My year-​long search for a sofa sleeper is officially over! I was so happy to finally find the perfect sleeper in Avetex Furniture store. Perfect quality and versatility. The sleeper has a firm spring mattress instead of a standard foam you find in most futons. Marina and Irina were so attentive to our requests, called the manufacturer to make sure that they could produce the special-​order item. Our custom fabric request increased the cost of the sofa by a mere $ 100, way cheaper than we could expect. Free delivery was another plus. When we mentioned that we were searching for a new media cabinet, Irina researched and e-​mailed several reasonably-​priced pieces that she thought could work for us. Tight in space, this little store has an extensive website with great selection.

I worked with both Marina and Irina to find the perfect couch and kitchen table for our apartment and I could not be more happy with the results. Both women were AMAZING. Marina’s passion for décor and knowledge in the furniture business was unlike any retail experience I have had before. I came to her with room dimensions and she helped me sketch out and plan each room down to the decorative pillows! I spent weeks trolling the Internet, big name brand retailers and other mom and pop shops and I was lucky enough to find the right match. Irina is patient and receptive and completely dedicated herself to helping us find what we were looking for. I came in 3 times before making a decision and not once did I feel pushed or pressured. She made the purchasing and delivery process a breeze. Also I should add that their prices are very competitive considering the quality of furniture and service you receive. We still need a few more pieces and I am definitely planning on returning. I love my new furniture and can’t thank you guys enough! I highly recommend you seek their business. Look past the euro-​furniture displays and talk to them directly and you will not be disappointed.
Also I should mention unlike any other furniture retailer I have come across their delivery and assembly was free! Their delivery boys came within 20 mins of their ETA!

I had put off buying a new couch for a LONG time because it seemed like such a daunting process. The staff at Avetex made it totally painless. I walked in, was greeted by Marina the owner, she showed me things and answered questions, but not in a pushy way. When I settled on the couch I wanted she worked with me to get a delivery time for the next day– which was free since I am in the SF! The delivery went over just as smoothly as the purchasing. Super nice guys came and took away my old couch, assembled and placed my new one in my living room. This was nothing like the process I was imagining. Fantastic experience all around!

By far one of the best furniture shopping experiences ever! First, their website had good pictures, great collection, and all prices listed. Once i found what i wanted, I went to their store to check for the bed I was looking for. I loved what I saw in the store. There, I met Ksenia who volunteered to help me find what I was looking for. She was very nice and extremely helpful. She made the experience so easy and gave me some tips on choosing the right color and ultimately gave me a great price. On the day when Avetex Furniture delivered my bed, I was very surprised that the delivery guys were as friendly as the sales rep. They helped me by moving my new bed around until I was satisfied with the positioning. Moreover, the delivery was fast and free. I’m so happy that I chose Avetex Furniture and I will definitely buy from them in the future, they got themselves a loyal customer now!

The sales associates were very knowledgeable, patient, polite and professional.
Sales person Irina introduced us with the very good brand — Brown Stone, explained us all pluses of that brand; she gave us all complete information on the materials, finishes, quality of that furniture. We could see some items by Brown Stone on the floor in the show-​room, we liked it a lot. Avetex is carrying huge variety of wonderful furniture brands.
That helped us to make right decision to buy our first bedroom and dining set, high quality and beautiful.
We still love our Brown Stone furniture for that unique stylish design, for the solid wood construction, for its quality.
One more good moment about Avetex — they make free delivery and free assembling in San Francisco and 50 miles around. We live on East Bay, and Avetex goes with free delivery/​assembling service to our area each Tuesday.
Delivery guys were very professional, friendly; they even used special shoes-​covers when entering our house!
It was important for us because we just got the new hard-​wood floors around the house. We did not want the floor to be damaged or scratched during the furniture delivery.
One slight upsetting moment about that first furniture delivery: the guys were about 30 minutes later than original schedule (they apologized; it was an awful traffic on freeway).
But their fast and professional service compensated that minus absolutely…
Since then we ordered furniture from Avetex couple more times.
We appreciate Avetex’ sales persons for complete and full attention to us, for real assistance. They were working with us also as the designers, helping us with picking up the correct furniture-​size, appropriate color-​finish according to our home-​interiors.
I strongly recommend to by furniture from Avetex.
I will buy from them again when time comes to buy another furniture.

