Dom is a true artist! He and his team did a spectacular job on our wedding, going above and beyond at every step. I was referred to him through our photographer, initially. He met with us first before the wedding, discussed his video options and showed us some of his work. He was professional and very clear about the process. He made it a point to ask us about the special moments to focus on in our ceremony and reception. He also asked about our loved ones who we would want to make sure ended up in the wedding video. I paid about a 50% deposit and signed the contract to pay the remainder once the editing and finished product were done.
On the day of, his team was on time, professional, and very skilled. With so much going on during the wedding day, we couldn’t even tell they were there filming at times; they were very subtle and on top of their game. The final product was done a few months later and I was able to meet Dom to pick up the DVDs. He had edited them and had done so much more than expected. Every take was very artistically done. The music selection we provided was used perfectly and it really enhanced the story we were trying to tell. I am so excited to share the video with all of my family and friends! Dom and his talented team did an incredible job with our wedding video. I loved that even though they filmed the entire event, I did not even notice they were there. Dom and his team were easily the most stress free part of our wedding planning and wedding day. Even though our package only called for 3 videographers, Dom brought a 4^th to make sure he didn’t miss a moment. We didn’t even notice him and his team were there. They captured everything from multiple angles, but I never felt their presence!
The result was amazing. Dom spent countless hours editing footage, giving us a beautiful trailer, highlight film, and full day video that my family and I have probably watched 20 – 30 times already. I couldn’t be happier with the footage.
Dom and his team were the absolute best. I would recommend them to anyone and I would know they are in be best hands.

Dom and his team are incredibly talented. On the day of the wedding, they were never in the way and we basically forgot they were there, so all the footage they captured feels super natural.
We got the gold package, which included multiple hours of edited footage on DVDs, awesome trailer and highlights videos, and a «fun film» lip sync music video that we had a blast filming on the wedding day (and even more fun watching later!), plus raw footage. We got 3 copies of the DVDs, which is perfect for sharing with parents. The DVDs have our photos on them, and we got to choose all of the background music, so everything feels very personalized.
And the videos are AMAZING! The editing work is incredible. They really capture the love and joy of the day, and our story. They caught everything from big moments to little moments, and all of our family and friends have had tears in their eyes while watching them. It took a couple of months to get the footage back (1 – 2 months for the trailer and then ~6 months for the rest of the footage), but Dom was responsive throughout, and it was totally worth the wait.
We initially weren’t sure whether to even have a videographer because of the cost but can now say that it was worth every penny and we are so, so happy to have the videos, which we know we’ll watch and cherish for so many years to come. We feel so fortunate to have had Dom & his team as our videographers, and are recommending him to everyone we know!

I have never written a Unilocal review before but I have to write one for Dom and his team because of their amazing work!
When you first meet Dom for a consult, you immediately feel comfortable with him-​he is so easy to talk to. He sincerely wants to learn about the two of you in order to help him make the best video he possibly can. He listens to every request you make and follows through.
I was so surprised at the amount of footage his team got because on the day of, you don’t even realize that they are there. They were very good at capturing moments without you feeling like they were in the way or in your face.
When it came to editing, Dom lets you choose your own music for your videos. He breaks down the day into chapters and does a wonderful job of editing the footage to capture the emotion to go with the customized music. If you aren’t happy with anything, he will edit it until you are completely satisfied with the final cut.
All in all, Dom and his team went above and beyond what I anticipated for my wedding video and I would recommend them to anyone. We love our videos so much!

We are so lucky to be able have Dom and dis team of ninjas as our videographer for our Hello Kitty & Transformer wedding. We are two people with a very unique and fun story to tell and Dom was able to capture all of that and then some.
For our wedding, I didn’t want to exceed our budget and spend too much so I decided not to have videography just photography for our wedding. But a friend of ours said that her kids love watching their wedding videos because it capture a moment in time when they were not around. That got me thinking that a videographer may fit into our budget. I set about looking for a videographer like anyone else by Unilocaling. After seeing his videos and his webpage, I contacted him 2 months before the wedding. I didn’t have much hope we would be able to work with him since our wedding date is extremely popular (⁸⁄₈), but my luck held and the rest is wedding history that I KNOW our future kids will love to watch over and over again.
The most important part to any highlight film is to be able to have great music, great editing and a great group of characters. I know we have great characters. We also chose music that spoke to the both of us. But it was ONLY through Dom’s awesome editing skills that brought everything together so seamlessly. Our first time watching our highlight video made the two of us have tears in our eyes — can’t wait for our family and friends do the same.

