06÷08÷16PM. Bartender is unfortunately clueless when it comes to the differences between alcohols, and has a sour attitude that she tries to cover with sarcasm. I know late night crowds can be exhausting, and I’m usually super forgiving in these situations. Honestly, I would have appreciated any kind of effort at all. But we got nothing. The building itself has potential, and it’s in a cool location. However, that only goes so far. For the area, I’ll definitely pass.

Awesome spot! The bartender Ray was awesome, very friendly and was great to talk with. Good prices on drinks and free pool! Free! So I’m from Reno, Nv. And this felt like a very reno type bar. I came here early, no dj no loud club music and I loved it. If you’re wondering the piers and need a nice place to get away from the crouds and cool off with a beer come here. Definitely coming back next time I visit.

How are you going to make people pay $ 20 entrance when you had an event on Eventbrite stating entrance is free before 10:30pm. With a QR scan included. Its cool take my money. Just keep it lit!

$ 20 entrance fee just to get in?! On top having to pay for overpriced drinks? Music wasn’t bad, and after I had spent an arm and a leg at the bar I ended up having fun, until… It was time to leave and the giant douchebag bouncer walks up to me and my girlfriends at the bar paying our tab and says«time to leave fuck heads!» Who the hell talks to customers like that?! We weren’t being rowdy or stupid and there was no reason for them to talk to us like that! The only awesome employees were the three bartenders working that night.

On 5⁄21: @1230AM.(1hr and 15 mins before they close) $ 30 for 1 man. $ 20 for 1 woman to get in. Tooooo expensive. Not worth it. Definitely not worth it for whatever promotion team was throwing the event on this particular evening. Brushed it off. Girl at front Door: Rude snotty Asian bitch whom treated the«customers» with no respect. Offered that I pay $ 40 and should thank her for letting me in at that rate. Brushed her off, not worth bringing yourself down to her level. Bartenders: credit them because it was busy. Bottle Service Girls: Instagram«wannabe» Models trying to make a career. Other than the bottle coming out late, there was hardly any services provided. You have one job, might as well do it well. Brushed it off. Security: no expectations for them. Do what you do. Bus Boy: hardest worker there! DJ: Pressing Stop and Play isn’t my expectations of a DJ. Also, talking on the Mic constantly, is annoying because you ruin the music were trying to listen to. You are not a hype man, please shut up. Your music selection was RAP/little hip hop, but you unconsciously aimed your music selection to entertain all the dicks running around. You sucked and entire lineup that was there generally sucked. You can’t learn everything on YouTube. Crowd: ratchet crowd of all nations. If you can’t tolerate it, prolly not for you. If you want casual and somewhat a classier vibe, don’t go here.

I went there for an event and it was just as bad as all the Unilocalers said. Duct tape on the seats, dimly lite Ladies room, I could barely find the stall. But the best part was the owner hitting on me and 2 other women at the event. Listen, old man, you should be ashamed to admit you own a place that looks that bad and uses duct tape as a decorating tool. Also the event I paid for, did not include talking to you. I let the event coordinator know that I would never attend another event with them until they found a venue that doesn’t make the TL look good.

This is my second time at this place and both times it has been a nightmare. I had a table and still had to pay a $ 40 cover fee. In the middle of the partying they kicked out one of my friends because one of the employees(bottle service girl) who did not even serve our table lied and said that one of our friend who was her ex-boyfriend was bothering her. Our friend got kicked out and we all had to leave because they would not let him in. I am beyond disappointed at the poor management and customer service by this place. I will never go back again. Btw this place is not even that nice. The bathroom is a mess And the couches are cheap.

So, went here to celebrate a birthday. With the intent of spending a lot of money on bottle service. However, that was all halted when we realized the cut off time to arrive was @ 11:30PM. The person promoter/manager/whatever he does failed to let us know that very important piece of info. Nearly the ENTIRE staff looked like they were hella mad they had to be at work. The security is rude, the cashier was rude… I did meet one very nice bartender. But other than that, I was not impressed. $ 40 at the door and it was no where near capacity. I can 100% say… never giving this place my business again. Step this shit up.

Uh, no. $ 20 charge to get in? FIRST, It’s not busy. 2nd, IT’S AFTER10:30ATNIGHT, ITSHOULDBEFREE… 3RD…YOUAREN’T SHOWINGMEANYTHING I’M MISSING. The only thing poppin was the music. Girls, cute guys, boo’s… ummmm, I have that at my room. I wanted to go in, listen to music, and yea, have a good time. but boo’s should be discounted if I’m paying $ 20 to get in… and they aren’t. They checked my ID before I went in… which was professional of them… All & all, it didn’t seem worth it. This place gave me a bad vibe… the bouncer was laughing too much as they told us $ 20 each person… something seemed off… felt like a hustle for cash. With the cost of drinks, plus a $ 20 payment for each person, it’s not worth it. Thanks SF… but I’ll move on.

