Kelly and Katie were a tremendous help and went above and beyond to help me finish my project. I had ordered several vanities from Duravit, one of which arrived without a drawer pull in the box. When I called the team at Ferguson they immediately followed up with Duravit in Germany and had them send me a new drawer pull for the vanity that was missing one. Duravit sent a drawer pull, but it was the wrong size and Katie reached out again and got them to express mail me one. She was proactive, helpful, and successful in getting me the right product so I could finish my bathroom. While my experience with Duravit wasn’t great, the service from the Ferguson team was really stellar. It’s not often that I find a sales team that is great at customer service both before and after the sale — but this team is.

Update: Ferguson called to do what they could to make good on the issues I had. Definitely appreciate their effort, I’d give them another shot the next time I have bath /​kitchen needs.

Prices (even vs internet), and show room are good.
The problem here is the sales people are completely swamped and are using a DOS based computer entry order system. Yes DOS!!! It’s completely insane. To make any change requires typing in inscrutable codes. Absent any picture and meaningful description, the poor sales person is left to enter long crazy codes into an 100+ item order, all from order catalog. So (of course) there are mistakes because we are all human. The customer has really no way to review an order because rather than, for example a line reading: «Newport Brass Alveston faucet in polished nickel», your order sheet will show a tiny black and with image with the code NB12AFNPQ, or some such craziness; you won’t even know what the line item is: faucet, handle, spout, whatever. Your final receipts will be completely inscrutable and be printed on a dot matrix printout with carbon copy and cute little holes on the side of the paper for the printer to thread (seriously!!). Emailed receipt, or on-​line account with order items and links to install specs? Nope and nope.
If you are managing a project and the wrong valve stems come in, you are screwed. You WILL get mistakes on your order. Plan around it.
And because the ordering is such a cluster f, the sales people never pick up the phone and are constantly putting out fires. We spent a lot of $$ here and rather than mad for the mistakes, I just felt sad for the poor sales people trying to operate in a 2015 world using 1989 technology.
So here is what you do: you must must must order everything early. Way way way early. And don’t ever expect a call back or to get through to your sales person. Go through the order at least two times. Insist! Be a jerk, triple check. Go very very very slow, and treat them like a human who will make mistakes because they are and will.
Final comment: if you are buying bathroom fixtures: research the different technologies for finishes. We bought some very nice products that already look terrible. Strangely, we bought some cheaper Delta faucets with a PVD finish for our guest bathrooms. They weren’t as stylish, but they still look awesome while our more expensive ones are looking terrible. A heads up on the merits of different finishes from our sales person would have been nice. I recently asked her about it but she didn’t even know what PVD is. (look it up, you’ll wish you had.) This is both sad and pathetic … They are not sales people, they are merely data entry zombies. Honestly, you need to do the research yourself.

I came in looking for a sink undermount to attach the basin of the bathroom sink. Seems like a pretty standard part, especially for a specialty store.
I wandered the aisles for a while, without any success in finding the part I needed. After waiting for another customer to be helped, I spoke with a gentleman at the counter who was happy to check the store inventory. Unfortunately, they didn’t carry the part, but he checked online and found the part on the Home Depot website for me.
Overall, I would have expected them to carry such a standard item, but appreciated the assistance.

All you have to do is walk in and realize that customer service is not their priority.
Its as if having to wait is considered a special privilege.
Luxury should not need to be slow — it should meet my expectation and timeline, not theirs.
Been here twice, both times buying nothing… more due to the service than the items they had.

Hard to review a company that refuses to return your call. Trying to buy an expensive appliance. Had a nice call with a sales rep at the firm, but they never followed up on an open issue. I called back a second time and am still waiting to hear from them. Odd approach to an inbound call for a $ 1k appliance and installation…

Went into the showroom and was impressed with the selection and the seemingly knowledgable and friendly sales person I dealt with. She worked up a quote for me, and I decided to move forward with the purchase several days later, so I emailed to let her know that we wanted to buy the parts and that we needed them quickly. A couple of days go by and no response. Then I called and left a message, a couple more days go by and still no response. So I called again, same story. I finally heard back several days later and placed my order and told my contractor he could go to their warehouse to pick up the parts. After returning to the job and starting the install, he realized she sold us the wrong part and had to go back the next day. We’ve called and emailed several times since to ask questions, request a copy of our receipt, etc. and responses have been very slow or non-​existent. Products and prices seem good, but the service is lacking.

