Seriously, Chewse is as good as it gets. They have gone above and beyond to make sure everyone at my office has delicious quality food to eat. They really care about building a good relationship with their vendors and clients and you can see it in the way the do business. My meal specialist, Laura, came the first couple of times just to make sure everything ran smoothly. She also always visits the office with cookies in hand! Could not recommend more, Chewse is a pleasure to work with.

Chewse has been so amazing that I created a Unilocal account just to write them a review! We have a standing weekly order with Chewse. They have made ordering lunch for the office incredibly simple!
Dan is our «meal specialist» and he is the best (and not just because he brought me a cupcake and sends me cookies)! Dan knows everything about my office, from how many people to order for, to our dietary restrictions, and he even keeps the accounting team happy by ordering within our budget. All I have to do is send Dan an email and he takes care of the rest, or I can login to the website and make my own changes (the website is very user friendly). Dan has even provided suggestions for out of the office dining, happy hours, and an on-​site BBQ company for a company event. He literally handles all of our food needs.
We have been using Chewse at our office for a few months now, and I haven’t heard one complaint from the team about the food. Every week we get a new place, that is absolutely delicious, and is delivered on time, every time! I was only going to try using Chewse for a month, but after the first week of working with Brandon to setup my account and then with Dan for our food preferences, we switched permanently. I cannot say enough good things about the team or their services!
To sum up my review, I have used a so many catering services and Chewse is the best!

I’m the office manager of a mid-​sized company in San Francisco and Chewse is my secret weapon. Staff meals would be absolutely impossible without their help. I cringe just thinking about what my life would be like without them.
Dan has taken such good care of us. He picks out quality meals from awesome restaurants again and again and again. In fact, I constantly get praise for his work, which I accept and quietly pass on to him :)
I honestly can’t say enough great things about Chewse. Everyone on the Chewse team works hard and you can tell they all care about what they do. I love that. And true story — I almost rescheduled my trip to Costa Rica so I could attend their housewarming party. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Having been an office manager for quite a few offices that have ranged in size, dietary restrictions, budget, and personalities, catering has never been easy. That said, I couldn’t put into words what an amazing experience its been working with Chewse for our catered lunches. We’d started out doing catering once a week for our group and the rotation of restaurants that Dan, our Chewse rep, had planned out for us constantly amazed our tastebuds. Dietary restrictions were spot on and even when they were experiencing technical difficulties, their team was INCREDIBLY responsive at getting dietary info for us right away (kudos to Ingrid!). There was one specific lunch that I recall where the food had arrived and appeared to be lacking in portions. I contacted Dan right away and he was amazing at getting more food delivered to us at lightning quick speed. Our team gets great food, their dietary restrictions met, at the right portions, and I get the best customer service. We now cater our lunches Monday-​Friday and Chewse has still done an amazing job at curating a delicious rotation of restaurants.
Another notable positive is their dashboard and menu calendar. It’s super simple to see the meals you have coming up, for what headcount, and the pricing of each meal. Any modifications to upcoming meals can also be done on the dashboard or through a rep directly but in either case, the process is simple and does have its timing restrictions.
In short, the customer support at Chewse is amazing and the ease of using service has been a game changer. They even send you cookies. Or their rep to deliver macarons. Feeding hungry people is not an easy job and I would highly recommend Chewse to take care of you and/​or your team!

The Chewse team is TOP notch. We’ve had two different account executives (Blake and Megan) and they have both been exceptional. Chewse has a great selection of restaurants and we’ve never had a bad meal. There have been times when I’ve contacted Chewse the day before, for a last minute order and they’ve not only been accommodating but also extremely pleasant.
We have a bunch of dietary restrictions and even when I forget to highlight them, our reps always ask!
My only qualm is that I wish our company was big enough so that I could use Chewse MORE.

Simply put, Chewse has an amazing hard working team that cares about their clients and food vendors. When we first started working with Chewse, they made it a point that we are working partners and want to work with us for a long time. That’s the first time a catering agency has approached us that way, which we were very appreciated and taken by it. They truly listen to your needs as a food partner and are open to different unique flavors of food. They are not afraid to push the envelope in having their customers try out different food. As a small catering company, there are many customers that don’t know us and we have hard time reaching out to them. By working with Chewse they have created a bridge and credibility for us to get in to doors of client that we couldn’t have otherwise. Immediately by working with Chewse they have increased our monthly sales. Most recently we are having our best months in sales ever. There ordering processes has made our company more streamlined as they communicate to their customers of what their exact needs are. So we can focus on what we do best. Which is to focus on making authentic delicious Indonesian Filipino food. We cannot thank them enough. In addition, they work really hard to work with customers with whatever dietary or budgetary needs. They are here to truly cater to all of your needs. They choose the best food vendors in the Bay Area with an emphasis on local healthy food. They even have nice labels for your food so there is no issues for what is in what for dietary restrictions. So to all those office managers and admins across the Bay Area. I highly recommend to give Chewse a shot to organize all of your catering office lunch needs.

