We’ll see how the sidewalk turns out, but they chopped the roots of the tree in front of my house and then laid the concrete I’m guessing to smooth it out, like the roots aren’t going to grow back and make it uneven again later. They left the bags of the roots and other foliage just sitting like huge pile of garbage on the sidewalk for three days. I hope they composted it but it was in plastic bags so I’m not sure they did. My biggest issue with them is the level of consideration for the people in the neighborhood where they are doing work. They had their «no parking”/construction signs for a week and the crew only showed up on day one! They didn’t do anything the rest of the week! So they had to extend their permit or whatever for another week or two. This past week the crew was only there two of the five weekdays and then Saturday morning at 8 am when people with a normal workweek want to sleep in, they decide to JACKHAMMER. The level of inconsideration for the residents where they are working is appalling.