Absolutely horrendous! Ferguson made us wait for months on a back ordered toilet only to discover that when it arrived, FERGUSON MADE A MISTAKE on the order and had written the wrong model. Not only are the sales people (notably BRANDON) inefficient, they also hide behind excuses like «they don’t know how to fill out a return» to delay and waste customer time. My interior designer had placed the order but later found out that my GC won’t even touch anything from Ferguson because they have a terrible reputation. Now I learned my lesson. I won’t ever use these people again. Not only are the sales people there not a team, they seem to want to sabotage other sales people’s business. And their manager couldn’t care less. Not only were none of the workers unapologetic, the manager also was obstinate in refusing to acknowledge any fault on their part. If contractors won’t use this place, why would you want to?
OLIVERO PLUMBING helped immensely. They solved our toilet issue quickly and found a toilet from another vendor in california even though they didn’t carry it. Ferguson told me they’d try to locate the model of toilet we were trying to originally order only to find out that after a whole day they hadn’t actually tried because Brandon «was helping other customers». When I first called Olivero Plumbing in el cerrito, a nice lady said she didn’t have it, but then called me back in 30 minutes to let me know she had located one and could have it ready for pickup in two days. Now That’s The Kind Of Business That I want to Do Business With! I’ve never even been to el cerrito! My GC picked it up later that week. Easy!

Okay the shopping experience is not the best. The showroom is nice and can be a little overwhelming, and there aren’t enough sales staff to properly attend to every customer, especially if you’re not sure about what you want yet. However, if you’re patient, eventually you’ll get attention and my salesperson Bill was helpful in suggestions, and quick in turning around the bid as well as following up once the items were ready to be picked up.
Prices are competitive for the higher end fixtures, and after sale service has turned out to be pretty good.

and all the stuff on-​line) and they are quite competitive as they sell the more high end stuff. The faucets I bought are all back ordered, the sinks and toilets i bought were in stocks, but seems like I never get a time line when things will come in. The person helping me was nice but not very responsive to my emails about when the stuff will be available for pick up, which is very frustrating!!! The time line is important! I got on the phone with her finally and she said she will email me the details of the pick up and guess
what, no emails. Finally I visited the store she was very busy hence not too responsive which I understand but still quite frustrating. My advice is: plan ahead, order 1 month in advance, prices seem reasonable here and nice show room. But frustrating if you have tight time line.

I wouldn’t bother if you have a serious high end project. I called to make an appointment because I want digital controls as part of my shower, faucet, and tub remodel. I specifically asked if they sold the ones manufactured by Kohler, Moen, and Grohe. YES! Of course! So, I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment and was browsing. A nice lady asked me why I was there, and I told her. She told me that my salesperson was with another customer still and that she would be happy to help me. I told her that if she would point me to the digital displays, I would just check them out until he was free. After waiting a while, she came back and told me that they do not have any displays of the digital products. In fact, it appears that since I called and made the appointment and my arriving, the state of California made them illegal due to water consumption or something!!! How can you waste someone’s time and MORE than to mislead them as to the products you sell and then act like THEY are the idiot when you change the story upon arrival?
Oh, at least they have parking. They didn’t mislead me about that.

We purchased items on June 11 and to date this company does not care about the delivery time. We were told 2 weeks approximately. It is now August 1^st. Go elsewhere. Their attitude is oh well it comes when it comes. Oh and to make things worse our sink we ordered, the plunger drain is on back ordered and not known when to be even in stock, which basically renders it almost useless. thanks!!!

Watch out! These guys are fighting with me over a «restocking charge». I paid $ 1,550 for 2 sinks that were too large, called to cancel within 48 hours and now they want to charge me a $ 505 «restocking fee» (¹⁄₃ THE TOTAL COST!) They do not POST this (as required) and their invoice does not state that they are charging these fees. In fact, their invoice states there IS NO RESTOCKING FEE!
They also misinformed me of a contractor’s discount, which was not given. I purchased the sinks from the same entity in another town (another Fergusons) for far less. The SF Fergusons would NOT give me a refund when I returned the sinks within one week. Whenever you ask them for a refund you are told «you will get an email».
Looks like I’ll be taking this up with my credit card company and Small Claims Court. What a waste of time. Sad.

We went to every place on the Peninsula looking for faucets and sinks and should not have wasted our time. If we had headed to Ferguson’s first we would have saved a lot of time. Amiel was friendly, educated on all the different brands, was able to point out minute differences, and understood what we were looking for. We are remodeling our house and have visited many venues for granite, fixtures, tile, and appliances. We have been surprised at the poor customer service at most places. Ferguson’s was one of the BEST in this category. Thanks again Amiel!

