This review is loooong overdue, I’ve been going to Sheila for 3+ years now and hope I never have to go anywhere else. I found her and decided to give it a shot after reading some amazing Unilocal reviews, and she exceeded all expectations.
She uses wax that is very very gentle — I have very sensitive skin that usually reacts badly to waxing, and I have never ever been hurt after a wax by Sheila.
She’s super flexible for her loyal customers and tries to accommodate us whenever possible, if we need to squeeze in before a trip or whatnot.
I’ve tried some other waxing places and always come back to her, because the quality and attention to detail Sheila puts into everything isn’t matched! It might not be the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for.
She’s funny, gentle, and painless — best wax in San Francisco by far!

Been visiting Sheila since 2012 and will remain a loyal client. I’ve had the best painless waxes by her. Leave no hair behind! That’s a good «miyagi».
Let’s be real, ladies… Hopping from spot to spot to get service isn’t as comfortable as going to one direct person. It’s sacred down there, i don’t know about you but I prefer keeping who sees what to a minimal. And she uses hard wax, love it! If you are scared of pain, hard wax is the way to go.

Sheila is AMAZING!!! I have been coming to her for years even when I live across the city. She is fast, clean and makes it as painless as possible. Always trying to draw my attention away to lessen the pain. And she has this complimentary numbing spray if needed.

Sheila is amazing! I have been going to Sheila for 4 years now and I would never go to anyone else for my Brazilian and Brows! She shapes my brows perfectly everytime and gives a practically painless Brazilian. She is easy to talk to which helps distract during the waxing. If you are looking for the best, look no further!

I cannot say enough great things about Sheila! I’ve been going to Sheila for 4 years now and have followed her around to different salons, she’s THAT good! Sheila is amazing at what she does. She makes waxing easy and painless (yes, truly) and only relies on the best products for her clients. She takes the time to shape your eyebrows to make them look great — and you never feel rushed. To top it all off, she has such a great personality! You feel like you’re talking and catching up with a friend. Honestly, if you’ve never been waxed before or have had a bad waxing experience, you need to go to Sheila. She’s the BEST in the city!

I have been following Sheila for the last 4 years. She is THE best waxer in the Bay Area. She is flexible and will work around your schedule. I don’t let any one else (including me) touch my eyebrows except her. If you’re looking for a clean and almost painless waxing experience you can’t go to anyone else. She has numbing spray that can take the bite off any Brazilian wax. I would recommend booking your next waxing apt with Sheila soon!

I used to be someone who would occasionally get a bikini wax, but was never really a regular customer anywhere. That all change when I met Sheila about two years ago. Not only did I have an entirely pleasant experience, which encouraged me to return regularly, I instantly adored Sheila! She is courteous, professional, and really fun to get to know. Sheila is clearly knowledgeable about waxing and I trust her fully. I recommend her to all my girlfriends because really, you can’t find anything better than this!

All I can say is that I have found my waxing guru in the wonderful city of San Francisco. This guru goes by the name of Sheila, who I cannot say enough wonderful things about. She is always on time and very professional.
I think I’ve been going to her for about 3 years now, but I cannot recall when I started going because I see her all the time — I feel like a man who forgot his anniversary right now.
My favorite things about Sheila:
(1) Uses chocolate wax for the lip — which smells amazing.
(2) Hard wax and strip wax are both used depending on the area (legs get strip, lip/​eyebrow/​bikini/​underarm get hard wax).
(3) Very detailed– my eyebrows always look great.
(4) Very friendly and personable. You definitely want this when someone is waxing your female bits. I don’t want someone who’s just barking orders on how to get into weird positions for everything.
(5) No weird positions for bikini/​Brazilian waxing. Bonus!
(6) She makes the experience as painless as humanly possible. It is waxing after all ladies– you’re ripping hair out by the follicle.
I highly recommend her, even though I know this review will cause her schedule to go bazerk, I need to share her talents with other ladies in SF!
