Godspeed Courier

My need for a courier service is rare so when I found Godspeed I thought, to myself, the name says it all. And it did. I called late morning from the east bay, Martinez, and they had my documents picked up and delivered to Walnut Creek, CA at 2:11pm. Yes, FedEx is less expensive. So? Godspeed Courier offers better service at a price that really is not that much more considering how FAST they got the job done on the same day as requested.

Had Godspeed pickup from the Ferry building a large order of beautiful Recchuiti chocolate Xmas presents to my designer clients, so time sensitive with the chocolate melting… They delivered 18 separate packages to 18 separate addresses and it all went off without a hitch. I use same day couriers on a daily basis, and this company is as good as it gets. They are efficient at letting you know when the item was picked up, dropped off, and who signed for it. They also send confirmation through email.
I recently requested a price quote for same day, and like the honest company they are they let me know I can get a better price using a more local based company because my pick up and drop off location was out of their area.

These guys are AWESOME!!! The level of service provided by Godspeed Courier is exceptional – from the person who answers the phone to the bike messengers.
I’ve used them several times to deliver my rent check to the property management company. They are always on time; and more often than not, the messenger would call to inform me that the check has been delivered (even though I didn’t specifically request for it).
Today, I called to ask for a special request by meeting me at a local Starbucks to pick up the package. It took all of 3 minutes to work out the details, and 10 mins later, the messenger arrived. Mind you, I did not ask for a rush delivery.
I wish every company functioned like them — professional, pleasant and quick! Love them and will use them exclusively for all my delivery needs. Keep up the great work!

I like how this company operates.
I call them and someone helpful picks up. They have all my information ready to roll and even remember certain important drop off and pick up details per my order. For someone who moves products around the city and is in a bind a lot of the time this company is a godsend. I like the old-​school aspect where it isn’t some stupid annoying app that doesn’t work.

Godspeed courier saved the day! I had gotten into a car accident where my car was immediately brought to a tow yard by CHP. Since the car was in a total loss my insurance company asked if I could stop by the tow yard to collect my personal belongings so they can have the car moved to a total loss collision center about 60 miles away. I was still in a bit of muscle pain from the crash and in no shape to be rummaging around my car collecting things. I called Godspeed to see if it might be something they could do. Sure enough, they agreed to the job for same day service! About 3 hours later, the courier was at my door with about 4 grocery bags worth of my stuff. Amazing service, they completely saved me from having to visit the tow yard with really tough neck and back pain. Not only did they do delivery, but someone actually went above and beyond to rummage through my car for my things. It was also a pretty reasonable price! I believe around $ 60? All in all, very happy with my experience!

I was referred to Godspeed by our VISA and Passport service. We were working on a very tight deadline to get a Chinese VISA back in time for an executive trip. Every person I spoke to (Mike, Tim, to name a couple) at Godspeed, were friendly and helpful. It was as though they actually wanted our business and to help. So, short and sweet review, but I would certainly recommend this service, particularly for south bay and peninsula courier service, since we are in RWC.

I’m an attorney and have used Godspeed several times to file and serve documents on my clients behalf. On a few occasions there were minor mistakes on their part but nothing major. This morning they acted in such a way that I will never use them again.
Earlier this week I entrusted Godspeed to file a motion at SF Superior Court and drop courtesy copies withe the applicable Department. They returned the file stamped copies to my office so I assumed there had been no issues.
This morning I walked into Court only to discover that Godspeed had failed to deliver a courtesy copy to the department in question, resulting in the Court issuing a tentative ruling in favor of my opponent. When I called Godspeed to ask what had happened they denied any wrongdoing and insisted it was the Court who was wrong. While the Court does make mistakes, I knew for a fact that they had not actually done their job based on the number of copies I realized I had in my possession.
Rather than take ownership or apologize they instead blamed me for not submitting a work order though they had not asked me to do so and never have in the past. They then refused to so much as refund the money I paid for a job they did not accomplish.
Screw ups happen. However, screwing up and then blaming the customer and having the nerve to refuse to refund the money is unacceptable.

Incredibly happy with Godspeed. I use them at least once a week for work (i use their standard service) and they are extremely efficient with reasonable prices. It takes me less than a minute on the phone to place an order with them, and they usually arrive at my office anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Compared to the last courier service i was using (won’t mention their name, but they were Godawful) they are exceptional.

Can I just say that I’m in my happy place right now. I mean really — the folks over at Godspeed really have their ish together.
I’m a legal secretary and when my boss hands me something, I had better get it done now and right and sometimes with the most impossible of deadlines. Its good to know that I have Godspeed in my corner, they always make me look like a star.
I’ve used Godspeed for local deliveries and deliveries as far out as San Rafael and they always deliver on time. Their staff responds to my phone calls immediately and emails too.