Suprise salsa spot! After eating dinner in ghirardelli square Tuesday evening we stumbled on this bar which has out-facing tv’s in the Windows showing a warriors game about to go into overtime. We walked in to find they were waiting for the game to end to begin their regular Tuesday evening salsa night. After the game the place emptied out but within 15min it filled back up again with salsa dancers. Floor is small but good hardwood floor for dancing. Not having our salsa shoes we only stayed for a few songs but would like to come back

The worse possible service I’ve ever encountered at a bar/club. The security think it’s Las Vegas and the bartenders are snarky and rude. After a misunderstanding with bottle service the table I was with was waiting for a worker to approach us with what they were doing about our current situation when instead security came up to us asked us to leave because we didn’t pay(we had reserved a table) and then continued to curse and get loud with a FEMALE that I was with. As we made our way outside the club a security told us we needed to move and we couldn’t stand there LOL it’s just San Francisco people not an upscale bar nor anything near that THEREISDUCTTAPEONTHECOUCHESTOHOLDTEARSTOGETHER Please get your employees together your establishment is making a bad reputation for itself. Never returning

They should hire somebody to change the diapers of all the security guards. Those boys are some unhappy campers, that rash must be getting real nasty poor lil guys :( Seriously though they had the shittiest attitudes toward my boyfriend and I for no reason. Guess they didn’t need our business despite the place being dead empty at midnight on a Saturday. Do go this business is a joke.

Good music, poor customer service. Steer clear of this club if you can! I went here with my group of friends to celebrate her birthday and my boyfriend was denied entry because he wasn’t wearing the appropriate dress code. After showing them my Instagram and realizing how many followers I had and my friend’s status of working at a place that could benefit them, they let him in. We paid $ 20 each to get into the bar only realizing 10 seconds after paying the entrance fee that this was a dud and demanded to get our money back. The female employee that was in charge of the money refused to give it back. She seemed very disorganized and led me to other employees who had the authorization to do so only to be told that she was the one who was in charge. Eventually, we got one of the promoters, Rod, to weigh in in the decision. A little more chat here and there, he was able to give me half of me and my boyfriend’s money back but they weren’t able to give the rest of the money back to my friends. This only happened because this club is struggling to bring people in.

Let me first say that I’m an active Unilocal user, but not an active Unilocal reviewer. This establishment did just enough to make me write a review. Fort One offered free cover before 10:30 on 1÷30÷2016. I know how the club/bar/lounge scene works – you have to get in line ~45 minutes early if you want a decent shot at making cover. My group of 12 get there, an hour early. There’s maybe 30 people in line, but we all know places like this hold the line – its nothing out of the norm and I’m okay with that. We get to the front of the line, and the bouncer rudely says to one of my colleagues, «You don’t have dress shoes, get out of line.» Are you kidding me? Yeah, he was wearing Sperry’s. Probably not the most professional shoe, but by no means comparable to the rainbow-colored Jordan’s and white tee’s that the 4 guys in front of us had. Thinking of going somewhere else, my group goes off to the side and are approached by another bouncer. He states that his coworker can be unfair at times and that he’ll get us in, we just have to wait back in line. You know where this is going… we wait back in line, and we’re all charged cover. Suddenly, Sperry’s aren’t such a big deal when you get 12 people paying $ 20 cover. Eager to get the night started, we all hesitantly(and stupidly) pay the cover charge. After a night out, my buddy checks his bank statement. He claims he was double charged. Okay, I get it. Sometimes places make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. I check my account, and the same thing occurred. Before you know it, we start asking everyone else who was there that night and 8 people were all double charged! Oh yeah, and this place is full of misfits. 2 girls in our party had their phones stolen out of their purse. There are some super crazy ninja thieves here, so watch out! If I would have caught them in the act, I could have used my 2-handed lethal karate chop to show them who is boss Moral of the story – they’ll do whatever they can to get you to pay cover. You’ll be charged for any transaction you make there 2x. If you don’t know Kung-Fu then prepare to get your phone stolen.

Saturday night — expensive drinks, but the bartender did make them strong. The music was pretty cool. The atmosphere, however, was very confusing, as the doormen seamed to take their job very seriously and treated the entry process as if we were standing in line at a fancy vip vegas nightclub, but once you get inside its a very casual dance party… very confusing. Also, there were several women there«dressed to impress» with short club dresses, stiletto heels, and made-up… while there were also women there with flats, jeans, and sweaters. Same for the guys… some were there with button ups, neat jeans, and dress shoes, while others were far more casual. I’m not sure what ambiance the club is going for, but nonetheless, my experience was pretty good.

