History

Established in 1999.

A Native San Franciscan born and raised in the Noe Valley neighborhood, Jesse started at a local Real Estate firm in 1994 through an apprenticeship at James Lick Middle School. The apprenticeship was so successful that Jesse joined the company while he was still in middle school as the Computer Systems Administrator and continued to work at the firm throughout high school.

After observing countless real estate transactions, he longed to match people with homes. At age 17, Jesse attended San Francisco City College to boost his knowledge of real estate, property management, and marketing and earned his real estate license. In his first year, Jesse closed over $ 8 million in transactions, and has almost doubled his volume every year since.

I was referred to Jesse by a neighbor of mine that had been very happy with his services. As they lived in my building, I thought I’d meet him and see if he could help us sell our unit and find us another place to live.
Over the course of several weeks, Jesse patiently showed us many homes. We didn’t find the right match, but Jesse was so helpful in the process that we kept him in mind and I told myself that I definitely wanted to work with him in the future. I had worked with other highly rated real estate agents in San Francisco, but Jesse was HANDS DOWN the hardest working and savviest amongst them. We are not rich, never ended up selling or buying, and he still patiently provided his top-​notch expertise and hours of his time.
Several years later, we decided to re-​locate to LA. Even though Jesse is primarily a Bay Area agent, he did everything he could to assist us and find us the right expertise in Southern California.
When we found our dream home, Jesse pulled off the impossible. We had only a few weeks to relocate, sell our current unit, and purchase our new home within a very specific budget. Jesse pulled out all the stops, sold our current home for an excellent price (over 2 times what we had originally paid for it), and assisted us in the purchase of our new home in LA. There were many challenges to this deal and our time and budget were limited.
We are now living in our dream home, within our allotted budget, because of the monumental effort, patience, and skill of Jesse.

Absolutely amazing! We just purchased our first house in San Francisco and it goes with out saying… we could not have done it without him. He took the time to listen and understand our needs and wants, formulated a plan and continuously presented us with quality options. The SF market is super competitive and having Jesse on your side to walk you through the steps/​procedures is invaluable. Once we located our property… he was there starting the process… and we secured our house within hours on a Sunday evening!

Jesse is a miracle worker. I cannot say enough about this gentleman — he is all things a real estate agent should be: sharp, organized, personable, intuitive, motivated, professional, and resourceful.
Jesse was recommended to me by a very close friend who had worked with him on the purchase of his first home. In my case, I wasn’t looking to buy, I was looking to sell: a condo for a family member that had endured all manner of misfortune. I basically showed up on Jesse’s doorstep and said, «Listen, I want as little to do with this as possible; I’m busy up to my eyeballs with my own life and I just want this thing gone.»
Jesse kept me from making many rookie mistakes (including remodeling with contractor-​grade finishes; oh, the horror!), secured financing for me to improve the property with finishes that got me a good price; interfaced with the contractors, HOA, suppliers, finance side, you name it, I hardly had to do a damn thing, which is what I wanted. In the end, he sold the thing lightning fast and for a good price and I walked away relieved and divested.
On top of all that, the guy is solid — old school San Franciscan (Noe man), and so fun to be around that I now consider him a friend, hopefully for life. I will sing Jesse’s praises until the cows come home and will recommend no other real estate professional in San Francisco. Seriously, seriously competent. If you are selling or buying a TIC in this city, this is the guy on everyone’s list of great agents. I can personally attest to his ability to sell our unit with ridiculously difficult co-​owners. He’s connected to everyone in the business and got us great deals on staging, painting, and other work.

Jesse is amazing. I found him to be enthusiastic, knowledgable, and detail oriented.
Especially with the complicated world of TICs, he’s amazing. There are dozens of ways of handing this kind of real estate situation and his encyclopedic knowledge of all of them is incredibly helpful. There are pros and cons of different ways to buy, sell, and finance a TIC, and he knows them all. He’ll spell out the risks, detail the potential rewards, and honestly guide you towards a decision.

Jesse Fowler is a remarkable young man. I’ve never had the pleasure of having him represent me as a real estate agent, but I know from the experience I have had with him that anyone who places their trust in him will have a first class agent. Most people who sell real estate are sadly lacking in either one or both of the two traits that I feel are essential to representing other people’s property: 1) a love of real estate in general, and 2) a fondness for, and a desire to please other people. Jesse possesses both of these traits.
For the past three years, my partner and I have been struggling with the process of converting our two-​unit building in San Francisco to condominiums. Anyone who has been involved with the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection (DBI) knows what I’m talking about! We were just about ready to throw our arms up in despair of every completing the process when we had the incredibly good fortune of dropping into an open house Jesse was holding for one of his properties.
When, in the process of making open house small talk we mentioned our ordeal to him, Jesse told us about a condominium conversion he and his wife had recently successfully completed. He gave us his card and told us he’d be glad to offer any advice he could that might help us over some of the hurdles we had been experiencing. When we called him shortly after that, he offered to come by and evaluate the work we were doing before making any suggestions.
When he arrived several days later, he brought with him an associate who used to work in DBI and now provides consulting services to laymen, such as ourselves, in the permitting process and getting inspections done. Not only did we end up hiring this fellow (who was a tremendous help!), but Jesse also recommended an electrician and a contractor – both of whom we hired, and both of whom did exceptional work. As a result of all this, we recently received the coveted «Certificate of Final Completion and Occupancy» and now can see the «light at the end of the tunnel» in the conversion process.
It’s also a testament to Jesse’s fine character that, not only did all the services he recommended perform reasonable, reliable, and first class work, but all of them spoke highly of Jesse and obviously held him in their highest professional esteem. If he’s half as effective at representing real estate as he was in helping us – with nothing in it for him except a «contact» for future business – I’m positive you’ll be delighted if you choose to have him represent you in the buying and/​or selling of your property.

As I sit in my bed in the place that Jesse helped us buy, I consider myself quite lucky. My girlfriend (now fiancé-​soon the missus) and I were about as clueless as one could be at our ages about real estate. We were flakes who didn’t know what we wanted, where we wanted it, or when. Jesse helped guide us through the ABC’s of real estate with so much patience and always made us feel like we were his only clients.
Jesse always put our needs first and when it came time to write offers and wade through the mountains of paperwork, he made it all happen. While the other parties in the mix-​loan officer, title agents, other re agents-​seemed to lose their nerve and get testy or stressed, Jesse always had a calm about him that made us feel like we were in good hands, and I think we got a great deal in the condo, AND in Jesse.
We met Jesse outside of a listing and didn’t have any direct connection to him, but nearly every agent we ran into knew of, and spoke highly of him. In that stress-​filled world, I’d bet that is a rarity.
I don’t think you can go wrong working with a guy like Jesse.

When we started the process of buying our first home, we were kind of lost. We were lucky to find Jesse, who is one of those rare agents who is both highly knowledgeable and also able to translate real estate-​speak for us laypeople. He not only knows his stuff but helps his clients get educated on the market so they can make good decisions on their own.
Throughout the process, Jesse was patient, accommodating, and helpful. He never pressured or rushed us. Even after we closed on our place he stayed in touch, helping us find sub-​contractors for the work we needed to get done. Having heard horror stories about realtors who encourage clients to «max out» their resources or buy a house that isn’t a good deal, we never expected to have such a pleasant experience.
