Hi everyone, we provide bookkeeping services specifically for TIC and Condo Homeowners Associations. We will work with you on a budget, invoice and collect HOA dues and for TIC also your Property Tax shares and pay your common HOA bills and provide monthly reports.

We specialize in Property Tax reviews for TIC’s and love to help you figure out if your share in the property taxes was calculated correctly and if the City may have made a mistake.

We provide specialized bookkeeping services and work closely with independent Property Managers when required.

History

Established in 2007.

We started taking over the books in our own Homeowners Association, specialized in TIC’s and quickly became the ‘go to’ bookkeeping provider for a large number of Condo and TIC associations in San Francisco. We have clients from Sausalito to Santa Monica and love to help you with your bookkeeping chores.

Theo and Marilynne have both been outstanding to work with. Our HOA has used them for almost 3 years now and couldn’t be more pleased with the service provided. Both go above and beyond what might be traditionally required and have an exceptional attention to detail. A testament to this: we saved $ 30k+ in wrongfully emitted taxes from the city — it would have been a nightmare for us to it all handle personally! I would highly recommend their services for any HOA.

We have used Albers for over 4 years now and I can’t recommend Theo and his team highly enough. The basic services provided have been excellent but they go well beyond on what is just «required». They often spot issues that they bring to our attention that we would never find on our own and just Theo’s knowledge on how things work (he should provide a consultation service on the city tax department) is very helpful to our HOA, which is naturally not made up of a bunch of financial experts. Highly responsive to inquiries, able to provide reporting that helps us manage our expenses, friendly and just great to work with. This is a service any homeowners association would benefit from enormously.

I agree with another reviewer that Alber’s service is flawless. I would also add flexible. No two HOA’s are alike and Alber’s is easy to work with to customize accounting and reports to meet your TIC and HOA needs. I also appreciate their availability and responsiveness. Alber’s has been helping us for our five years as a TIC. They are now helping us through condo conversion. Their experience is valuable. They are a great partner.

They respond quickly to any questions or concerns, and regularly offer helpful advice they’ve gleaned from their experience with other TICs. Focus on more important building issues, and let them take care of the day-​to-​day record keeping and annual tax calculations. They’re great at it.
