DON’T ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered for flowers to be delivered to a friend yesterday. No delivery happened. They didn’t pick up any of my multiple phone calls or respond to my email. I have to take the time out on my lunch break and travel 20 minutes each way to find out they were EVICTED on 1÷20÷16. I didn’t receive any notice, they didn’t call or email, or have anything on their website. Beware!

After placing a flower delivery order 3 days in advance on their website thought all was good, WRONG Amazing flowers took my credit card online along with a Birthday message to be included in my order. Flowers NEVER sent. I gave my email and phone number. When the delivery day came and they were never sent it was too late to order from another company I called and was given a were not working today. Really you dont deliver on January 4^th a Monday. The very least they could have emailed or called to inform me of this. I did place the order 3 entire days before. Terrible let down

Poor service. Especially from the not so nice plump Russian female florist. Will not come here ever. Rude, no hello, no may I help you, no I’ll be with you momentarily!

Received a small bouquet of flowers and sent a photograph of the arrangement to the person who ordered the flowers. Unfortunately the arrangement was nowhere near the advertised picture. Maybe the flower shop at 5522 Geary Blvd ran out of the proper flowers and just «threw together» the flower arrangement. A six year old

I’m a firm believer in purchasing locally whenever possible. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an Amazon prime addict, but when I can give my patronage to local stores, I will.
I have to be honest with my total experience. Everything started off to be disastrous and less than optimal to even come to close to a 5 star review. What happened after is what made me realize this place is a true gem. Their customer service to make things right is remarkable. Initially I was completely disappointed with the haste service and droopy arrangements especially when I was assured with confidence of their floral expertise. Jes, their manager, called me and listened to everything I had to say. He then offered a brand new bouquet where he personally hand picked flowers from their market to insure the 2^nd bouquet would supersede my expectations. Despite the set backs and chaos their store was enduring, Jes took the time to reach out to me and express his apology for not doing everything right the first time.
He even sent me a picture of the arrangement (the one posted) prior to delivery and I was left speechless. The bouquet was just extravagant and gorgeous in every aspect. They truly have amazing flowers and nothing but 5 star service. They care, they listen and they have the best flowers.
In all, if I were to ever get flowers in the Bay Area again, I will never hesitate to call them up. In fact I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them on a regular basis because I know they’ll handle everything with care and grace.

NEVER USE Amazing Flowers! Worst flower experience ever. It was my mother’s 90^th birthday. She lives in a nursing home in the city. I ordered the deluxe version of the bouquet with instructions for next day delivery to her unit. First, they dropped it off at reception without taking it to her unit at 12:35pm. It did not get to her until 8pm. They contract with outside delivery service. That stunk. But that was nothing compared to what was delivered. The photo of the flowers was big and lovely and filled with lots of voluptuous roses. What was delivered was a tiny, cheap looking (the one I ordered was $ 65) bouquet of mainly carnations and a few puny roses that never open. I only wonder what the non deluxe one looks like! Just the worst flower experience EVER!!! Sad for such an important occasion!

Flowers were left at my front door sometime after 5 p.m. Nobody rang the bell, and if I hadn’t heard someone there, I wouldn’t have known they had arrived.
They obviously had been sitting in a van all day, because they were drooping and the flowers arrived with no instructions, and no cut flower food, just a bundle of flowers wrapped in paper and plastic.
After cutting the stems a couple of inches and leaving them to rehydrate for several hours, they perked up, but I wasn’t impressed with their service.

Went in to look at corsages for prom (I just wanted to see what they had to offer, as I’ve never gotten one before). The lady was really nice and she went over everything like the flowers that would be used and the types of bands… everything. I think she was the one who arranges. I tell her that I’ll think about it and come back when I discuss things with my date. Two days later I come back to order and it’s a different lady working at the register. I tell her exactly what I want and point to the type type of roses that I want and that I came in two days ago to look at my options. She tells me the price, which was 10 dollars more than I was told 2 days ago. I ask why and she says curtly «roses are rare at this time, they’re not in season.» I just accept it and make sure she knows that I want fairly big roses. When I pick it up, the roses on my corsage were puny. It had 3 tiny red roses and 3 tiny white ones. The number did not make up for it’s lack of size. The boutonnière was even more pathetic. The roses were not even noticeable one I pinned them on. I don’t believe that this shop doesn’t make beautiful arrangements, I am just not happy that I shelled out so much money for what I thought was going to be a nice product.

Update — Amazing Flowers is now A-​mazing. Thank you Tim for being so kind and understanding. I really did appreciate your help. My friend has been asking for a pic of the arrangement… Now I’m excited to send one to him.
So far, not too impressed. I was on my way home from work when I received a call from the delivery service. I told him I was not there and he should take the flowers back and delivery them the next day… he hung up on me. As it turned out, someone was still in the office and took the flowers for me. Now, I didn’t seen them, but was told they were not in the best of shape, so she put fresh water in the vase and they seem to perk up a bit. When I came in the next day, the foliage, which was just a handful of leaves, were droopy. The roses had started to turn black around the edges. I called the shop and was told I would receive a call back in 1 – 3 hours. That turned into 5 hrs, and I had to call them back. I was told I had to talk to the owner and that he would be in within 45 minutes… still no return call. When I tried to call at 4:00 in the afternoon, no one answered. Well, it’s now the next day and I’m still waiting for a call. In the mean time, the hand full of leaves are curling and turning brown. I’m hoping Amazing Flowers will amaze me…

