History
Established in 2006.
In the early 1990’s Dr. Robert Melillo began seeing a marked increase in children with learning and behavioral issues visiting his practice. Parents were concerned and desperate to help their children. This was the beginning of a passionate journey for Dr. Melillo as he developed the Brain Balance Program. His goal was to design a highly effective, drug-free program that could counter the rapid rise of developmental disorders. Once Dr. Melillo validated the efficacy of his program, he felt compelled to make it available to as many children as possible. There are currently 85 centers nationwide. Since 2006, Brain Balance Achievement Centers has helped thousands of children, ages four through seventeen, reach their academic, social and behavioral potential through its drug-free, holistic approach.
Meet the Manager
Kimberli S.
Manager
Kimberli is originally from Texas. Growing up, she realized, first hand, the daunting challenges having a learning disability could be. She knew early on she would want to be a part of a solution that could assist all children struggling. After graduating, and studying nutrition she realized the undeniable connection between nutrition and learning disabilities. Now, her love for helping children coupled with her passion for families to experience new avenues to peace and learning, becoming the manager of Brain Balance in San Francisco was a serendipitous and natural fit. She also has a nephew on a Brain Balance program that has made great advances in the life and family of this child.
Kimberli has been the Center Director at Brain Balance for about a year now, where she delights in helping families and seeing the transformations of frustrated, struggling children become able to master coping skills and learning skills as well as experience positive life-changing results.
