Engel & Völkers was founded in 1977. We began as a specialty boutique agency providing high-​end real estate services to wealthy European investors in search of assistance from experts who were highly professional and discreet. I worked with Kimberly Sterling to purchase a condo in San Francisco and was extremely impressed. She has lived in the city for a long time and is an expert on the neighborhoods and real estate market.
After an initial phone call we spent a Sunday going to open houses together. She was very quickly able to understand exactly what I was looking for and help me understand the pros and cons of all the properties we looked at. She was great at sourcing units to look at and was even able to find great properties that had not yet been listed on trulia/​redfin etc.
The market is really crazy right now and I was worried about getting into a bidding war or having to go WAY over asking to get a place I was satisfied with. She took the lead on the whole process and helped me make competitive offers that I was comfortable with. Overall the process was much smoother, quicker and easier than I had been expecting. Kimberly really did a great job.
Additionally, after moving into my amazing new condo, Kimberly has continued to be a resource for me. She has happily gone out of her way to assist me with any and all questions /​concerns I’ve had about being a new homeowner in sf.
I would strongly recommend Engel & Voelkers and Kimberly Sterling without hesitation.