Chewse is the best. It totally takes all the guesswork and planning out of our weekly staff lunches, which makes my job so much easier. There is a lot of variety and the food is consistently good. The menu planning that they do is such a time saver — and it’s all within our budget! I highly recommend using this service.

Chewse was and is an absolute life saver!
We have had a daily lunch program for 10 years and have always had to plan it our ourselves, which takes up more time than it really should! What a difference to be able to partner with a company that «get’s it». Get’s the nuances of providing food for 140 folks and all of their… quirky food likes and dislikes.
Megan is so great to work with and will contribute as much or as little as you need. She is also willing to go after restaurants we find and get them on the program!
I would highly recommend this service to anyone that has to order lunches for large groups. Let them take the pain and headache away, you won’t regret it. ;)

Chewse is awesome on a number of levels.
The short version — I save a bunch of time at work & tasty, varied food shows up when it’s supposed to.
The long version:
— Great selection of restaurants!
— Great meal planning by our rep, Megan — we have a bunch of parameters (no shellfish, vegetarians, no gluten except on Tuesdays when it’s raining — you know how it goes) and she’s able to compose meals for us that suit everyone’s needs.
— The food is family style as opposed to other services where individual employees place their own orders. In a perfect world, it would be nice to have everyone be able to order their own meal each day — however, in reality I had to harass most people to get their orders in on time, or let them just not have lunch (which is lame.) No bueno. This is much better because enough food for everyone magically appears without them individually having to do anything.
— The UI on the website is super simple & intuitive — meaning I can just figure out how to change stuff for our orders easily on the website.
— If I can’t figure it out, Megan is responsive and really nice. She’s also helped me out of a number of self-​imposed sticky spots in terms of timing, last minute changes, etc.
Overall — Chewse rocks.
Only little, tiny detail I’d change — more Asian restaurants available would be great. They have some & they’re great — just a few more would be nice.

The best thing to happen to our office! One of the biggest things I hate is ordering lunch for our entire office. It’s so time consuming and trying to please everyone is so hard. Chewse has been a life saver! I haven’t had to worry about deciding on lunch for months now! They are super easy to work with and lunch is completely taken care of. Chewse what would I do without you!

Chewse helped me in two enormous ways: 1. Made our (3 times a week) lunch at our office (of 45 people) HEADACHE-​FREE for me. 2. Allowed me to focus more on my work duties, instead of having to allocate 30 – 45 minutes per day on lunch.
The staff @ Chewse could not be more friendly and accommodating. ALWAYS available for a call and incredibly receptive to last-​minute menu and/​or headcount changes.

Chewse is the best company that has come into my life! When I first started ordering catered lunches for my office, I ran into so many obstacles that made my day stressful! After my first order with Chewse I knew I could never go back to ordering lunches on my own. Chewse really takes the thinking out of ordering. It can be very difficult to get the right proportions, choose the right cuisine and continuously make your office happy. Chewse does just that, they always order enough food, they provide tasty varieties, and they even set up your lunches on their meal dashboard a month in advance! I’ve been using Chewse for about half a year now, and it makes life so much easier. I’m an office manager in charge of ordering catered food for 65 people every week. Chewse makes it easy by making menus for me weeks in advance from local restaurants (although they are capable of changing orders with short notice).
I let them know what our office prefers; we have a lot of picky eaters and special diets (Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, pescatarian, you name it), and they are great at accommodating.
I work with Blake, my contact over at Chewse, who is very understanding and picks great places. They make sure the delivery is on time to set up, the tip is taken care of, and the portions are a good size. It really makes it one less thing that I have to worry about with a busy office.

I have been using Chewse as a catering provider for almost a year and it has been nothing short of easy, prompt and awesome! I am the catering coordinator for a company that caters lunch to the office everyday for 45 people so I am always looking for ways to mix up the variety and also have easy access to an abundance of options; Chewse does exactly that. The best part about this service is the easy ordering process. Here’s how it works: you are assigned a log in and password and a «meal specialist» that will plan all your meals according to your guidelines (# of people, budget, taste, etc.). You are able to have meals planned out a month or two in advance (maybe more) and you are able to makes changes as needed up until the deadline (usually 2 days before). It seriously has been a life changer for my job. I have only worked with Megan, so I can’t speak for anyone else there, but she is extremely efficient and helpful.

As an office manager at my company, food ordering can get a little stressful since you want to make sure you’re offering variety well within your budget. Because of this I’m incredibly thankful to have worked with Chewse for quite some time — it really makes food ordering stress-​free for me.
What’s even better about Chewse is that working with them is extremely easy as well. They are extremely flexible with all my company’s dietary needs — and we have quite a few -, not to mention, their customer service is top notch (I mean they sent me token of appreciation for being an office manager and handling food ordering for goodness sakes!).

I use Chewse for my weekly office lunches. They are a great resource! I used to have to find local vendors by myself and ended up picking the same vendor every week, which got to be a bit boring. Chewse provides variety along with excellent customer service! We have a few employees in the office that are GF and require a certain diet and with Chewse, all of our needs are met!
