaed is a nice and friendly man. It tends to get very crowded sometimes and the seatings will start to be a problem for everyone with little space for all of us to fit. The choice of music could be better, I always expect them to play Arabic songs such as Eissa, Haifa, Nancy, Miriam Fares, but they always tend to play rap and play songs youd like upon requests. Their food is okay, fairly large portion too. With all that said, the ambiance is nice and its nice to go there every once in a while.

As an Arab, I really enjoyed this place. I didn’t eat there but had some hookah and tea before dinner. The atmosphere is very authentic for an Arabic café. The hookah was of excellent quality, though I wish they had disposable hoses. Overall I would definitely come back.

I can’t believe I spent $ 20 to get into this place last night… (1÷9÷15).
We were a group of 8 people and the security outside was a disrespectful rude bouncer who was acting like he was working at some high class 21+ club. This guy needs a reality check, sorry.
The owner came out when he saw us there and as I pulled out my ID he said «I don’t care about IDs just have $ 20 Cash». LMFAO… This is not legal at all, a hookah lounge should only be allowing 18+ and it was clear to me that half of the people there are actually totally under 18.
Honestly the only reason I would give this place a star is because we got seating right away and the chair I sat on was so comfortable, another reason would be the great Arab tea and unlimited hookah.
As I was sitting down smoking my hookah there was a lot of ratchetness going on around me. Which isn’t bad at all but there were so many underaged kids twerking and giving lap dances.
As much as I love hookah and all I’m just going to stick to my regular CLEAN hookah lounge.

Music is way too loud. I couldn’t hear my friend who was sitting across from me. We stopped in for a cup of tea. Music was fine when we walked in but was turned up right when we received the tea.
No comment on the hookah.

Love this place! Great price for unlimited hookah. They also have great flavors to choose from. They have food and open late. Staff is super friendly too! Parking is relatively easy to find.

This is probably my favorite hookah lounge at all SF … Amazing service and atmosphere… If you wanna spend nice time with your friends this’ll be your place to hit

Honestly don’t waste your time at this shitty as place. Excuse my language but honestly this place sucks we had 5 people and the guy wanted to charge 100+ dollars for «unlimited hookah» it was an hour before they close honestly how many refills could we got? The guy was so so rude we asked is there any other offer he said that’s it u wanna pay it or leave. Seriously!!! I’ve been to better places then this he’s so rude and so unprofessional!!! Never coming here again thank god we did NOT spend our money here! Your places smelles and has been review as «poor food safety» Ewww! Don’t go here go somewhere else and spend you money!

All I really have to say for this Café is that its amazing. Hookah hit great, amazing service, what I’m mainly amazed about is the food. I always expect mediocre food from Hookah Café’s, but I must say the lamb and beef is amazing here. The man that helped us was very kind and made sure we were doing good. Would definitely visit again!

First off, I come here regularly at 4 pm to smoke hookah. The owner, Khaled (Ca-​leen) is a wonderful, personable, friendly host who cares about his customers. I even feel at odds calling myself a «customer» because here you are treated like family.
Come here to chill, smoke, eat, hang out, and take in the vibrant tourism from a seat in the lounge section overlooking Haight Street through the open windows. Have a tea and say hello to your neighbor because it is a friendly environment.
Even come here by yourself because there are TVs located throughout the business so you can be entertained with sports and entertainment.
The music in the background is usually a mix of Middle Eastern and house mixes.
Even though I come here during the weekdays and between 4−6pm you can come at any time. On Friday and Saturday nights, you will be treated to what feels like a club because of the energy of the USF undergrad campus packing in the house.
Overall, whether alone or with a group, or whether looking for a place between Golden Gate Park and the abundance of bars and restaurants throughout Haight, this great location and great business is here for your entertainment so come and check it out. There aren’t many businesses that treat their customers like family. And Khaled is a wonderful hostess. You really will be treated to a San Francisco treat. Enjoy.

the hookas are very nice, high quality. i love it that they give the soapy water to do your bubbles. Music varies all the time which is good, if you feel like dancing this is def the place to go although it does not have a dance floor but there is def space for you to show off the dance moves. i still need to try the food but overall great place. i loved it

I’d have to say my favorite hookah spot in the bay.
Décor keeps you entertained; beautiful swathe tic hookahs, wall art, lots of Egyptian and other middle eastern little treasures around.
Seating is comfortable and the service is nice and accommodating with some music (mainly 80−90s) hits on FLEEK. Loud enough to jam, yet quiet enough to conversation.
Chicken wrap was delicious and Arab/​Turkish coffee came on the biggest cup I’ve ever had this type of coffee in.
Lots of hookah flavors with long lasting hookah wet tobacco.

Crazy on the weekend and late night, chill during the late afternoon and early evening. The food is amazing and the boys treat me like gold. They know how to keep their customers coming back :)
They have WiFi, so perfect for study/​work/​play laptop sessions. You can hangout for hours, hookah in hand, with a wide array of music playing overhead.
Khaled is a god. Come here often enough and you’ll be surrounded by friends :)

This wasn’t my typical hookah bar where I’m from. It was way too overcrowded and the music was so loud. It felt more like a club than a hookah lounge. The rasta theme is pretty nice though, I can appreciate the art work here in SF.
When I arrived here, there was only two spots from what I could see that was open, the place is a bit small. We got seated and the servers were real nice. They brought us a menu quickly and took our order. We ordered a lemon mint and a regular mint hookah. After about 15 minutes a server came back and dropped off a bubble cup to blow smoke bubbles. He asked how we liked the hookahs, and we told him we didn’t even get ours yet. Confusion was that a couple next to us left and the tables are so close together they thought the hookah that was the other couples were ours. He apologized and got out hookahs out fairly quick. He even gave us 3 hot teas on the house as an apology. There are no tongs to flip the coal or move ‘em around, so I had to use the end of the spoon to do so. You can see the soot from the charcoal going into the bowl below. gross.
The music in this place was too loud and kept switching back and forth from club type music to Middle Eastern music. I couldn’t have a normal conversation with the people I was with without somewhat yelling. Also, this place doesn’t serve alcohol, however there were people in this place who was able to bring some in and drink inside. They kept coming in and out of the place which is really annoying when they pass you by otw in and out.
Last but not least, I was very disappointed that this place did not have tobacco shisha to smoke. They use pebbles instead. Plus, the price was ridiculously high for not being a traditional shisha hookah. $ 20 per hookah, and only 2 people max per hookah, or $ 15 per person w/​unlimited refills. I’ve been hookahing for a fair amount of time, and it doesn’t really give you that same hit, feel or taste. I checked in on Unilocal and it unlocked a free head change, however it wasn’t even good enough to go for a 2^nd round. I’m not from around here so I ‘Yelped’ this place. It should at least be noted this place isn’t a traditional tobacco hookah lounge. If it did, I would have opted to go to another location nearby. Only reason we stayed was because it was already late and wouldn’t have enough time at the other place to really enjoy.
