European Cleaners

Just stopped in at European Cleaners with a fleece with a zipper that was stuck. The tailor, Will, was incredibly nice and helpful. Am really grateful to him and am now a fan of this establishment.

Dont go there if you have any kind of a schedule. They’re not always open during their normal business hours.

This review will be short and sweet.
Location — in the Safeway shopping center, which happens to be close to my apartment. Bonus.
Hours — open pretty late — til 7p on the weekdays and 4p (but they tend to stay until 5p) on Sunday.
Pricing — ok. I feel it’s a bit high for dry cleaning, but laundry is competitive.
Service — friendly and if you ask for a rush order, they won’t charge you extra.
Overall…they clean your clothes for a reasonable price. If you live close, check them out.

I have used them a couple times. They do a pretty good job and the prices are not too bad. I do wish that they would open earlier so that I could drop my stuff off before I head to work. It would be nice to take advantage of the savings they offer if you drop it off early.

I love this cleaners! I’ve been going here for the past 10 years and Will and Maria have been very nice and friendly. In the last 10 years, they’ve never messed up on my clothes. They even have a sale when people do not pick up their clothes around December every year for a cheap price that I look forward to every year.
They offer an early bird special for 10% OFF before 9am and their prices are pretty cheap compared to other cleaners. You must try it out here, it’s a great location as well (right across from Safeway).

I agree with Liz K. They are average and I’m not raving about their service or prices but they are decent and seem fair.

Drop your dry cleaning off here if you want the following:
— a dry cleaner close to your gym, which happens to be the Club One Fillmore
— also want to pick up some groceries at the local (un)Safeway
— to save a few bucks — they’re cheap!
Those are the reasons why I go there. The owners are neither mean nor overly friendly. They answer questions politely and fine enough, they have never lost or messed up any of my work.
If you drop your dry cleaning off on weekday mornings, you get a 10% discount. However, warning! The guy who has the morning shift is RARELY there at 7:30. He appears more at 7:50…and I keep wondering why they don’t just change the opening hours to be 8 a.m.
As a commuter, those precious minutes before I have to deal with traffic can compound, so… I’ve rushed there many times at 7:35, 7:45…the dude is never there. His sister works another shift, and she mentioned that he opens up after he drops his son off at the nearby high school. Again, just say you open at 8a.m. people!
