Chasing Tail

My bulldog mix, Guff, has been going on daily pack adventures with Ally for the last 6 months now, and both he and I are totally thrilled with the experience. He gets lots of exercise and socialization, and I get to know he’s being active and having fun while I’m at work.
I even get to watch along on Instagram, which is a bonus! I love seeing Guff play with the other dogs in his pack, and all the pet parents commenting on our pups’ Chasing Tail outings feel like an extended community.
This Christmas, Guff also boarded with Ally for a week while I was traveling home to the East Coast. As a bulldog, Guff can be high-​maintenance. He likes a lot of attention and also needs meds for his eyes, dietary supplements, and extra grooming for his face folds. Ally took really great care of him, and he enjoyed all the extra activity he got with the other dogs.
On top of it all, Chasing Tail’s rates are extremely reasonable – especially for the level of service Ally provides. A lot of other dog care services in the area charge similarly or higher for a short walk or «daycare» that requires you to drop off/​pick up your dog, who doesn’t even get to go outside! Ally picks Guff up, drops him off, and has even changed her route on hot days so Guff (and his bulldog breathing issues) doesn’t have to spend more time in the heat than absolutely necessary. And there are multiple invoicing options which makes paying for all this super convenient.
I don’t know what Guff and I would do without Ally and Chasing Tail!

Chasing Tail is the best dog walkers I’ve ever had! They care for my little beast as if he was there own. I also have a mixed work schedule and they are flexible and accommodating. Ally and Pete also happen to be really nice people, so basically it’s a win win situation for you and your dog. Ally is the greatest! Our 8 month old puppy LOVES going on walks with her and the other dogs in her pack. He is beside himself with excitement when she arrives to pick him up. We really appreciate Ally’s sensitivity to his development, safety and wellbeing. We first met her at SF Puppy Prep, where she had the role of picking our puppy up at our home, taking him to daycare, working with puppies there, then returning him to our home. We feel really lucky that she decided to return to dog walking fulltime. We could not ask for a better or nicer person to look after our dog. She has also taken care of him when we have traveled, and it was obvious that he had a great experience. We feel completely confident leaving him in her care. She runs her business in a very professional manner, with the added bonus of photos and videos posted on her website.

Chasing Tail is simply the best! I feel like my lil guy is well taken care of in the hands of Ally. She is so nurturing, caring and accommodating. She listens to my frustrations of managing a puppy and is always so reassuring =) I am so happy that we have Ally and I know my pup is thrilled with her.

Ally did a terrific job taking care of my kitty (Mango) this past weekend as my boyfriend and I were out of town getting some much needed R&R. My cat has been called «fiesty» by many (and usually hisses at people when she first meets them). I knew Ally was an animal person right away when my cat did not go with her typical M.O. upon meeting Ally but continued to repose on the bed (like the princess she is) as if Ally were someone she already knew and trusted.
Ally is responsible, fun, personable and professional. I am definitely planning to use Ally again for any future trips we may go on!

My Boston Terrier Rosie can be quite a terror and has an uncanny amount of energy. Allys services have made my life easier over the past month. She is super sweet, patient and above all, professional and punctual. Thanks Again Ally:)

I have a very hyperactive dog and using Chasing Tail’s services has changed my life. I used to come home to an anxious puppy who chewed up my shoes and furniture while I was at work. Now, after his long play/​walk sessions with Ally, I come home to a calmer, well exercised dog. As the owner of a particularly difficult puppy, I’m so grateful there is someone like Ally out there who can deal with him and love him as much as I do!
