Business Owner

Beth Daecher, principal designer of bd home, founded her San Francisco firm after completing a full-​scale renovation of her own Noe Valley home. Formally trained in engineering at Cornell University and interior design at the University of California, Berkeley, Beth spent 10 years as a director in high-​tech firms before refocusing on her passion for design.

Amidst the dust and construction of her own remodel, Beth found herself enthralled with the process of creating a residence tailored to fit her family’s needs. While fine-​tuning existing drawings and sourcing products, Beth discovered that her personal renovation was a full-​time job that suited her perfectly. Along with a thoughtful eye for creating beautiful spaces, Beth credits her experience working in the corporate world with making bd home a success for over a decade.