On a stormy and rainy evening, Amazing Flowers called at 10PM asking if it is still ok to deliver a gift, or they can return the next day. I was very surprised they delivery this late but asked them to come.
The delivery person arrived at 11PM, dressed professionally and delivered the flowers. The flowers were fresh and beautiful.
If Amazing Flowers can deliver such a beautiful bouquet on a stormy night, imagine what they can delivery on a sunny day =)

Thank you Tim for all your help the morning of my wedding!
My step-​mother-​in-​law was making our wedding cake for our Nov. 8 wedding. I had asked for a simple white cake adorned with flowers. She made the most beautiful simple white cake, but around 5:00 the night before the wedding we realized we completely forgot to buy flowers for the cake! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted in my mind, but with just hours to spare I knew it would be tough!
I popped into a few florist shops before coming to Amazing Flowers & Events and no one could help me find what I needed. Tim greeted me as I walked in. I showed him my Pinterest page on my phone of what I was looking for. He told me they didn’t have what I was looking for, but he would find it for me by the morning. AMAZING!
He emailed me later that night explaining that he had gone to the Flower Market and had some options for me. I sent my sister as soon as they opened the next morning to pick them up.
Tim could have been like all the other florists and just have told us he didn’t have what we needed. But he didn’t! He went above & beyond to make this bride happy!
It worked out perfectly! Our cake was just lovely!

Ok. I have to updated my review for this place. Please see my another attached picture of flowers. They sent me extra ones and I accepted it! I hope they can keep serving high quality flowers!

I debated between four and five stars (hard for me to do five), and decided on 5, because I was able to get a person on the phone right away. Tim was very helpful and had them send me a picture of the arrangement (it was almost perfect, except the ribbon and they changed it, before they sent it out)
Tim even helped with the translation to Spanish on the card, I think that is great customer service.
I would definitely use them again.

I moved to another state and panicked when forgot to send birthday flowers to my mom. I called very late when most of the florists were already closed. Timothy took my order and gave me updates every step of the way until the flowers were delivered. It was a first class service late in the evening when other florists offered no service at all.
Highly recommend! Will call again.

I stopped in again today for a valentines bouquet, and was reminded of how great this place is. I didn’t get her name, but the younger woman has helped me both times and is outstanding. I have a good idea of what my wife likes, and she walks me around the store pulling out the perfect flowers. The first time I was out the door for around twenty dollars and I couldn’t believe it, I was expecting to pay 50+. Today I doubled my budget and for under 40 I got a large and varied bouquet that my wife just loves.
I’ve bought flowers downtown before, you stare at the stand for awhile, act like you can really determine what the differences between the bouquets are, and then when you finally decide on a style you pick the one that is obviously fresher (you have no idea). After that, you’re out a hefty chunk of change and still have no clue if the flowers you picked symbolize a birthday for grandma, or sympathy for the loss of your old dog.
Just stop in, they make it as easy as you want, are so nice, and you walk out feeling like you got a great deal. I couldn’t recommend them any higher.

That was one of my favorite place in sf, I am living on daly city but any huge celebration in my family I am usually coming there because trust them to get flowers and best attitudes but for this time because they under another ownership everything been change so terrible ! No one care any more about customers only about pricing tree times for the same bunch of the flowers the same person tall mid age guy sad me a different price with not nice looking and all time increasing hire and hire the price with same flowers I wait more than 40 minutes until e wrap them and after I almost lost on the way of the home ! Sorry but ill never came back I don’t want that some one charge me without any pricing knowledge, my husband call them to ask how much those roses will cost and he got other price again I missing the old owner she was so nice and great her designs where amazing.

While visiting SF over the weekend, we stopped in here this evening while waiting for our table to open up at the restaurant next door. I didn’t have any intentions of buying flowers but just stopped in to kill some time while our table was getting cleaned. I met the owner while I was in there and he was EXTREMELY nice and courteous and really knew his flowers. He wasn’t pushy nor trying to sell me any flowers but his approach and demeanor was sooo sweet and calming that I felt the need to buy flowers from him. I bought a few bunches of hydrangeas which were a steal and to top it off, he added foliage and wrapped it up with cellophane along with a nice bow and off I went. I’ll definitely be back again for all of my flower needs because this place is awesome! Go here. you will thank me later!

This flower shop is less than two blocks away from me, and I was NOT a fan until now. The shop has apparently changed ownership, and WOW!!! What a HUGE difference that made! This place is FABULOUS!
I didn’t catch his name, but the new owner is really, really, nice! He seems like the kind of shopkeeper that I would enjoy building a relationship based on his excellent customer service, sincere kindness, and obvious enthusiasm for his work.
Most notably, I was floored by the VALUE that I received for my money, and would certainly have not done better had I gone to Safeway or Trader Joe’s (where I usually pick up flowers because until now because I didn’t care for the old shop that was there). I quite honestly felt like I underpaid for this kind of quality, and would happily, happily pay more!

The. Best. Service. Ever.
Timothy is the new owner as of about 6 months ago and this guy LOVES flowers! He lives for flowers! It doesn’t matter if you’re buying just a couple or a whole bouquet! He’s so excited to help. AND!!! He’s sometimes open until 11! This worked great for me because I often get home very late. I was praying for a place to get some late night flowers because a friend was coming to town the next day and God answered my prayer with Timothy. Now I have a gorgeous bouquet just in time. Cannot say enough good things about this guy!!!

I love fresh flowers and lhaving them in my house. This place is merely a block and half from my house and the service I receive is of the highest caliber. It does not get better than that.
It is fabulous to chat with Tim and he always ensures that I walk out with a bouquet that is lucious and lasting. Oxana has also been helpful in fulfilling my floral fancy. When Nelya was the primary for the store, she was also always helpful. Their prices are competitive, so I cannot imagine buying my flowers from anywhere else.
