Boot Barn

Strolled in on a Sunday evening 01/​31/​2016 ready to buy boots for my trip to Texas, not one person greeted or asked if I needed any help. I was there for a good thirty minutes trying on boots but got super irritated that I was standing right next to two employees who were caring on personal conversations who not once acknowledged me so I left without any boots, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Great experience. Customer service was great right from when I walked into the store. I was exchanging a belt I got as a gift for Christmas that was unfortunately too big. I didn’t have the receipt, but I did still have the price tag that was torn and they were still able to make the exchange. I definitely want to come back for more merchandise and hopefully my first pair of real boots. Thanks Boot Barn associates for making my visit today a great one! :)

Been coming here for 2 years to get Georgia boot chukka. Always have multiple same size pairs. Also have small sz for kids.

If you like boots, this is the place! there is a boot for every man, woman and child here, with pretty decent prices. Although I just came in for shoestring for my boots, I found myself wandering the boot aisles, with thoughts of Ostrich skin boots, Durango and other pretty cool looking boots. If you’re a little smaller like I am, boots are your savior, providing a nice boost in height and stature, as you look lean and mean with that new look. If you have never worn boots, you should really try them out. I’ve worn cowboy boots off and on for over 30 years, and have never had sore feet after all day working or evening night outs. I would recommend starting with some Durangos, which fit the best for me. I’m told your feet are not exactly alike, so measure up and try both sides, since the boot goes up half way up your calf. The current question with the new pants in style is to tuck or cover. The Jury is still out, but it will definitely get some conversation going with women, who love their men in boots!

Everyone working at this Boot Barn is very friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of cowboy boots and western wear. For me shopping for boots and shoes in person is a must. Even though some online stores have free shipping including returns if you don’t like the fit, I’m not inclined to order the 6 different pairs I think I like online, just to try them all on and send 5 or all 6 back. This is the one area where I don’t see myself going away from B&M even if the cost is higher. Your feet are too valuable to buy cheap shoes, or wear shoes for style that don’t fit well.
I came in on three consecutive lunch breaks trying on and re-​trying on boots to make sure I liked the style and fit. I started out with 4 or 5 different boots until I narrowed it down to 2 and finally settled on a pair of Ariats. A couple of the boots I really liked initially just didn’t fit my foot well at all so I’m doubly glad I didn’t go the internet route!
In the end the boots I wanted were advertised as part of the $ 20 off Ariat sale online, but weren’t part of the sale in store. The woman working the counter said that the promotions can be different, but she double checked in her system and matched the online sale price for me.
Their prices are on par with other online stores for boots. I can’t think of more than 2 other stores (besides the other Boot Barn locations) in the area that even sell cowboy boots and neither have near the selection. Sign up for their rewards card (free) and you also get coupons and points that earn you points towards future purchases.

Got an awesome experience. Went in with my sister and teresa helped us out. I believe that was her name. She has reddish hair, a great personality and a bright smile to go along with it. Anytime we had a question she answered it and made sure are experience was at its finest. When we were were cashing out there was another employee waiting to leaving I believe and I smiled at her and she just gave me a dirty look, rolled her eyes and walked away. I saw another customer asking for help and from the same girl that gave me a dirty look and was really inattentive. We will be back for Teresa’s customer service!

Exceptionally helpful staff. Particularly one young lady by the name of Patty. She pretty much walked me through my whole purchase and helped me select the right size, color and style. Very talkative and friendly. My visit to boot barn San Dimas was very pleasant. I hope to see this lovely young lady again.