My friends and I booked a VIP table for NYE. The VIP area couldn’t even accommodate us all, we were told we had to move to a small side of the«VIP area»… Thereafter, the bottle service that was included in our VIP booking turned into a police raid in which the police officers confiscated our alcohol bottles served to us by Fort One. This place is a joke, and unprofessional.

Attended the New Year’s Eve Party at Fort 1. To say that I am disappointed with our experience is an understatement. We reserved a table and paid close to $ 1500 for bottle service. A complete waste of money and our New Year’s Eve Celebration was ruined! We were told that our table would accommodate our group of 10 which was a lie. Our table was next to the bathroom and a much smaller group than ours who also ordered less was given the larger corner table. Right before midnight officers started gathering in our VIP area. Moments later, we were being raided and the bottles that we had purchased were confiscated. As a matter of fact, the champagne we were pouring to toast our New Year was taken from our hands only after we were video taped and pictures were taken of us and our table by the officers of SFPD! And, we still had to pay for the bottles they confiscated with alcohol in them even after expressing how upset we were with our VIP hosts.(They make you pay for everything at the beginning of the night as if they saw this coming and wanted to make sure they collect!) After having the bottles taken away we went to the bar where patrons of the club became aggressive with members of our group. They were being discriminated against based on sexual orientation INFRONTOFSECURITY and were told to «choose their battles» and walk away. The other gentlemen were allowed to remain in the club despite their aggressive nature and using derogatory and offensive language. In addition to the raid the busser who was keeping up with cleaning the table shoves you out of his way when he’s walking and then tries to fight you and becomes aggressive because your in his way. There is nothing special about being a VIP here. People were going in and out of the area walking right past the joke of club security. Save your special night out in The City for another venue worthy of your patronage. Fort 1 is a complete joke. Unfortunately, we won’t be given back our New Year’s Eve to celebrate accordingly.

I almost feel bad for this place getting all these bad reviews. It seems the place may be undergoing an identity crisis. Fort One is a sports bar. Period. Meaning it’s a watering hole for locals and tourists. It borders on being a dive bar. When someone told me it was a «nightclub», I went out of my way to visit on a weekday and was very disappointed. There was no bouncer and the dance floor is in the basement. There was an odd choice of banda playing and lights flashing but was otherwise completely empty. It’s almost like the owners didn’t want any customers down there. The bar was half full. A group of airline pilots still in uniform was playing pool with a woman who looked out of place in a fancy red cocktail dress. Place was otherwise full of a ragtag group of old and young barflies dressed down in jeans and sweats. The location should have tipped me off. It is in the middle of all the«waterfront» hotels, motels, and tourist traps that close early. So basically it is out of the way for most everyone else. The area is totally dead after 9:30pm. As a nightclub I will not try this place again. As a locals bar with an eclectic clientele I can give this place props. Every neighborhood needs its pub. It seems the new owners need to make a decision about what this place is and run with it.

So first I wanna start off by saying I’d have to be either very Angry or very Excited about the venue to post about it. it was a nice venue don’t get me wrong however I DONT respect(FALSEADVERTISEMENT) . Tonight I went to a «on» «Performance» from Bryson tiller. who is an great artist however not feeling that he didn’t show up. but From my understanding He never was coming. so I waited and waited and waited to see someone who wasn’t even coming. I’m very upset and will continue to be upset until I already get my money back. They promote and sell tickets to events like its a Show. when in reality it was a after party for someone who was not coming… Instead of promoting it like it was … A fucking regular ass party(excuse my French) but I’m very upset… So for that and that reason only I don’t mess with Fort 1 Bar in San Francisco… And don’t respect them… I don’t wanna give them a star at all but I did for the music… And the nice bartender. But that’s bull crap. Really want my money back…

For an occasional Clubber, I’ve been still been to many different clubs in the city. This was my first time heading to this one and the spot is what they would call… aiteeeeeeeeeee. Friday night, and got on the guestlist before 1030pm so it was free. The line was minimal and the security was pretty lenient. They do however expect you to be in proper clubbing atire form head to toe but i was lucky to be let off this time for wearing Nike Flyknits… At least my feet won’t be sore at the end of the night… Got into the club… and it was not crowded. The age group seemed to be the older 20s, 30s. Music was pretty much bay area hip hop slaps all night which was cool. Small bar in the front and then a small dance floor in the back of the building. Laser lights looked like the ones I bought from spencers to host my parties. Limited chairs to sit on so if you’re too turnt or just simply tired. then you’re out of luck. Restrooms were solid for a club… Also had a person handing out paper towels and soap inside. Was able to find street parking right across from it by luck but it shouldn’t be too difficult at night to find parking around because stores are closed. Generally an okay location with hip hop music for a Friday night out but there are for sure better places like 1015 Folsom, Temple SF, Audio…
