I emailed A-​Plus electronics late in the evening. Michael responded almost immediately saying he had seen the issue I described before and that it wouldn’t be cost effective to fix. He asked for a few more details and confirmed that his first instinct was the case, recommended I can ask for a second opinion if I wanted. I got one that agreed 100% with Michael.
So in short Michael at A-​plus saved me a trip, money and trouble. I’m sad my tv is broken, but glad they were upfront explaining the situation.

I have never felt the compunction to write a review until working with Michael at A Plus. I read all the other 5 star reviews before asking him to look at my Panasonic plasma with the 7 blinking lights problem. Everything others say is true. Super responsive, very honest, great repair, very fair prices. Michael picked up my tv and had it back to me in a few days. He kept me updated and even helped my daughter put up birthday decorations when he returned the tv. He really deserves 6 out of 5 stars.

Michael has ethics, morals and professional manners when it comes to discussing TV problems with customers

Michael was great to work with. I called on Friday afternoon and he came to our house to look at the TV on Monday afternoon (after I told him it wasn’t a rush). When he saw the problem (the color on the TV is wonky) he was honest that there wasn’t a cheap fix and the best bet was just to buy a new TV, and then didn’t charge for the home visit. His honesty was so, so appreciated and I would recommend him highly.

He had a look at it and quickly diagnosed the display panel. My set was only two years old, so I called Samsung and politely explained that even though my set was out of warranty, I didn’t expect the display to fail in such a short time. After some discussion, Samsung came through with a one time accommodation to cover the parts cost. Thanks Samsung!
Michael handheld me through the process, and quickly fixed my TV after the display panel arrived. The service costs were less that I expected given the complexity. All through the process he kept me informed and was always extremely friendly and professional. Did I mention that A-​Plus is a Samsung factory authorized service center? Michael gave our family the most incredible service you can imagine! We were referred to A-​Plus by the warranty company when our 95 year old father’s TV stopped working. Michael went above and beyond. He communicated with us constantly, and was in touch with the warranty company every step of the way. He brought our father a loaner TV, and then brought him another one as soon as a larger screen loaner became available. Michael determined that the TV can not be repaired (only because the parts are no longer available) and got the warranty company to agree that it must be replaced. Michael is letting us hold on to the loaner TV indefinitely, until a new TV arrives. Fabulous guy, fabulous repair store!

Michael is the greatest! He fixed our broken plasma in a week or so after ordering the parts on a Saturday. Speedy call back and great communication throughout the whole process. Hopefully our TV doesn’t die again but if it does we’ll be calling Michael for sure!

Michael and staff were amazing! Our TV went out on Friday before the Labor Day weekend and Michael had his assistant come in for an hour just to wait for us to drop it off on Saturday. He text us back well past business hours to make this happen. When I picked up the TV, they carried it out and packed it in my car so I didn’t have to do it… and even text me before to make sure I knew that they would do this. Exceptional customer service that was so much appreciated! Thank you!

Great service! I called on a Sunday and actually got a call from the owner, Michael, that night. Luckily my tv had a pretty easy problem, but Michael picked and up and dropped my TV within 48 hours. And he was nice.

TERRIFIC service! Our flatscreen LG TV went out on us and before we invested in a new TV we wanted to attempt to get it fixed. We called Mike. The TV was picked up and evaluated the next day. It was too expensive to fix, but Mike gave us options and we wound up with a comparable TV with a better picture. This shop is honest, friendly and very fast service. I am so glad we called them.

I called thinking I was going to schedule a home visit to fix my poor Samsung LED TV.
I love my Samsung because of its dynamic colors. However, suddenly one day — my Samsung became a Sony, which lacks awesome black levels and is known more for «realistic» colors.
I like to see life in dynamic colors.
I spoke to Michael and he was friendly, personable and helpful. He asked me what were the symptoms and then explained to me what he thought it might be. He was kind enough to give explanations of why he thought what he did. This works well for someone like me who get excited anytime I can gain a clear understanding of how things work.
The final result was Michael giving me some things to try to see if I may get the colors I love so much and if it didn’t then I was more than welcome to bring it in and his crew will take a look at it.
I felt Michael is a man who truly knows his products, enjoys his work and most importantly, focuses more in helping people than making a sale. He could have come out, charge me for the visit and tell me some baloney and I wouldn’t be the wiser, but he demonstrated true character by helping me help myself.

Michael and his team of technicians repaired my various pieces of electrons and at a very reasonable price! The turnaround was quick and the results were proof of their expert work. I called A Plus after my Samsung TV started to have issues with bad capacitors, and Michael at A Plus scheduled a housecall for me the next day. Michael and his technician showed up on time and quickly repaired my TV. Michael even checked in with me the day after to make sure that I was satisfied with the repair. A Plus is very professional and efficient, and my TV is working great.

I went to A Plus Electronics a month or two ago, when my tv just stopped having an image, it was a 42″ 2006 visio so I didn’t have much hope for it, they tried to repair it, it wasn’t repairable, so they gave me a equal value tv 42″ that was much newer (2 years old) and installed it. I just love the customer service from these guys. Thanks again for all your help.

They took out all the screws in the tv and didn’t replace them. Only put 3 screws back to hold the tv together. When I asked them for the screws back or if they still had them they were quick to never respond.
I got that the tv is broken but it’s still part of my tv and a response would be nice especially since I was happy with them up until that point…

My receiver stopped sending a signal to my surround sound’s center speaker. This was a true crisis! It is the most important speaker of a life necessity…
I wanted to see about a repair before spending money on a new receiver (the holiday season had already been pretty draining on my finances). So, I brought the receiver to these guys. It didn’t take long before I got the diagnosis. My gratitude to them trumps my embarrassment: user error. They explained why and how to prevent it from happening it again.
The best part: it cost me NOTHING! They didn’t charge me a diagnostic fee (its like finding a good, competent winery in Napa that no longer charges for a tasting… good luck!) or any other cost/​fee. My surround sound is up and going, …and my money is in my pocket!

I didn’t actually end up using their service, but I am giving them 5 Stars because I was super impressed with Michael’s honesty on the phone. I called to ask about our monster of a TV, an old Sony XBR that was «top of the line» about 12 or 15 years ago. It finally stopped working. right before the HarBowl! NO WAY… of course, the husband immediately says, «we need a new one.» I disagreed, and called up A Plus and spoke to Michael. His assessment? «You’re better off buying a new TV.» Sigh. The only painful thing was calling my husband and telling him he was right.
Michael was very honest, and even offered me a referral to a recycler who will come take the monster away. I will DEFINITELY keep this shop in mind for any other electronic mishaps.
Again, his honesty was refreshing, and just instantly makes me feel comfortable with this business and their practices.
Even if my husband WAS right. :)

After six years, the «lamp» on my Sony 42-​inch flatscreen TV peetered out, giving me a black screen. Considering that I know nothing about television lamps, and that a new TV would cost several thousand dollars, I called A-​Plus in desperation.
That SAME afternoon (no joke), the manager Michael personally arrived at my apartment with a new lamp, opened up all the panels on my TV, installed the new lamp in the old housing (it’s far more complicated than I imagined), and my TV was good as brand new. Michael is friendly, honest, efficient, and convenient. OH, and he threw in a 90-​day warranty for the parts and labor, free of charge!
Cannot recommend highly enough!