I have been here twice, the last time being one week ago. I previously used to live next to Boot Barn in Los Alamitos, CA. They used to have great clothes, products and customer service. But they have gone down hill and the customer service is crap and some of their shirt lines are low class.
Then i visited San Dimas and the day i was there I thought the customer service was good, a lot better than Los alamitos. I also thought they had a higher quality of shirt brands.
One time i bought a belt (at Los Alamitos location) with some flourishes on it and within a month it started falliing apart. I sent it to headquarters and asked if this is the quality they intend to sell. Never heard from them. Generally I think the leadership is somewhat indifferent to complete customer satisfaction.
Still there are some things that I can get here and use the store for that purpose and don’t let myself get bothered by some of Boot Barns underwhelming attitudes. I will continue to shop here yet I am looking around to see if I can find any other western wear outlets.
P. S. By the way, as a result of my posting I got a message from Boot Barn to provide my contact information for the district manager. I thought «Oh maybe they do care about my experience with them.» I provided it but never heard from anyone. Decide what you will about that.

First off I’m never going here again! Everybody here needs customer service training from the management all the way to the basic employee. Of all the years I have been going there the only person who was respectful and curteous was a female named Marisol. Every time me and my wife go in there we waste usually $ 200+. And u would think they would be nice to us. I always take my hat to get shaped and the girl who we always give business to always says, «the machine is off and it takes too long to warm up» really? The female knows us and knows that I rodeo. I’m not stupid those machines warm up in like 10 mins. Don’t lie to me. If u don’t want to do it just say it! Then she always say next time your gonna come in call us so we can have it ready. Mind u i live 40 mins away. So yesterday I decided to call before I left my house. The manager answers and I told her that I was on my way and asked if she can turn it on. She replied by saying our store is busy and we might not get to it, each associate is busy with somebody. I though really? Every time we go in there there’s like more associates doing nothing, trying clothes on while the 2 customers don’t get attended. So now we get to the store and there’s 3 cars in the parking «3 cars!» We walk in and as I thought it was empty. If u ask me they lied to me like always and that’s not good business! I’m looking for clothes and an employee asks me if I need help. So I told her I needed my hat shaped and she said I can leave it. I said I live 40mins away and didn’t want to leave it then she said the girl who knows how to shape hats is out to lunch I said I’ll wait So she asked the rude manager and came back and said the manager says its too busy and when she gets back from lunch she might not get it. I looked around and said it doesn’t look busy to me. My wife and another couple were the only ones in there.

Best boot barn I’ve been to. The service is great and the employees always have a smile. I shop here for work and western boots and if they don’t have the right one they gladly order it for me.

Worst Boot Barn I’ve been to in the area. Visit the Norco or Orange location instead. Employees were snarky and rude.

I do not know how this place stays open. I’ve never visited the actual store since i live across the country but ordering online from them was a terrible experience. The customer service at Boot Barn is absolutely terrible and the lady who calls herself the supervisor needs to reevaluate how she talks to customers.

How does this place stay in business? The sales clerks are so arrogant and unfortunatly for them my money goes elsewhere. Three times in the last year have tried to buy some Luchesses from them looking for a bit of a deal and been told to kick rocks «we sell full price here». Check out Broken Horn Saddlery in Covina, worth the drive and got better deal/​service/​product. I can’t wait to see a «FOR LEASE» sign on this place

This place is great! I went to get some new work boots and the service was awesome! I didn’t have to do a thing really. Lori brought me all the boots and showed me the best selling work boot and it was perfect. I would go back just for the service.

We went here to pick out a pair of boots. It was great! People are very nice and helpful while keep you comfortable. They are not pushy at all. Great selection of boots with wide variety of styles and prices. Very reasonably priced. They also have a royalty program that give you a coupon of 10% of your bill for your next purchase. They also have hats, apparel, belts, and kids boots. If you are looking for a pair of boots, you should stop by and take a look.

I come here atleast once a month to get my old gringo fix. Customer service needs some improvement. Other than that they have a wide selection of western boots for me and harley’s for my bf, i know, night and day.

This boot barn is fantastic. It seems like a really new location. Boot Barns tend to be pretty standard in their selection. This location stayed open just a bit later so that I could finish my transaction (I bought a new belt) and leave instead of just closing up before I could check out. The employees were very nice and understanding (I had a belt malfunction).