Prior to planning all the the details of our wedding, there’s one thing we are certain about that is bound to happen «for sure we want Bay Area vdo production» to be our videographer on our wedding day. I was already a fan of Dom’s work eversince, I enjoyed watching all the stories of couples Dom worked with, wishing someday, somehow I’ll be one of them. One day, all my thoughts and dreams became reality.
We met Dom and we love love love this guy!!! He accommodated us like family, so comfortable to work with. You can just be you!!! That’s one thing you always want to look for in choosing a videographer, where you can be «YOU». My now-​husband and I kept going back and forth on whether or not to spend the not-​inconsiderable amount that a wedding DVD package costs. Finally, we decided that we really wanted that memento of our big day, and hired Bay Area VDO. We couldn’t have made a better decision.
Dom and his team arrived promptly at both locations where we were getting ready, and followed us to the wedding venue. They captured every moment from our first look to our last dance, and yet never felt intrusive. A couple months later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a link to the trailer for our video. The 4-​minute clip was beautiful and touching; it even moved my boss to tears when she saw it.
We ordered the Gold package, and were thrilled when we received it. Every special moment from the day was in there, mixed with music we had selected. Best of all, we were able to take a DVD with us at Thanksgiving so my grandparents (whose health had precluded them from traveling to the wedding) could watch it. A treasured memory of watching treasured memories.
Dom and his team are professional, personable, and passionate about their work. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Wow. These guys are phenomenal, for the following reasons:
1. They are not only professional, but personable. Dom and his crew were easy to talk to and understanding that we needed to balance a million things on our wedding day. They were not intrusive but still were able yo work hard to get the results we wanted. Dom worked with us prior to the wedding to make sure we would get the movie we wanted.
2. They are timely and follow through on expectations. They worked with us to create a package that met our personal needs and were flexible with us when we needed them to be.
3. THE RESULTS! Our movie was an absolute work of art. It captured the day perfectly, and there were shots in the movie I did not remember anyone taking, but were very important to us. The edited movie looked like it was straight out of hollywood. Almost every person at our wedding was represented, and it screamed us.
We would recommend Dom and his team to anyone in the Bay Area. We had our wedding in Sebastapol and they were willing to travel and did not upcharge us unfairly because of it. These guys rock!!!

We went with Dom and his team at Bay Area VDO for our July 2014 wedding in Pleasanton and we could not be happier! Finding a videographer was something I definitely wanted for our wedding but my husband was very hesitant. I tried convincing him that it was worth it but he still wasn’t taking… until we met Dom. I asked that he come with me to our consultation appointment with Dom and after we left, he was convinced. It wasn’t the price tag, the package offer, or even that he wanted to relive our wedding day anytime he wanted after it was over. It was Dom’s passion and love for what he does that got him.
Dom takes pride in catching all the details in your wedding day and making sure they are shown at their full potential before sending you home with your DVD. He tells a story and puts forth all of the emotion and love that comes with the wedding we planned for almost a year. My husband and I are the kind of people who get nervous in front of cameras and hate looking at photos/​videos of ourselves. When it came down to having to find a videographer for our wedding, we did so reluctantly — we didn’t love the thought of having cameras follow us around all day, but we knew we had to have a video for our wedding!
Enter Dom. We were referred to him by our photographer, and his ratings on Unilocal looked very promising. Sure enough, these Unilocal ratings do not lie!
Upon our first meeting with Dom, we immediately loved his passion and energy. He truly cares about his work, and takes time to get to know the people he’s working with. After spending a few hours with him, my husband and I immediately left just knowing that we wanted to work with him. He’s such a wonderful person, and you definitely want awesome people surrounding you on your wedding day. He’s also one of the few videographers that offers a lot of video footage (4+ hours), and with our wedding being a really long day (Catholic wedding + long reception), it was important for us to see as much as we could.
As for our wedding day, Dom and his crew were absolute professionals. Again, I get the awkward «deer in headlights» look when I see a camera pointing at me, but his crew did such a great job being on the periphery that I didn’t even notice! I also distinctly recall when we transitioned from our ceremony venue at St. Mary’s Cathedral to Embarcadero for some post-​wedding photos, and we were impressed with how well they kept on top of things. Driving through the city can be a pain, but they hopped out of a car just at the same time we pulled up and didn’t miss a second!
We just received our videos from Dom last night, and we love them. He is incredibly talented and thoughtful with his work. I don’t know why I was nervous that we didn’t give him enough «good» footage to make a decent video. Dom is a pro, and he filmed so many key moments and edited it together beautifully that it reminded us that every dollar and every minute spent on the wedding was worth it. When I saw the highlight video, I started tearing up. The video was perfect and captured all of the love and fun from the day, including many moments that we didn’t get to see ourselves. (Oh look! We actually were smiling before we starting crying down the aisle!)
We’ve already watched all the footage once through and can’t wait to watch it again with our family and friends. He’s also packaged it beautifully with menus, our favorite songs, and DVD labels.
One more thing to note: Dom provides the final video about 6 months after the wedding (which is also when you provide final payment). Be patient — it’s worth it! Don’t rush true artistry.

The final product turned out beautiful — all organized with chapters from each moment of our wedding. Most of all, we loved the highlight video, which includes a seamless video summary of our wedding that plays with the song of our choice. We were able to share it with all our family and friends.
One of the biggest regrets that most couples have after the wedding is done is not hiring a wedding videographer. Trust me, it’s well worth it.