I have been a customer of Avetex Furniture for a very long time, and thought I’d share my nothing short of wonderful experience with the company. Starting with a unique and tasteful selection, easy to navigate website, incredible showroom, knowledgeable and friendly staff, quality of furniture, speed of delivery, and overall customer service have always been beyond expectations. My entire house is Avetex — proof, and rarely I have guests that fail to ask where I got such stylish furniture from?! I have vested my full trust into amazing Avetex staff with selection help and quality of what they offer! Definitely a keeper!

I went to the store looking for this bed:
They don’t carry the majority of the beds in store, but I got to speak to a lady there and she gave me the price. I ordered it via e-​mail with her after returning home. Placing an order via e-​mail was easy and convenient.
They kept me updated via email regarding when the delivery was expected. They deliver on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays at a 2 hour time window that the customers pick. The delivery and the assembly was included in the price of the bed which is so awesome.
I selected Friday 5 – 6 pm window. The store confirmed the timeslot 24 hours in advance with me. However, the delivery guys didn’t notify me that they were running late and came at 7:30 pm instead. The store was unable to reach the delivery guys too when the store tried calling them to find out where they were. The delivery guys called me at 7:10 pm asking me if I was still available for them to come by. They were really nice guys. They made sure the do it fast. It took 20 minutes for them to bring it up, assemble and take out the boxes/​trash with them. They didn’t scratch anything in my building or in our condo. Besides the late delivery, everything was well done. I highly recommend Avetex.
I love my bed, it’s very modern and comfortable. It is exactly as it is shown in the pics. There are 2 additional legs (besides the steel frame) that are in the middle of the bed which are attached to the bed frame. They are white in color. However, you can’t see them when you are looking at the bed. So it’s not a big deal!

It is a complete joy to do business with Avetex furniture. We have been buying furniture from them for a couple of years already. Every time when we come to their store we are treated very good and after talking to both Irina and Marina we are very happy with the price and the product knowledge that they have. They also help you find the best stuff they you need, and will also give you an advice regarding the design of place. The choice of the furniture is big, prices are reasonable, delivery is fast.

Buyer Beware– desk came, looking nothing like photo, but having waited so long… installers did not tell me leg was missing decorative detail, they told me to not move desk and then forgot to leave the glass top.
I later noticed a nick in the leather, but let it go. I tried to move the desk and it collapsed over one leg. I called company who told me I would need to pay ~ 200.00 to have same installers come to fix it.
I alerted Amex who agreed desk was not as it should be for the price 3k. But because I signed saying it was okay at delivery, I’m stuck with it. Please do not use this company. Had I bought it from Neiman or Horchow, I could have returned it no questions asked.
I don’t know how Irena and the rest of them sleep at night. I have photos of all including a video of desk wobbling!

Buyer be wary. This is a bait and switch operation. I tried to buy 5 different couch sets that were showing as available on their website and NONE were available. Some were even showing the discount ADDED (not subtracted) from the standard prices. They then sent me pictures of what they wanted to sell me but could not provide any details (size, weight, detailed construction info, etc.) and the items were not on their web site. They also make up fake list prices and then provide a big discount percentage. I found EVERYTHING I was interested in at other reputable sites at much lower prices then their «sale» price. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

This review is specifically for Irina. Over the past few months, she really went above and beyond to help my parents pick out furniture for our new house. We purchased bedroom furniture, living room furniture, and artwork from the store and so far have been impressed with the appearance and quality of the items. Irina was incredibly professional, frequently followed up, and provided candid advice. Thanks to this store and particularly to Irina, we have some outstanding pieces in our new home and have received multiple compliments from people visiting.

I’ve ordered from this place about 3 years ago and was not happy with service. I wanted to give this place a 2^nd chance and my god they literally have not changed. My furniture was delivered with a torn loveseat and I was having a birthday party the next day. I asked if I can keep the loveseat until they swap it for a new one and manager said oh no its policy they have to take it to switch it out for me. Well that’s bullshit it’s not my fault it was torn. And they were giving me excuses that it’s not their fault… they were not apologetic understanding and willing to even care about how I felt. Then they wanted me to wait 2 weeks for it because they only deliver once a week in my area. I spent 4k and to be honest they did not deserve my business. There are other places that have beautiful modern furniture. We were very disappointed with it all!!! I don’t recommend this place at all!!!

Delivered on time, assembled fast, very good service.
The girls called to verify everything ahead, they made sure I will have the sofa in time within the apartment even though the ordered color was not available.

