King of Panda

I am also shocked by the majority of reviews. My folks and I had a craving for some Chinese food and thankfully King of Panda was around. The food was amazing! The portion was great for the price. I’m not sure about everybody else but our food was great! The wonton soup was perfect1 Hit the spot.

Fantastic healthy Chinese food cooked on the spot! Really shocked at the bad reviews… the right amount of spice, top notch ingredients, not oily at all (if you care, much healthier option than many other street food park options), amazing rice, cant wait to try more dishes+ great value, one dish will easily feed 2. Pls give it a try its delicious!!!

How did they get a spot at the SoMa StrEat food Park? The food is similar to to the quality of Panda Express… but double the price.
Worst part – they serve piping hot food in thin, clear, plastic containers… def not PBA free.
Don’t waste your $ and skip!

I should thank King of Panda for helping me make a healthy eating decision. Stopped by the food court on the way home because I thought I was too hungry to go home and make a salad. Placed an order for fried rice and while I was waiting, looked at Unilocal.The reviews made me curious exactly what I was going to get but I had already paid and was willing to wait it out and see. Ten minutes later, still no signs of anyone cooking in the truck, the guy comes out and hands me my money back saying «Sorry for the wait. We’re in the middle of something.» In the middle of what, exactly, I don’t know. Aside from lunch service, of course. Went home and made a salad. Thanks, King of Panda! Never again.

Totally confused, inefficient and gives Soma StrEATfood Park a bad name. Ordering was quick enough though they were out of at least half the items. It took over a half hour to get shrimp and chicken fried rice. And it was 3:00pm not the height of rush hour. There were a lot of really angry customers standing around waiting. And waiting. And waiting. I got so mad I finally stood in front of the order window and told everyone who walked up that the wait was over 30 minutes and not to bother. They didn’t. The whole idea of street food is that it’s good and it’s FAST! This panda needs to become extinct asap.

Really? 15 min wait just to order. And then 20minutes to wait for the food? The concept of street food is lost here.

Price are 9.75 a plate I order BBQ pork with shrimp fried rice plate hade no flavor. It was there white rice and they just added oil

Not really worth the try. First of all pricey for chinese rice plate. Had the mongolian beef and it wasn’t worth the visit to SOMA strEAT. Doesn’t taste anything like any mongolian beef i’ve ever tried. It wasn’t even spicy at all.
Their sesame chicken is pre-​fried. They just add sauce on top of it. All of their fried items are pre-​fried.
