Andrea is going to be doing our taxes for the third year this year (2015), and we are so grateful that we found her. For some reason, whenever we have done our taxes ourselves or with a big firm, something stupid would go wrong. With Andrea, we give her everything, and it shows up all collated in a folder, and electronically filed. It’s so convenient that she comes to us, and preps us with a planner to make sure we are getting all the deductions that we should be.
I am also super grateful for how much she keeps on top of the changes in legislation, especially as LGBT filing has changed, almost every year.

Thanks to the ever changing tax laws, and being self employed, my partner and I have ridiculously complicated taxes to file. They are so bad, that our last accountant bailed at the last second and said we needed to find someone better with negotiating LGBT issues. Andrea was referred by several friends, and she was able to meet with us ASAP and get us an extension in time. She was mellow, friendly, courteous, funny, supportive and fair. We got our taxes completed in a timely manner, and she was very helpful in laying out what we needed to do for the remainder of the year. We LOVE her and can not recommend her enough!

Andrea is awesome! Not only did she guide me through the tax process, she also prepared me for what to do next year so that I don’t miss out on certain tax credits. I am not much of number person so I am almost as dreadful of tax season as I am a dentist visit. Andrea is professional, articulate, and sincere, plus she knows her taxes. I was even super impressed that she arranged all my documents in an elegant folder so that the documents are easy to store. I recommend Andrea for your taxes anytime of year especially if you filed an extension or forgot! Get those babies done!

Andrea Hyson has been helping me do my taxes for years now, and she has done a great job keeping abreast of my tax needs (I am a freelancing artist and writer), staying on top of new laws and whatnot, and generally saving me money by paying attention to all the details. She has also helped me develop a budget that works for my lifestyle, and it has helped turn me into a saver, when once upon a time I was quite the spender.
