Ingrid Lee Acupuncture

Ingrid is great! My friend went there for her knee treatment last summer and Ingrid was thorough and careful, she not only treated her with acupuncture but also prescribed chinese herbs to help with the healing process. I would recommend her to anyone who are interested in seeing an acupuncture specialist!

I came to Ingrid seeking some relief from a serious repetitive strain injury to my hands, arms and upper extremities, including tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome which resulted in a protracted workers compensation claim.
I was unable to type or even use the computer for more than 10 minutes without experiencing pain. And moderate everyday household chores, such as cooking and cleaning, often caused me discomfort.
Before seeing Ingrid, I had been slowly recovering from my injuries for a year and a half, but I was definitely on a plateau and not improving very much. But after several weeks of treatment with Ingrid, including acupuncture and various herb prescriptions, I was already feeling significantly better.
Ingrid has a very evident knowledge of neuromuscular medicine, and I instantly felt more confident in her hands than I have with about some half dozen professionals who had already treated my RSI, including doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists and a different acupuncturist.
Whereas the other professionals admitted that they had to guess, more or less, how my condition was affecting me, Ingrid confidently assessed what was happening with my muscles, tendons and nerves and identified my RSI as symptoms of a larger problem related to my digestion and diet.
Less than one month after treatment, I was able to type and use the computer 5 – 8 times longer without experiencing any pain or discomfort. Other signs of discomfort while cooking and cleaning have almost disappeared.
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to continuing treatments with Ingrid and seeing significant improvements in both my RSI and the underlying issues at the root of my tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Ingrid has a ton of experience with people suffering from chronic pain, and she’s a real acupuncture scholar/​practitioner, constantly learning more about her field. She also happens to have a sympathetic/​understanding ear and a reasonable/​just-​firm-​enough voice… both essential skills for a collaborative doctor-​patient relationship.
I plan to continue treatment with Ingrid not only for my recovering RSI issues but for general health concerns, as well.
I highly recommend anyone considering acupuncture to consult with Ingrid.

i was having a lot of trouble sleeping, had neck pains, etc, which had been going on for weeks. a friend of mine recommended ingrid, and it was one of my best decisions ever. after a few sessions, i could sleep, there was no pain, and in general my body no longer felt so out of whack.
i still go to her on a semi-​regular basis for maintenance. plus she’s given me stuff for all kind of other things, like my allergies, and she always seems to have a remedy for whatever. she’s awesome!

I went to Ingrid to lose weight & seek general wellness. She immediately put me on a noninflammatory diet. In just two short weeks, my clothes were looser:) She also prescribed herbs which are working really well. We are continuing healing treatments to work on long term health benefits and prevention.
I also appreciate that she has her PHD and is a second generation Acupuncture Doctor.
