Nova is the best! I was wanting to do a natural birth and knew I would need the help of a doula but financially wasn’t in a spot to be able to pay for my placenta encapsulation and a doula. I told Nova my position and she was soooo much help! She reached out to her network of doulas and helped me find someone who would work with my budget! Not only that but she made sure everything was going good with the doula I had found and even offered to mentor her. She took such good care of me! I had my placenta pills at the hospital before I left along with what is now my favorite sweet (dark chocolate peanut butter cups)! Lol. I couldn’t have had a better experience! She is seriously a total sweet heart and truly cares for her clients. Thank you Nova for everything you did for me! You’re the best! I will definitely be going through her for each of my births !

I would definitely recommend Womb Service! Nova is absolutely wonderful! With my first child, I lived in the San Fernando valley and had my placenta encapsulated, it was an ok experience, nothing to rave about. With Womb Service, I love how you can get the capsules flavored (because trust me, you can taste it if they are not), and I also love how Nova puts a special touch on her service — she sticks around after dropping off the capsules to answer any questions my husband or I had. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see my placenta, but after watching the video Nova made for me, I was happy I did. Nova is so sweet and wonderful, thank you so much for your wonderful work!!!

I used Nova’s services to have my placenta encapsulated after my baby’s birth and I couldn’t have been happier with her service! I texted her the night that I went into labor and also the next morning when the baby was born and she arrived a few hours later to pick up the placenta and the next day returned with my bottle of placenta pills! She also included a couple gifts with the pills (the umbilical chord dried into a heart) and some chocolates and baby coupons. She was also incredibly sweet and helpful and answered all of our questions and was a pleasure to meet.
During the birth of my child the doctors asked if I wanted to see the placenta and I didn’t … the idea of it kind of grossed me out since blood bothers me to look at. Nova made a video of the placenta though once she had it explaining the different parts which I did end up watching and I’m glad I did. It wasn’t gross and it was amazing to see the part of my body that was keeping my baby alive! If you are thinking about encapsulating your placenta I highly recommend Womb Service and Nova!

Words can’t express how AMAZING Nova at Womb Service. She was extremely easy to work with and get ahold of. Not only did she pick up my placenta within hours of my delivery, she has my encapsulated pills back to me in LESS THAN 24 HOURS with the most adorable umbilical chord heart (and story that made me cry!!). From the moment I met Nova I knew she was an amazing soul. I am a birth doula and recently had the honor of being able to work with Nova as she was photographing the birth AND was encapsulating this momma’s placenta. Nova is an amazing, caring and loving person. Her professionalism and attention to detail is extremely apparent in her work. As a doula I have referred some of my clients to her looking for placenta encapsulation and I can’t say enough great things on how she has exceeded my clients and my expectations. She has always been quick to respond to messages and calls. When a mom is ready for the placenta to be picked up, she is diligent and immediately starts the process in order to get the capsules back to the mom in a timely manner. She then follows up with me and the mom keeping us updated of when delivery will happen and checks back in to see how things are going. Nova is the best, I absolutely love her !!! I called Nova the week before my due date because I wanted to get my placenta encapsulated. She was prompt in answering my call and all of the questions I had in regards to the encapsulation. She was very informative and helpful. As a first time mommy to be I was very anxious and just wanted to know what I could do and what my options were. I ended up giving birth a week late but during the last week, I gave her a call letting her know I still wanted to encapsulate my placenta, she sent me a link to register for womb services. The registration process was easy and it took no more then 10 minutes to complete and send. I only wish I would have been able to use her for doula service because I would have totally used her during birth of my child. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the means but if I did I would have totally used her for those services as well because she’s is that great. After I gave birth and got out of the hospital, she came to my home and picked up my placenta and came back the next day with my pills. My whole experience with Nova was phenomenal I couldn’t have asked for a better experience because I received the BEST service from her. She is such a sweet and wonderful woman, God bless her beautiful soul. I also got tinctures for my little one and I and she came and dropped those off for me once they were finished. She is also a certified lactation counselor and helped me in trying to get my little one to latch correctly. I recommend her to everyone and anyone who is looking to encapsulate their placenta and I also recommend you use her for her other services because even though I didn’t get to, I wish I would have been able to, she gives great vibes and she’s just a beautiful person I know she would have been awesome to have in the delivery room. She is very professional and knows what she is doing she is very sweet and caring and just an over all outstanding person. If I have another child I will definitely use all of the services she offers because I had such a wonderful first time experience with her. I recently delivered a baby and I used Nova’s placenta encapsulation service.
Booking and payment was very easy. She got back to me very quickly with detailed instruction and also gave me some referral that I requested.
My husband was curious about encapsulation facility and procedure, so he requested to visit her place in advance. Nova was kindly accepted our offer and showed us her work station and walked through encapsulation procedure. Her station was isolated from her living space and was nice and clean. Pretty much all the equipment was disposal. My husband was very happy about it!
After we delivered the baby around midnight, we contacted her and she came to the hospital to pick up my placenta 5am! and she came back around 7pm with placenta capsules !! How fast :)
She even asked us to see if we wanted some food for pick up and gave us a chocolate as a snack! How sweet!
She is also a lactation specialist, so gave me a bunch of advices and tips that helped me a lot!
Overall I am so happy that I used her services and I highly recommended her!

