Only giving 5 stars so you’ll see the review. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! They tell us check in is at 1. Had an engagement at 3 so perfect. Get there they say no check in is 3. Had to sit for 2 hours and was 2 hours late to the engagement. They lost our reservation. Spend 30 minutes while the guy just kept looking for the name. Finally someone showed up who speaks English and figured out that it was canceled and we were never notified. Finally booked a room. No elevator had to go up 3 flights of stairs just to find out the key doesn’t work. Had to get ready in the bathroom as the guy was in the room trying to fix the lock. Smoke detector wrapped in plastic HIGHLY ILLEGAL!!! Kept a lock on the credit card for 3 days. Each person kept telling us all different information. By far the worst experience I have ever had. Should’ve slept in our vehicle. Would’ve been much more satisfactory

Stayed at this place during just this past weekend. We were in town to meet up with friends and attend a music festival. We had originally planned to stay a night and then book with our friends the rest of the stay. Our friends booked last minute and stayed at some REALLY upscale boutique, which in the end didn’t work out so well. So we decided to book the rest of our weekend here.
We were really happy with our service from the front desk. So much as to the gracious hi’s to extending our friend to park his car there as we didn’t drive. They had just done some upgrades such as the TVS and mentioned the future projects which we were excited to hear about as later we realized how close this place is to everything in the city. And such great nearby spots such as Sightglass and El Capitan. Both amazing spots! It was also raining 90% of the weekend, being from Vegas, it was soooo nice to hear the rain and leave the window slightly cracked.
One thing I will mention is to make sure, if you want breakfast, to get there before 9am. Oh and they still offer free parking!

Wifi sucked only good thing about the hotel was that it was so close to all that you could ever want or need

Left my iPhone charger in the room when we checked out. Called back later and they had me leave a message with housekeeping. Housekeeping denied finding it. I physically returned to the hotel to ask and have them check the lost and found. Again denied having it. They told me to talk to the manager. Spoke to her and she didn’t care at all – no apology, nothing. Took my number and said she’d get back to me and never did.
When something goes missing and your EMPLOYEE took it, you take steps to make it right. Never had such a horrible hotel experience.

I stayed here one night recently. Had to park in parking lot across the street from building they put me in. the stairs are very steep and there is no elevator for a 3 story building, so carrying heavy luggage was difficult. I reserved another night about a week later but upon my arrival found they would not accept a VISA debit card from Chase Bank. that was a surprise since theft had taken it for payment the week before. why do hotels accept debit cards for a reservation if they won’t accept it for payment upon arrival? the front desk clark blamed the late night employee who checked me in and said the manager, Ms. Ashford, would get mad if she took my debit card and so against my wishes, she canceled my reservation.
I got a friend who had a credit card to agree to let me use his if we could reserve and pay over the phone but she said no to that too.

NEVER will I stay here or Anyone I know!!! I a diabetic so I asked for a refrigerator forum insulin and they didn’t have any when I talked to the manager he said I could leave it… DOWNSTAIRS AND ACROSS A 4 lane street wait to be buzzed in to retrieve my insulin!!! Asked for maid room service that NEVER Came! Worst customer service ! So bad this is the first Unilocal I have ever done and theONLY REASON IS BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS A HOLE! Don’t waste ur money!

This was my worst experience ever. I’ve been to motels that are well kept. The housekeepers had the CLEAN towels on the floor that were being distributed to the rooms. The water was not going down the drain in the shower. I had to put my foot on the lever so the water could go down. There were nail clippings on the side of the couch. The price was outrageous for the room.

The WORST hotel EVER!!! Run away! There is no customer service at all and the staff was SO MEAN and tried extremely hard to avoid taking responsibility. Our sheets were covered with oil, and when the staff brought in new ones, they were still the same. There was also dirt stain on one of our beds. We asked for more blankets, turned out there wasn’t anymore blankets left in the hotel! We also asked for a rollaway full bed, which weirdly didn’t fit me (50 lbs, 23 yrs old female) and my tiny 6 years old sister, with one night’s stay, we were totally done with the hotel. No one in my family got a good night of sleep, and while my sister has allergy, she even caught a fever after that night. I told the staff what a horrible experience we had and we were not going to stay for the next few days. We asked the staff to refund us for the rest of our stay. but the exact words from the staff was” this was not a bad experience. You are making all the false accusations.” REALLY? This was what a staff should say to a customer? She also said the dirt stain was our fault and there was no way that the housecleaning would leave a dirty sheet there. Not only that she did not show any empathy, she also charged us for the rollaway bed, which was the least she could do without refunding us. In short, staff was mean, hotel not clean, and you will get mad at the end.

Dude! Come on! You have so many bad reviews and didn’t do jack to fix any crap! BULLSHIT! I had no choice but to come here because the other hotel had only one small bed available and had to do a last minute cancel and last minute booking. This place is dirty… and the sink and bathtub is freaking clogged! Is your housekeeping an idiot and didn’t say anything or just dont give a damn?! Probably both… but owners should show care in their property! Run down crap hole! The paint on the walls and doors are chipping… dirt and hair are on the windsill. this place is so freaking disgusting… This place needs to be burned down… hate it.
Oh I forgot to add… there is no elevator? Isn’t that a huge lawsuit against the disabilities?

so I booked the stupid hotel for tonight staying in San Francisco and it is the most ugliest and the worst Hotel its not even a hotel it’s disgusting we had blood stains on the sheets the staff is rude and it’s just awful definitely not worth $ 90 a night very dirty

One of the worst hotels I’ve already been in my life.
Shower is horrible, no water, no pressure. The room sometimes is too cold, sometime is too hot and the AC doesnt work.
The employees arent prepared to talk with people, and I saw at least 5 families complaining about the service while I was there.
I will never more come back to this place

The hotel itself was okay, how ever this place was the worste guest service i have ever recieved. The front desk clerk refused to go by my reservation and told me i needee to call the third party, then insisted i just cancel so they can give me room to the other person. I should have known it was horrible the lady in front of me was telling the clerk she woukd never stay there again the that she recieved the worst guest service. Horrible, then i was double charged and had to go through a process to get my money back.