I just purchased an awesome, modern dining set with a table and four chairs at a really affordable price. The delivery went smoothly and the new item looks wonderful in my home. I am so happy to have used Avetex for my purchase and I cannot speak highly enough of their service. Thank you!

Haggle, haggle, haggle! If you know how to bargain, this is a good place to shop. Be careful as some things have Italian names but are made in China, but you definitely can find Italian made furniture. Irina is great. She’s creative and has great design ideas. They have 2 showrooms with a good variety of furniture but also an array of catalogues to choose from. We’ve purchased items from this store throughout the years and will continue to do so.

Definitely don’t count on seeing what you see in these pictures in the showroom. We drove from walnut creek in hopes to see a sectional we saw on their website only to find a selection of maybe 2 – 3 sectionals, nothing like you see in these pics.
I wouldn’t waste time going there in hopes to see something you want to buy. If the case is ordering through a website anyways, I would rather buy from online vendor and save money. If they had better selection they would of perhaps earned my business.

We have visited the store today and experienced very friendly and cordial service provided by sales personnel. All three ladies Ksenia, Tatyana, and Irene were very knowledgeable and help us (and not force us) to select and buy for very reasonable price two pieces of furniture we were looking for. We are planning to buy few more items in near future.
The whole experience was in stark dissonance with our recent visit to a similar store which name we are not going to even mentioned.

Global furniture is a good quality brand with modern design. I like the pictures in their website and try to find a showroom to see it real. It takes me a long time to find Avetex Furniture which has lots samples from Global furniture. I bought it from Avetex Furniture. The sales person are helpful, she said the business is opened for 15 years. The price I got is also good, the more you buy, the better price you got.
I also like the delivery of Avetex furniture. On time and assembled everything for me without extra charge.
They also have a very nice website you can browse.

I have been shopping around for a Calligaris table and chairs for sometime and was ready to purchase one online until I came upon a site from a local San Francisco retailer that was selling it for $ 50 more than what was stated online. I really wanted to see the items for myself before making any decisions.
I came into Avetex to see the item first hand and wanted to see if they would be willing to give me a price match. I ended up buying it from the store, not only did they give me a price lower than what was stated online, but having them be a local retailer gave me great piece of mind! The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and really a pleasure to deal with.
Delivery was as simple as the purchase. They came during the stated time frame and even placed extra pads under the table legs and chair because I have hardwood floors and they did not want to scratch them– really shows that they care about their customers.
I will definitely come back to Avetex for all my furniture needs. They have a large stylish selection of modern furniture in the showroom as well as dozens of catalogs to flip through. It was a pleasure doing business with you!!!

I am giving Avetex 4 stars based on the quality of their service, which we were very pleased with. Unfortunately, the sofa we purchased from this store wasn’t what we wanted and it was returned. Thanks to their excellent service, this matter was quickly resolved.
Our story, in short: We were shopping online for a larger sectional sofa, and my husband found one at Avetex. One weekend we visited their showroom, hoping that we would be able to see the sofa we were interested in. Their showroom is fairly small and divided in two locations — and the sofa we wanted was not in stock. The sales people showed us other sofas from the same manufacturer and we decided to order our sofa sight unseen, based on the pretty good quality of the sofas we did see.
As our sofa was coming overseas from the manufacturer, we had to wait several weeks to receive it. Every contact we had with the Avetex staff was courteous and all of the promises of returned phone calls and estimated arrival dates were honored. Even the delivery guys were friendly, prompt, and efficient (we were VERY happy with the quality of the delivery service).
Unfortunately, the sofa we received, while the correct one, was in my opinion of lower quality than the floor models that we saw in the showroom. I admit that it was our mistake to order a large piece of furniture sight unseen, and had I been shown a swatch of the upholstery fabric along with the catalog photo, I would not have ordered it as our main problem was with the fabric and the quality of the upholstery.
We decided that the sofa was not for us within the 72 hour return window, and everyone at Avetex was good about working with me when I sent them photos of the upholstery details and with my return request in general. It did take several days for the delivery personnel to pick up the sofa, but once they did we received our refund (minus restocking fee) immediately. No complaints.
I am very sorry that the sofa didn’t work for us, but I would recommend Avetex to anyone on the merits of their service. I would advise that folks try to buy from the stock they have on hand — try before you buy, and think twice about special ordering, especially if you can’t preview the actual fabric.
