My Flower Shop

The owner went out of his way to correct a situation that was caused by the delivery person. My flowers were replaced with a beautiful, fresh arrangement. Mistakes happen, but it is how a person handles the negative that reflects their character. Rich, the owner, is a kind man with a great charater. Thank you. I look forward to using this shop again.

Awesome florist! I called for a last minute bouquet and balloon order. I basically just told the man the colors and price I want to pay… and said that I would pick it up within 30 mins after running some errands. He had it ready and it was exactly what I wanted within the price point stated. Perfect! I will order all of my floral needs from him from now on.

I called about 3pm on a Friday needing 2doz gladioli and 4doz red standard roses… ASAP. They were able to have the flowers and deliver them by 10am Saturday, saving me a great big hassle and the party I was ordering for, a great big disappointment!
The service person was courteous, efficient and very helpful.

I’m sure my husband spent good money on a delivery of flowers for me from this place and there are 3 roses that are completely bloomed and I’m sure going to die in a day or so, two stems of daisies and the rest is filler. So disappointing. Don’t waste your money

Other reviews are right! This is a scam! My boyfriend ordered my mom flowers for Mother’s Day while I was in SF. I first got a phone call on Mother’s Day from the flower shop saying they couldn’t deliver. Are you kidding me you want me to go pick up the flowers when the purchased was already for delivery?
My boyfriend spent $ 76 for a bouquet of tulips and after speaking to the guy and telling him it’s his responsibility to deliver the flowers, he finally delivered them at 4:30pm which is pretty late for a Mother’s Day present. And they look nothing like the picture! They looked rushed and small!
Don’t use them! These people suck!!!

The orchards you delivered to my husband in the hospital were, and still are, beautiful. I look forward to having these bloom in the house for a long time – but also have the pleasure of kowing they will rebloom next year. Thank you Rich for the fast thoughtful delivery.

5 days later and my flowers still look brand new and alive!
They survived the weekend with me gone most of the time and no water changes. Daisy, carnations, and rose petals are still fresh! :)!!

Worst experience ever. My first time getting flowers delivered and I cannot be less impressed. I got a call today at 9:40am from the flower delivery person stating that they were outside my apartment. I went outside and found nobody there. Turns out they were trying to deliver to an avenue instead of a street. This started a three hour wait for my flowers. I decided to stick around because I don’t have a doorman so without me being home, I could never get the delivery.
The flowers are awful. They look completely old and some of the roses are already starting to drop petals — completely droopy and browned on the edges.
This is so disappointing. I have tried calling the business to complain, but their phone is constantly busy. Also, the card they sent over was waterlogged, crumpled and browning. They ought to be ashamed.

I received flowers on my birthday from My Flower Shop and they were not the freshest. However, I called to let them know and they delivered a new fresh bouquet the very next day and also wrote me a nice note apologizing for the first batch. I thought that was very considerate of them and the flowers look great.

Great flower shop. I’ve patronized this placed for several years and each time they’ve always exceeded my expectations, and had my order ready before I get there. Eric does a wonderful job. Thank you.

5 Stars for convenience and ease. Selection was quite nice as well. I stopped in her on Mother’s day [though not to buy flowers for my Moms, they were for my LADYfriend], and it was a very pleasant experience to say the least. Inexpensive and they had the Lilies that I was looking for. Overall I would go back after dealing with some other Geary Blvd Florist who gave me some headaches and were inconsistent in their pricing.

I received a gorgeous flower arrangement from My Flower Shop, sent from my man. A few weeks later, I need to send a get well bouqet to my colleague, so figured I’d check these guys out. I ordered online through them, didn’t know it was their FTD connection and my order ended up ‘lost’ in FedEx, oddly. Rich steps in and totally goes the extra mile to make sure my friend gets her flowers. His service and attitude goes above and beyond!

Wow… just finished reading the reviews for this place and since I’m on the receiving line… I can’t really complain much.
Here’s the back story: *friend* told me that he called this company numerous times to see if the flowers had been delivered since he knew I was planning on leaving work early that day. They were very patient and understanding and tolerant of his calls… that was a plus to him =)
The flowers were ok… I wouldn’t say the freshest flowers ever BECAUSE it was a hot day. It’s not there fault. Weather issues. It was during the heatwave so I could understand if the flowers were a little dried up.
Presentation was nice… so overall looking forward to the next one… =) thanks in advance.

I am so sorry for any flower shop that have to accomodate to a customer that have very crappy budgets and still complaints about how their flowers was not wrap pretty and who complaints about how they should run their stores? I don’t get it and I am also dumbfoounded about why they will complaints about a bouqute that they had just received with wrong type of flowers and on top of that they got another freakin bouquet for free? I mean IT“S FOR FREE a second time around. Atleast they tried to make up for their wrong doing.

