This place is highly unprofessional i had 2 cleanings, the first took about an hour and the other like 20 min. Then the manager told me that my insurance would cover my white filings, she said to call her to set up an appointment. I have called 7 times and she is never there. nor she replies to my messages. I will not be coming here again!

My daughter and I had an appointment here at this dental Office the first time it was okay we had dental cleaning. I had to get numb for deep teeth cleaning and the needle puncture the left side of my jaw bone. I couldn’t eat for a few weeks. On the the second appointment the service sucks Really bad was overcrowded. The x-​ray was not working We didn’t use are Delta dental service we use the Medi-​Cal part services and they didn’t clean my teeth stated they need $ 120 to numb my teeth they want to extra money and they only clean the lower part of my daughter teeth and left the top part unclean. I don’t know what’s up with this dentist but they suck. But the good thing the girls at the front desk are really awesome the actual doctors there is all about money. I didn’t want to use the Delta dental services. They didn’t like it when I said use the Medi-Cal.they wanted extra money and didn’t clean my daughter Teeth properly

They care for their patients and treat them like family. Very pleased!!! We will be going back to them for as long we live in the area.

I’m Very Surprised with the amount of start this HORRIBLE place has. This place in terrible, starting with the damn bad phone customer service.
Tried calling and took forever to make an appointment kept put on hold for soo long. Than after finely getting the appointment I stop by and they say no strollers and no kids allowed because of the x rays around WTH… OMG. Are you serious? ?
this is the first damn dentist place they give me this BS. I’ve gone to other places they have never given me this. the have separated rooms for this shyt. Don’t tell me that no kids ever go to a damn dentist appt.
Or at least put a damn SIGN.

I hated this place ever since I called to book a appt. Only went here because or my husband I’m definitely going somewhere else.

Well what can I say about this place…
I took my parent to this dental office think that they would nice since they told me that they speak Spanish. No one introduces them self to patients. I spend in that office about 3 hours, my dad visit only took 30 min and my mom 10 min. I ask for a treatment plan never got it; also never got my mom pre-​authorization for her procedure. I know that my parent dont have the best Dental Insurance like DELTA DENTAL OR METLIFE and so on … It been over 4 month up to this day we have not gotten anything form the office.
This was unprofessional try or buy clothes in front desk area where everyone in the waiting room could see. (I was like is this dental office or department store)
I would not recommend this office!!!

I just love going there. Too bad now I only get to visit twice a year, as they did all the work on my teeth several years ago. I spent a lot of money and a lot of time in this office, and they feel almost like a family by now.
I’ve been to lots of dentists until a friend recommended Allegro Dental, and I know professional doctors when they work with me. Dr. Eugene and Dr. Julia are the best. Not only highly knowledgeable and experienced, but also funny, witty, friendly and approachable. They make me feel very comfortable there.
The staff is also very friendly and caring. I think a few years back they messed up something with my appointment, but given how often I used to go there back then, on the average they do a very good job. You do need to communicate what you want to do and who you want to see, so that they could schedule you accordingly.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Go get your teeth cleaned!

Horrible place! I went there because they took my dental insurance and most places don’t but it turns out that they charge on top of everything and the price is actually higher than my normal dentist. I went to the one in Redwood City and the first bad sign was that the front door was filthy dirty, the chairs in the waiting room actually had something running down the seat pads that looked like I don’t know what, the paint was peeling off the walls and the floor were dirty. BUT I lost my job a few months ago and have 2 cavities and a broken molar so I went ahead with the X-​rays and cleaning. The hygienist was ok but when she called in the dentist, who did not even bother to introduce herself, I was told that I have only 2 cavities. After looking at my X-​rays and a quick peek in my mouth she did not even notice the large molar broken in half with the filling falling out!, I had to point it out! So not only dirty but careless. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. On top of all of that even with my insurance it will cost me almost half of their estimate to go back to my regular, wonderful dentist at Lotus Dental.

I had an outstanding experience. The staff was very nice and efficient. I was so comfortable, the facility was immaculate, and everything was taken care of their. I enjoyed my dentist visit very much.

I absolutely love Allegro Dental! Dr. Morozova is extremely precise with her work and recommends what is best for my teeth, not what will get her the most profit. I had a few cavities filled and didn’t even feel the needle which was a first! I would hightly recommend her to any of my friends or family and I’m glad one of my family members referred this dental practice to me.

