Clayton Brewhouse & Eatery

Stopped by on a Monday night with a friend and almost did not give this place a chance. It had the look of closing soon. But we stayed and ordered. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the beer. The bartender was welcoming to new people at a bar of regulars. She even let us stay a bit after closing –without rushing– to finish out drinks.

Have eaten here several times. The garlic truffle fries are the bomb! Beer is OK. All the entrees I have ordered have been delicious and filling!!! I always take home leftovers. Burgers are fantastic and salads are fresh.

Great little place for good food, and some live entertainment. Check it out!

I was sent to the area for work and was staying at the hotel across the street. This was by far the best restaurant In the area! I could walk over and enjoy an amazing dinner and some great beer made in house! I couldn’t stop ordering the truffle fries, but also had a Patty melt, chicken Alfredo, and Cesar Wrap, all were hands down delicious! Will definitely come back if in the area!

Great food and some very good beers without being price-​gouged at Claytons.
A semi-​quiet atmosphere which we also appreciated and top it all off with great hostesses, especially Raylene… we will be back soon!
Try their garlic/​parm fries… wow.

Great vibe at a great location in the San Dimas shopping area at 57 – 210. Wait staff attentive and attractive, and were able to provide a good experience even though the place was crowded. Our server Bonnie accommodated my request to put on the Dodger game without issue, and even took care of the (cursing, douchebag) Cal fan who wanted the Cal-​Utah game on. Brought my kids who ordered the pulled pork and kids mac and cheese, both were finished so I’ll assume they were good. I had a tasty Clayton’s IPA, really nice flavor. Followed by a flatbread pizza with thick tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions that was priced reasonably and I highly recommend. Topped it off with fudge /​whipped cream dessert for the kiddos. Good experience, great vibe, will be returning!

I went there on a quick lunch break to check out the food. I was greeted right away and the restaurant didn’t seem full (on the bar side, there were 2 other people). I asked about the lunch specials and one of the recommendations they made was the burger so I went ahead and ordered it.
The burger was ok; kind of insipid. The fries were bland too. The server was really nice but I had to get up a couple of times to see if I could get a refill on my drink and then finally ask for my bill so I would say service was slow. Overall a pretty underwhelming experience. I love going to breweries so I was excited to try this place but I was kind of disappointed.

Came here on fluke after raging waters. After a dirty day of soaking up strangers nastiness (hairballs in the lazy river, and I’m sure gallons pee our family accidentally ingested) it was a nice come down to grab a hard cider and AMAZING food! Try the truffle Mac and cheese and the avocado salad!
Our waitress was amaze-​balls. I wish I could remember her name to give her props! Brown straight hair in a pony with big pretty eyes. She was great and so accommodating to our families! If we are out here again from Orange county we will for sure be coming back to Claytons!

I cannot speak about the food at Clayton because my boyfriend and I only have stopped here for some beers, but the selection is decent are the bartenders are really sweet and efficient.
The bar is relatively small compared to the rest of the restaurant, but it’s a very pleasant, relaxed place to drink some brews and watch a game on one of the flat screen TVs.
The food looks good, too. So, we will have to order something to eat next time to give a more comprehensive review.

Pretty interesting place that I had on my to-​do-​list for quite some time. I came in on a weekday lunch and was easily able to find a seat. I was actually a bit surprised that there wasn’t more people inside.
The interior is clean and contemporary and the same goes for the men’s room. That’s a good sign. I was also greeted and waited on by a very sweet, helpful and cute girl whose hair color just so happens to be my favorite starburst flavor. She provided great service.
The pub cheeseburger arrived very quickly and was cooked perfectly to the medium I ordered. My only qualm is the fact they put ketchup on the burger. If I was five, I’d be in heaven. A housemade aioli, thousand island or a mayo is my suggestion. Also, there are no damn pickles in the entire place. Next time, I’ll bring my own jar. Just sayin… but I did enjoy myself.
There were plenty TVs and background music playing. I am only left to wonder what kind of vibe the place takes on at nightfall. I’m guessing the kind I might enjoy. I would definitely return.

This place is great! The brew was good. The waitress was very helpful and kind. The food was good but not «omg amazing». However, I am here to drink beer not critique the food. The vibe was great and didn’t have any issues whatsoever. And the molten lava cake was deff amazing. In other words the Molten lava cake was Molten!!! (see the movie Chef for that joke) still dreaming about it.

I came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. At first the service was great. Drinks came out fairly quick.
I ordered the pastrami and swiss sandwich with a side salad. The lettuce on the salad didn’t taste fresh. It was just lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and croutons. They could’ve added some onions, cucumber — anything! The pastrami was cut a little thicker than how I usually like my pastrami, but over all the sandwich was good, not great, but good.
Once we got our food, drink refills were scarce, and there were hardly any other customers there. The staff were nice, but just lacking.
Overall, for the price was expensive for the quality of food you receive.

I love Clayton brewing co. So chill and calm; perfect way to unwind after a long night.
My boyfriend and I came in around 9:30 on a Saturday night and the place was quite empty. We were a bit nervous at first, but we were thoroughly impressed with the food offerings, beer selection, and most importantly, the service!
Our waitress was beyond sweet. She checked in on us multiple times throughout the night, always with the sweetest smile and attitude. When we asked about the dessert menu, which consists of only the molten lava cake, her eyes lit up with so much joy – so cute! The kitchen closes at 10 so unfortunately we couldn’t try it, but I’ll be here just for that.
I kind of love that it was so empty bc I could actually communicate with my date without being overwhelmed and yelling to hear. This is my secret gem that I am willing to share with you all!
As for food, we only had the pork fries but they killed it. A big applause to you Clayton!
