Specialties
We offer process serving throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our specialties include judgment collections and landlord-tenant problems, two fields where we take time to educate our clients about the pitfalls in these areas. We have four drop-off locations in the Bay Area, where papers may be left for pick-up; other quick and easy options to get papers to us, include fax, e-mail and direct pick-up of papers from your location for a small charge. Generally, we make five attempts to serve papers, although rush services and specifically arranged service times may be charged for a single attempt. Our fees are reasonable and are due in advance, unless you are a regular repeat client, such as a law firm. We also due legal research and filing in courthouses throughout the area. The fees for this service vary, primarily depending on the time spent in the courthouse. We also can obtain actual street addresses for people with USPS p.o. boxes. We try hard. Referneces available.
History
Established in 1995.
In 1990 I began working as an independent paralegal and gradually moved to process serving, given the uncertain legal status of inpendent paralegals.
Meet the Business Owner
John S.
Business Owner
I believe in justice. I also believe that most people are unaware of their legal rights and how to enforce them.
While I try very hard to remain neutral in disputes and treat the people who I am serving with courtesy and respect, I can be a partisan in cases involving children. One of the cases I am most proud of was the successful service of papers in a child custody and visitation matter in Antioch. The mother had been trying for THREE YEARS without success, until I managed to get through.
Having said that, I am not a magician, make-up artist or burglar. Some people are adept at avoiding service. I am certainly not successful in every case. No one is and a fresh face may get through where someone else has failed.
I try to answer questions asked of me as best I can. I also am ready to tell people that they need the help of a lawyer or other agency.