I was surprised with the high reviews of this dental clinic.
After going to the the clinic for a check-​up, I felt the worst feeling ever. As if I feel cheated and helpless. I would never recommend this to anyone ever.
The dentist was not personable maybe because they have a lot of patients lined up.
First they did an xray. Plus points for me because the xray technician is nice and they are available unlike in other clinic where you need to come in a certain day to get your xray. BTW they are only available for braces during saturdays.
After the xray, I waited for the dentist and there she is. So she told me that I have this this and this. Just like siri reading my message. Not personable at all. I didn’t even feel that she is concern with my teeth. She wants me to remove this this and this. Change the crown of this this and this. Hello my former dentist in the philippines was trying to save my teeth by doing root canal or anything for her just remove it. Seriously! She just pointed the teeth in the screen and told me this one has cavities. I think she didn’t even spend 10 minutes. Is that a check-​up?
Then I waited for the dentist to come back after to explain what needs to be done in my teeth to be more detailed. Her previous explanation still doesn’t make sense to me. I waited for 30 minutes and guess what the attendant who is doing the scheduling comes up to me with the list of things i need to do with by teeth and the cost that I have to pay. Whaaat!!! that’s it. That’s the check-​up. I really feel bad. I felt they are just up for the money and they are aggravating the teeth damage. They didn’t even offer if I want the general cleaning. I reviewed the chart and it seems that some of the services shall be paid by my insurance but they still charge me.
If you love your teeth don’t ever go to this dentist and they will make you feel helpless as if there is no more hope to your teeth unless you pay thousands of dollars to them. Maybe they did that because I will be paying through my insurance. Maybe if I were paying with my own money they will not treat me like that.

I have an appointment in 2 weeks. After searching the media-​cal list of approved dentists this team seemed to be the only ones with any good Unilocal reviews AND a website. They both went to Penn Dental School, so thats impressive. However, the bad reviews here on Unilocal gave me pause. With MediCal you can’t be choosy, so Im rolling the dice here. This is my first time on public assistance and not a real good insurance plan, so we’ll see how it goes. I am hoping for a good experience with doctors who speak ENGLISH – seems hard to find in the MediCal world of providers in San Francisco.

My entire family has been going to their redwood city office for years and have always had a great experience with zero complaints!!! I highly recommend them!

…i followed dr. roytman here from his last place of business… he has always given me what i consider the best care… and he’s funny… laughing sure helps when you’re in the dentist’s chair… all the office’s staff, dental & clerical, have always been nice, polite, and timely… i’d recommend this dentist’s office to any one…

My entire family and I have been going to Allegro Dental for many years and would never think about going elsewhere. Dr. Roytman and Dr. Morozova are extremely professional, highly knowledgable, kind and funny. As we all know, going to the dentist is not everyone’s favorite thing to do (in fact, it has been a nightmare since I was a little kid). However, seeing these Doctors has always been a great experience. They will distract you from what is actually going on with funny stories, whilst being extremely gentle with your teeth. What I like most about the doctors is how patient they are. They would rather take extra time on you, instead of hurting you or doing something incorrect and thus, forcing an extra, unneeded visit.
All of the assistants are great, as well. The front desk gals are very friendly and will never make you wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room (added bonus)!

why are there 31 filtered reviews? That shouldn’t even be allowed… so 31 people were all wrong?

This place is the worse… Suppose to be free extractions for medical patients but was charges $ 50??? What for, that’s not FREE., then wouldn’t accept ins & was charged $ 250 for partial repair… They’re jus out for the money… VERY UNPROFESSIONAL…

Since I found this place I keep coming back even if I have to drive from far away. The reason? Anybody who had bad dentist would understand… I had my tooth cracked, wrong tooth root-​canalled, etc. Now, Allegro Dental is the only place I would trust with any dental work. Appointments are easy for same or next week. Never had any insurance problems.

I was referred to Allegro by a friend who has had all good experiences here. However, despite the extremely friendly service I have 2 out of 4 crowns giving me trouble. I moved to L.A. shortly after my last procedure (a root canal thru one of my crowns he just did because I was in pain = another $ 800.). This crown and another he did are STILL bothering me and one of them bleeds every time I floss. Now going to another dentist in L.A. to get this corrected once and for all. Really frustrating, time consuming & costly. :(

I think it’s hard to give any dentist a good review since I really hate going to my check-​ups but I’ve never had a problem at Allegro.
I’ve been seen by Dr. Roytman a few times and what I like most about him and his wife is their bluntness. They tell you how it is. I have a huge fear of needles and pain so a softy doctor would just make it worse for me. When I told Dr. Roytman I was scared he just casually shrugged and said, «well, you have no choice, it has to be done.» That was in regard to my deep-​cleaning on my 4 lower front teeth and I’m really glad he made me do it.
If you’re looking for a softy dentist don’t come here… these docs are Russian and they won’t baby you lol. Not a great choice if you’re sensitive.
The only thing I want to let them know is the doctor they recommended for my wisdom tooth extraction has some very negative (and scary!!) Unilocal reviews. They should start recommending Dr. Eshan (or somebody with good reveiws) instead.

I have tried out a few different of dental offices in the city. After some research it turned out the both my father and aunt and a few friends all go to allegro dental. I scheduled an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service i received from the receptionist. She was friendly and was able to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon appointment!
I was recommended to see Dr. Morozova, who after my experience, I can say is an excellent doctor. I was very pleased by the service she provided me. She noticed I had a cavity and didn’t make me get it filled that instance like I feel other places rush you into doing things. She was honest, said its not that bad yet, come back within the next two — three weeks and we will take care of it. :)
I have been coming back since. I have had my teeth cleaned by a number of the people working there and I can honestly say they all do a great job! My gums have never been so healthy and my teeth are so white! Highly recommend this place!!!