«My wife and I had been shopping around for a while looking at how we wanted to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. I saw an ad for Ferguson on HGTV and we decided to check them out. Upon arriving it didn’t look much like a showroom but I was led to the side office area where Christina spent some time with us.
She helped us price some of the fixtures we had in mind already and also helped complete our list with some things we weren’t sure about. We decided on a mix of Kohler, Grohe, and Hansgrohe for everything. She was very knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. In the end Ferguson was a lot cheaper than online and some of the other showrooms we had looked at, plus they could have everything we needed to our house as soon as the next day with no shipping cost. We didn’t need everything that quickly but other places had told us days and weeks on some items plus shipping costs. We were sold by how professional they were and went with Ferguson.
Marco the driver was on time for our scheduled delivery and helped unload everything with our plumber. He was very friendly.
I highly recommend Ferguson. They don’t have the best showroom but Christina said they were going to be remodeling in the next few months. If you have an idea of what you are looking for than I highly recommend visiting with Christina or Dan.»

While Ferguson has an amazing selection of quality items, I was not impressed by the customer service we received. We ordered about $ 10k worth of materials (vanity, light fixtures, toilets, etc.) recently for a remodel. They forgot to order a mirror and two other items that were on the bid and that were on a follow up email. I received two of the forgotten items in a separate shipment but still no mirror. When I called to inquire, they told manufacturer won’t ship until after the holidays and the price I was quoted that was supposed to be a «deal» really wasn’t. I found what I wanted online for cheaper and it will be sent to me within a couple of days.

Stay away from their Mirabelle house brand!
I went here to buy a bathtub for my new bathroom. They immediately recommended a Mirabelle tub, which I found out later is their house brand. The tub looked good, so I ordered it.
Once installed I discovered that the tub was slightly warped. One corner on the bottom of the tub was lower than the drain, so about a cup of water would always sit there and not drain out. There were subtle but noticeable deformities in other parts of the tub as well. They came out, made a recommendation to try and adjust it. My contractor adjusted it, but it just created new problems elsewhere.
They agreed it would be best to replace with a new tub. That’s where the nightmare began — they ordered a new one which came in with exactly the same problems. Eventually it took them about 3 months and (they told me) over 30 tubs to find one that was good enough to install. Apparently they have major quality control issues at the factory, and the mold for this particular tub was deformed.
3 months of an unfinished bathroom + having to rip out and redo a large portion of my bathroom + many unpleasant customer service interactions along the way = a one star review from me.
If you choose to shop here, I would strongly suggest staying away from anything that carries the Mirabelle brand.

I really appreciate having Ferguson in the neighborhood. They have one of the largest selection of vendors to order from and Amiel was able to cross reference the style I was after across a few different companies. After reading some unfavorable reviews of the toilet I ordered, Amiel expediently returned the throne. I was slightly miffed that the sink shipment came in late without explanation. However, it was later explained the first sink had a hair-​line crack, and it was the replacement that arrived late. The second shipment was disappointing because the sinkhole was not stamped out. Amiel really went the extra mile to make sure I got a non-​cracked, sinkhole-​enhanced sink. I had some remaining stress with finding the correct sinktrap fixture, but all-​in-​all the company was very flexible and got it all right in the end.
Pricing was fair but not a steal. My sink and I have been living happily ever after for 6months now.

I purchased a number of things for my bathroom from Ferguson. A vanity and matching cabinet, toilet and sink. I worked with Mary Wood and found her extremely helpful. It was months between the time I first visited Ferguson and met Mary and when I made the purchases. During those months I periodically emailed Mary with some other options I was considering, and she responded quickly with the quote, which included a nice discount.
When it came time to purchase, she made it happen, and made sure it was delivered very quickly, as I had a short window with my contractor.
Ferguson is very reasonably priced, as I did quite a bit of price comparisons with vendors and online. In my opinion, the top notch service made purchasing through Ferguson a much better value, then perhaps a few dollar saved if I purchased online.
I highly recommend going there. They have a really nice showroom right in the heart of the Valencia street area.

Let me set your expectations:
1. Nice variety of products.
2. You WILL pay a premium.
3. If you THINK you’ll ever need customer service/​support (Like: How do I remove that drain plug I bought here?), DON’T expect it; they’re largely NON-​TECHNICAL. Won’t give a well-​framed question even 60-​seconds of thought before referring you to the manufacturer.
4. These people are ORDER TAKERS.
