We’re here to help parents balance​a​fast-​paced life​with time to enjoy slow food​; to help kids get a wide range of nutrients using simple ingredients; and to help families achieve big goals with small bites. History

Established in 2015.

When founder Annie Graves welcomed her baby girl in 2014, she wanted to share all the wonders of the world with her daughter, including the joys of food. Looking at the available options, Annie was dismayed. Jars and packets and pouches abounded, but that was it. She and her husband ate delicious, fresh, home-​cooked food – why would she expect her daughter to eat baby food that sat on a shelf?

And so began Annie’s quest to bring the various flavors, textures and joys of healthy eating to her daughter. As she developed adventurous recipes, word got out and friends started requesting her fresh foods for their children. Babies were talking! Baby by baby, her clientele grew, prompting Annie to launch Hello Spoon in 2015. Today, she shares her passion for great eating with families throughout the Bay Area.

Our son absolutely loves the food and the selection is fantastic. The variety and quality of the most nutritious, yet delicious ingredients is impressive. My wife and I both work full time and I know we would not be able to put the same wonderful (and healthy) choices on the table nightly. I’ve also tried most of the meals myself and they always leave me wanting more!

Whether you’re a working mom or stay at home — you need Hello Spoon in your life.
I really can’t think of a better way to expose your kids to such a variety of flavors, at such a young age — knowing how challenging it can be to find all the time we need in a day.
We started ordering when our son was 8 months and he went right for the toddler meals. Granted, he’s been a great eater from day one, but I don’t think his interest would have kept up if I hadn’t had the opportunity to put such delicious options in front of him. Neither my husband or I love to cook, yet we greatly value the time to sit and have dinner together, and it’s been such a relief to know that our son always has something healthy in the fridge. I especially love that most of the meals are creative selections that I wouldn’t normally make.
The snacks are also a huge bonus! I love having fresh choices on hand and not running to the pantry for another pouch or puffs.
The weekly deliveries are great and it’s wonderful that they pick up our glass jars for reuse and other materials like the delivery bags and ice packs.
Total gem — so thankful for Annie and the Hello Spoon team!

Hello Spoon is just amazing. Its such an easy way to expose your baby or toddler to delicious, organic, dynamic food. For me, it is difficult to whip up creative, healthy food as a busy working mom… so Hello Spoon saved us! Home delivery makes as easy as possible!

Just peek into my kitchen on any given evening and you’ll see the same scene: my two year old daughter squealing ‘risotto!’ or ‘couscous’ or ‘meatballs’ with pure delight as she devours her dinner.
Hello, Spoon is more than just a mother’s little helper. In addition to introducing my two babies to new and interesting flavors, Hello Spoon is packed full of healthy nutrition– kale, swiss chard, squash all goes down the hatch without even a hesitation.
Annie and her team have lovingly put together a menu that keeps my kids consistently interested in food and happy at mealtimes. The Hello Spoon website is easy to use, the service is always reliable, and the product is nothing but the best.
I just know that if Hello Spoon didn’t exist I’d be in deep, deep trouble. Hello, Spoon saves my sanity and makes my kiddos happy. And that’s all a mama could ask for.
