Dr. Laxer is medical director of California Pacific Medical Center’s Epilepsy Program. He has been involved in epilepsy research since the early 1970’s, playing an active role in the development of neuroimaging techniques for the evaluation of epilepsy, temporal lobe epilepsy treatment, and vagus nerve stimulation for seizure control. Voted one of the best epilepsy doctors in 2011, his primary areas of interest are epilepsy research and development, seeking new diagnostic and treatment options for uncontrollable seizures.