Watch out for the «bait and switch «. They had me sign in then told me the room was across the street. The building across the street is disgusting, moldy smells like urine filthy room looked like shit was still on the toilet seat. When i went back to leave the office manager tried to tell me I was committed to the room. Then she finally agreed to not charge the card which i videotaped. Then they charged my card Any way. When i called them they said i took a shower. These people are liers. I’m disputing this.

Summary: It was an okay experience for the price I suppose. Afterall, it’s San Francisco?
Price:
There was one thing that my girlfriend was downright pissed off about though — the hotel provided some really nice photographs and room descriptions of where we would be staying. By the time we got there, it was smaller than the 50 — 120 dollar hotels we normally stay at. We got the suite and the room looks like it fit comfortably for us and our roommate. Costed is about 230 a night. No fridge or microwave unless you want to pay $ 12 for it and it’s in their office.
Environment:
We found it to be very cramped and tiny. While it did make up for us for sleeping in, it was a bit shabby. I walked into a couple of spider or cobb webs as I stepped into the bathroom. Their smoke alarm was not unwrapped, it appeared melted into the ceiling at first. Some of the towels had some weird stains on them.
The hotel is separated into two buildings, first building with the office and the other would be across the street. It appeared to be pretty run down but we managed. We were only five-​six blocks from the Moscone center and several more from the BART station. However, the streets around the hotel may look a little shady and smell like dense feces. Showers head is rather low, so if you’re tall, you may need to kneel to shower.
The television was a really old television that is pretty much the size of my laptop. You get HBO though, so we watched and enjoyed what we can. While I did mention that the towel did not look good for us, we were accomodated for all of our necessities.
In the afternoon, when the sun is over head and coming down on the hotel, it will become unreasonbly hot for the building across the street. The A/​C unit will not help and its lowest setting is 61. We have tried opening the windows at one point to see if the cold weather outside would help, but the sun turns the room into a sauna if your room is on the outside. Leaving the AC on since morning but if you’re in the room from 12 to 7, expect to sweat a lot unless you’re sitting next to the AC unit.
Service:
The people were friendly, the women in the afternoon were nice and helped us check in smoothly. The breakfast consisted of packaged honeybuns. You can not check in until 3pm, so if you’re early, you could ask them to hold your luggage until you check in. It’s 2 dollars per luggage. Free internet though, often leggy but if one wifi fails, they have three more to connect to.

Well I the first night was interesting. One of my buddy’s threw up outside and it took them a week to clean it up. Also they charge you for everything. Its crazy they have charges for everything including the tube TV which was 500 $ if stolen. It is close to a lot of things.

Horrible customer service they charged my credit card $ 19,782!!! Instead of $ 197.82 when I confronted them they were denying it. I had to email the owner a copy of charge from amex and received a non-​apologetic defensive email that in some way it was my fault for being rude to them about it. Luckily amex did not authorize this transaction.
When I arrived at the hotel I asked for a later check out and they said «no» unless we pay for an extra night (check out is at 10am) also we asked if we could see the room before we check in and the front desk manager told me she is cancelling my reservation and I could find somewhere else to stay. We left and found a much better hotel for the night… This place is horrible. I’m still in shock about the cruel customer service. This wasn’t poor customer service it was CRUEL.

First off, BEDBUGS! My girlfriend and I just arrived home from a brief stay in room 230 and were covered with bedbug bites, 14 between the two of us. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Not only is the entire motel falling apart, they have obviously given up properly cleaning the linens after every customer.
Obviously the Bedbugs are the main concern. However, looking past this major detail, the person who checked us in was extremely rude and after reading other reviews it is hard to see how she still has a job. The elevator seems more like a death trap than anything else. And finally, the building maintenance as a whole is nonexistent; steps are crumbling all around and the balcony/​walkways seem to have an unnatural tilt to them.
All in all, don’t let the good location and cheap price draw you in. You would be better off sleeping in your rented car.

I’ve never been more shocked then today as I showed up to this hotel. They had me stay at their building across the street that looked like it had been closed down. The room is so dirty moldy and smells terrible. I brought my dad to a giants game and am super embarrassed. Do not stay here… You have been warned

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I could. The place was horrible. mold growing everywhere in the bathroom. LOTS broken tiles on the bathroom floor. 4 TV channels to choose from. horrible customer service, don’t even try asking a simple question! whole place smells bad. OH and the so called continental breakfast wasn’t there and when I asked if they had one, I was just told «sorry» with no real answer. One of the hotel website (not their direct one, so technically not their fault) said they had a pool and hot tub, which was one of our reasons for choosing, Didn’t have it! they don’t clean their hallways or stairs and walls are dirty. half of the doors in and out of the building don’t work.
only plus side was the free parking even though that was VERY limited as well!

Somebody broke into my car at night, took my iPad, Jacket and glasses. This was unbelievable to happen in hotels parking lot. Dont book this hotel!
The staff told me GTA is very common here!!! Very rude staff, cheap rooms way too cheap. Bad neighborhood.
