Argonne Alternative Elementary School

My children go to 750 Argonne 16^th st 94 123 which is located right nexto thos garden. While some teachers are the kindest, there is however a woman by the name of Mrs. Ja who is RUDE. She much much older so you would expect her to be respectful but shes just as rude as a teenager. the really tall/​round cocasian women also has rude comments. Their tone is disrespectful with certain parents. For example if your a young parent they act as if they know more. If your an older parent they pay a bit more attention to your request. They have a way to talk At parents and kids and not to them. Bullying goes on here also they let kids hit other kids without consequence nor discipline. They embrace violence in a quiet manner. The principal is never notified of these issues. There office lights are always off its pretty unprofessional. Most parent work so much that they hardly notice such issues. Whith more than one teacher per classroom you would think teachers pay close attention. But somehow my kids comes how to tell me a little girl excluded my kids from playing with a group and another ask if she wanted to go to jail. THIS SCHOOL I EXPECTED MORE Unilocal REVIEWS LIE

This school is very neat. The teachers are very nice and very easy to work with. This school has lots of helpers and they are very nice too. This school is very big with three levels and lots of classrooms

I’ve had two children attend Argonne and I have to admit it was a wonderful experience and they gained a solid foundation. My oldest is now entering his third year in college and will probably graduate early since he came in with 48 units and I attribute it to having a solid K-​12 education, which includes 6 years at Argonne! My youngest will be a rising freshman and I hope she is as ready for college like my son. Plus having your children go to a year round school lets you take your children out of school at non peak seasons where we really enjoyed our vacations. Another added plus.

Argonne is a wonderful school in the Richmond. It’s the only year-​round school in the district. Kids go to school for 5 weeks during the summer which really allows the teachers to dive deeper into curriculum. There is a great community at this school, very child-​centered, teachers really teach to the whole child. Lots and lots or beautiful student-​art on the walls, language classes, dance, music, drama and more! Come take a tour!

My daughter is a student there. It used to be a school where kids could learn, but lately with all the cuts in fundings they have 4 and 5 graders sitting in the same classroom learning not much. It’s a year round school, so you don’t have to worry about at least all 3 months in summer what your kid would do. Otherwise, it really is a free babysitting service.
