Yoga Loft San Diego

I recently started going to this beautiful, all-​white, high-​ceiling, large-​window yoga studio. The yoga instructor on Sundays at noon, Megan, is sweet and soft-​spoken, and I always feel excellent when the practice is done, as well as throughout the week. The background music is at a good volume & everything is provided for you (mats, eye pillows, blankets, cushions, foam blocks, water). It’s a lovely environment. I love the meditation practice at the beginning & the longer shavasana. On Sundays, arrive early because parking (while free along the street) can take a while. As an added tip, you can park on yellow & green curbs on Sundays.

Best yoga you can get in San Diego with lots of great instructing. I gained my rock hard abs here with my stellar butt too. Great energy here with lots of parking too.

This studio is unlike any other you will ever find. Personal attention from the instructors and the owner, skilled teachers who know what they’re doing and small class sizes. It is such a change from the traditional large corporate studios and «fitness» style of yoga that is the industry today. Definitely give it a shot!

I discovered Yoga Loft because it is right down the street from my apartment. I love yoga, and I figured with a studio so close, I had to at least check it out. Blake was the first instructor I had, and she was SO nice. She was incredibly friendly and talked a bit about the class before it began. The next time I came in, she remembered me and asked how I was feeling since our class together (how nice!). I’ve had classes with a few other instructors, and I have to say that the instructors are what truly set this place apart from other yoga studios. They really watch their students, and if they’re doing something incorrect, they instruct them on how to adjust their posture and then explain WHY they’re doing what they’re telling you to adjust. I also really like that the classes are on the smaller side. I used to be a member at CPY, and it always felt like the classes were overcrowded. The small class size really allows the instructors to focus on a more personalized yogic experience. All-​in-​all, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to deepen their practice. They have various levels of classes to fit with different skill levels, and their prices are affordable as well.

The moment I stepped into the studio I knew I wanted to join. The studio is an amazing, beautiful set up and a relaxing, open space! It is kept clean and the view from the windows are just gorgeous.
The studio has all the equipments ready, including eye mask, water, towels etc!!! You can literally walk in and do yoga!
I am so happy I found this yoga studio so close to my home.

I recently attended Nicole Treadaway’s Monday evening deep vinyasa class (5:30) at the Yoga Loft in Little Italy and had a fantastic experience. The space is very unique and almost feels like the yoga studio you always wanted in your own home. The floor to ceiling windows offer a glance at the bustling neighborhood of Little Italy, while the trees with their purple blooms offer just the right amount of privacy. What I like about Yoga Loft is that you basically show up in your yoga gear and the rest is taken care of. Large mat? Absolutely. Infused waters? Yes. It is truly a relaxing experience and fantastic space to practice in.
Nicole is the quintessential yoga teacher. Often I attend yoga classes at gyms and other venues and wonder how dedicated the teachers are to their craft. With Nicole, there is no mystery; she is my idea of a true yogi. Her instructions are clear and her voice is soothing. She brings an incredible energy to her practice and also helps the students learn the benefits of each pose. At the end of the practice there is a long guided mediation that Nicole guides effortlessly.
If you are looking for the «true» yoga experience that will give you an incredible workout for your mind, body and soul, I absolutely recommend attending a class at the Yoga Loft, especially with Nicole.

Lindsay was awesome and this studio is so excellent. Many people will find this soon. Incredible good vibe /​space and people, doesn’t feel so public.
