BEST DENTIST EVER! The entire team is professional and caring but Dr. Duffala is exceptional. She takes the time to thoroughly explain x-​rays and course of treatments. She NEVER upsells. Her goal is to maintain as much of natural teeth as possible. I have recommended her to numerous friends that have walked away loving and trusting her. She is the standard that all dentists should be measured against. I trust her with my smile!

This is probably the best dental office in the city. Gail is extremely nice and friendly and that tone spreads throughout the office. It seems like things are much more reasonably priced than other dental offices.

I have been using Dr Duffala now for about eight years — she really is an exceptional dentist. She has a soft touch, is very knowledgeable, will never upsell you and will explain in detail about what she doing. And, unlike most modern dentists, she does all the work herself — you are not worked on by a hygienist and then passed on to a dentist who does a cursory glance. She is the one who does it all. Quick, efficient and painless. A gem.

She’s great for routine check ups – super friendly – and also has been very responsive to any problems that arise between appointments. You can actually get her on the phone!

Dr. Duffala is awesome. She was recommended to me a couple of years ago and I ended up going to another dentist near my work who turned out to be awful. Recently, I cracked my back tooth and needed to see someone asap. I asked my friend again for her info and they were able to see me within a week. She is so nice and really puts one at ease. Since my last experience was so awful I have been wary of dentists, but Dr. Duffala helped me put my faith back into the dental industry. On my second visit she filled the tooth with very little pain and cleaned my teeth. My husband commented how nice my teeth looked when I saw him that evening. I can’t say enough good things about her. I look forward to my next visit!

Gail is great. She does «talk» you through the cleaning in a very positive and distractive manner. Always amazed that she does the cleaning herself. Over the last 5 years, I have trusted her and never felt she was doing anything outside of my teeth’s best interest. This was a wonderful change from previous experiences with SF dentists who seemed to be only interested in selling you extra services. Thank you, Gail.

Gail has been our family dentist for 5 years. We love her. She and Dr. Watanabe are highly ethical and truly looking at the interest of your dental health. All the staffs are very attentive and accommodating.

I was born into the dental industry with a mother who is a dental hygeniest. I can say that Dr D is a very honest and true dentist. While her office lacks flair or the latest gadgets/​gizmos, she is very professional and will never ask for work that is not necessary. She treats the patient respectfully and thoroughly — and, yes, with a motherlike tenderness she reminds me of my own dental upbringing. I highly recommend… I have not dealt with any others in the office, so I can not speak to the employees (hygenists/​assistants).

Gail has been cleaning my teeth for over 10 years now. Even thought I see her twice a year, she always remembers even the tiniest details about me. She is the most attentive dentist on the planet. I send everyone I know to her and the people I refer to her always come back and thank me for sending them to the most gentle and efficient dentist they have ever met.

I really like Dr. Duffala. She is sweet and has a motherlike tenderness to her. I was happily surprised when she did the cleaning herself. Usually I have only been to places where there are 20 hygenists and I see the dentists for a quick minute but there she is very present and attentive.
