Joe Casey and his crew at KC Custom Builders did an amazing job framing in headers to support my ceiling when we removed a wall in my home over the winter holidays. We had a short time frame to finish the job and they started right away and finished in just two days.
Mr. Casey’s crew was on time every day and worked quickly and cleanly – they even hauled trash from the rest of our project just for the cost of the dump fee.
What most impressed me was Mr. Casey’s professionalism – he has so much experience and it shows! His price was more than fair – half what the other contractors we met with quoted. More importantly, he immediately understood the drawings my architect provided and matched them in detail. He also saw exactly what was needed and didn’t try to sell us anything extra.
Mr. Casey came back to check on his crew’s work and made sure my husband and I were satisfied with the job.
Next time we need work on the house (maybe a larger back deck?) we are calling KC Custom Builders!

We hired KC Custom Builders to complete a basement remodel in our home in SF. First of all, I have to say that we are extremely pleased with Joe and the work he did for us. If I could give 10 stars I would. I screened many, many contractors before I decided to go with Joe, and let me tell you — there are a lot of folks out there who claim they know a lot, but they don’t. His bid was fair. Joe was ALWAYS on time — early even. Did what he said and said what he was gonna do. He was so reliable — something that in my experience is not always the case with contractors. We gave him the key to our home and trusted him to make decisions that were in our best interest. He is an old timer and takes pride in his work — evidenced by the fact that he would sometimes even show up on Sundays! He was meticulous in his work. He also seemed to know his way around the SF permitting department which made it easy on us as homeowners so we didn’t have to deal with that — and we never had any issue passing all the various required inspections — he does excellent work! Re-​modeling is usually a big pain especially when you are living in the home that is being remodeled… Joe was wonderful to work with and executed things exactly the way we asked him to. We grew quite fond of him and we are forever grateful for the way he transformed our dark basement into a wonderful family room that we and our kids can enjoy for years to come. Thank you Joe!