I mean have these people ever gone to a flowers markets and see what they charge you there? On top of that some of the flowers that you see in a picture on line or where ever is sometimes are not available in certain time of year. Do they know how much it would cost to especially order it for a 150.00 dollars order only? It takes a lot to run a small business and on top of that to have people who are so ignorant and love to rant about something that they get for free or the budgets is so low that to have something wrap so pretty will cost exactly 3 bucks. And that is Just for the wrapping alone. I used to work in a flower shop and we are talking about high end store with flowers that cost more than your TV. If you ever go into a flower shop make sure that you don’t have some stupid budget like 3 bucks or have the nerve to complain about something that you got twice and second times was free. By the way I happen to think that these people are nice and friendly and for what they offered with their little tiny store with not much fancy Hoo HA, I am not going to complain because you pay for what you get. So don’t be cheap and blame someone else for your cheap style.

We haven’t shopped them but someone gave us a gift from them. They delivered a plant to us while we were away on vacation, and after leaving 2 phone messages on our phone, they just left the plant outside our door — where of course it was stolen by someone walking by. We called them again and they said they would re-​deliver a new plant and would call us before coming by. This afternoon we opened our front door for another reason and found the plant there — no phone call, no ring of the doorbell, nothing! Two stars for not following through on the promise to call and for leaving a poor defenseless plant on the street twice! Would have been one star, but the plant itself is beautiful.

I haven’t been on the purchasing end with this company, but as a lucky flowers recipient (thanks, bf!), I am thoroughly impressed. I received a bouquet of pink lilies, white gerbera daises, pink carnations and red roses, plus two balloons. They brightened up my birthday and are making my office smell great!

I used this florist for my wedding on Treasure Island in November 2007. First of all, everyone in the shop was very friendly and worked with me in detail with my to make sure I got what I wanted. From the colors of the flowers, shape of vases, style of bouquets… basically there wasn’t a detail that we didn’t discuss.
The cost was very reasonalble, and the service was very impressive. They were on time at the ceremony site, helped set up the alter pieces (which were beautiful), and made sure that the appropriate bridal party attendents had their flowers.
Flowers are such a huge part of what makes a wedding in my opinion, a bride wants everything to be as close to perfects as possible. I must say, I got exactly what I requested, I couldn’t have asked for more. The flowers were so beautiful (white orchids, and other great varieties) that my guests were requesting to take them home. THANK YOU MY FLOWER SHOP for making the flowers for my wedding so perfect, and thank you for being so easy to work with. It was one less thing to stress about during a hectic time in my life.

Katie: Who are you to judge what space a florist needs to works, and why are you so concerned with them climbing up and down a ladder. This is San Francisco… space is tight and expensive. And wow, you got a pretty bouquet for $ 3 that is an awesome deal… what, were you expecting to get rare exotic flowers for $ 3? Give me a break, you get what you pay for!

This place is weird. It’s tiny (though that’s not uncommon with florists in the City), but it is too small for the florist to have room on the main floor for a desk; therefore, he climbs up and down a very steep ladder to a strange little loft right above the entrance. Needless to say, I was a little startled when I was greeted by a disembodied voice and then met by a man scampering down from above like one of Peter Pan’s lost boys.
So about the flowers: not very impressive, but very inexpensive. I was able to get a simple, but pretty, bouquet for $ 3. It would have been nice if it had been wrapped more attractively, but I guess I shouldn’t have expected any more from this odd little shop.

A friend purchased flowers for me on Valentines day… they were delivered to the wrong area of my building and I never rec’d them. This was a surprise, so I didnt find out until the day after Valentines that I was supposed to get flowers.
It doesn’t end here.
The following Monday the flower shop resent me the bouqet. It was large and beautiful — so large that I could barely lift it, so I couldnt take it home on my commute. But after I read the VERY clever card my friend wrote, it didnt make sense. He made reference to very specific flowers that were supposed to be in the arrangement. As it turns out, the «My Flower Shop» made the WRONG bouquet. Four days later, they work to resolve the situation by sending me the correct (totally different) bouquet.
I received a call from the Manager notifying me that I will be receiving the correct arrangement ($ 150.00 by the way) but in order for me to recieve the corrected delivery — I HAD TO RETURN THE FLOWERS THAT I HAD! By now, they were 4 days old — what were they going to do with a 4-​day old flower arrangement?!? He even asked that I walk it down to the reception lobby so his delivery person wouldnt have to come up to the 17^th floor where I work — are you kidding me???
I thought this was extremely tacky — this was clearly their error — and they obviously couldnt do anything with the old flowers — so to demand I return them was utterly ridiculous. I even asked the Manager, «What could you possibly do with used, dying flowers?» He replied, «Some flowers can be good for over a week if you take care of them, so I may be able to re-​use them…» HOW TACKY! I told him I felt sorry for the girl receiving my recylced flowers…
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
BTW — when I finally rec’d my corrected bouquet, it didnt even look like the photo. It looked as though they used less flowers and rushed it together.