How many stars would you give to a person who hand held you through one of the most difficult, intense, and mind blowing experiences of your life? Too bad Unilocal maxes you out at only five. There is a reason Nova has so many five stars here on Unilocal: she is as good as it gets! We are eternally grateful to her for being on our team for both of our daughters’ births as well as placenta encapsulation services.
Our family felt tremendously supported throughout the birthing process. Nova has an uncanny knack for spotting needs or anxiety and addressing them thoughtfully and effortlessly. With both births, Nova was by our side throughout, soothing me, massaging me, chatting with me for hours & being an overall smart & savvy advocate for us at the hospital. And when it came time to birth the baby, Nova turned into a photographer & captured the entire birth and of our first moments together as a family. I get to relive that experience every time I look at the pictures now. In the end, with her support, we had the births we dreamed of. Nova is experienced, professional, and innately talented at providing emotional and physical comfort to the laboring mother.
Now that Nova focuses mostly on placenta encapsulation, we also had her encapsulate the placenta on our 2^nd birth. The capsules really have helped with my hormone regulation and recovery. I’m feeling much more balanced and secure than I did with my previous birth (where I had no placenta capsules). I can’t recommend it enough. I especially appreciated all her detailed instructions and tips on how to maximize the placenta’s benefits. Recovery has been smooth, and I think the Nova’s pills are largely to thank!

Nova attended all three of my births. Gosh I can’t even write this without crying. I cannot/​do not want to imagine my births without her presence. Whenever I was in doubt, she always knew how to pick me up. I had safe, wonderful births and I KNOW, for sure, it would not have been that way without her. I’m so happy to know her, I feel so lucky. As for encapsulation, I didn’t really know what to expect but was so impressed with how fast I got my pills and tincture and with how much care and love she put into it all. it was not until after the birth when I realized I could have really benefited from having her as my doula. lucky for me, my mom is a retired midwife and was present for the earth side arrival of my little girl. my point is… if you’re able to have both, do both. nova is that wonderful.

I found Nova’s reviews on Unilocal and gave her a call earlier this year interested in her placenta services. She was so friendly that we began talking about where I would be giving birth and it came up that I had recently had to switch from a birthing center and was looking for a good doctor due to possible complications which would require me to have a hospital birth. Not only did she refer me to an amazing doctor in Encinitas, which I loved, but on the day I gave birth she was at the hospital within an hour to pick up the placenta and returned the capsules the next day before my doctor had even come to check on me!
I also want to brag about the fact that along with my placenta encapsulations I got peanut butter cups from Trader Joe’s in my bag. There I was in the hospital at 7 am happily chowing down. I had hated chocolate my entire pregnancy and upon giving birth there was something that just screamed, «GIVE ME CHOCOLATE!»
So, after eating all the chocolate, I dutifully took my placenta encapsulations daily according to the instructions. WOW! I had so much energy and I was so happy. I was running around cleaning, cooking up a storm, walking my dog and pushing my stroller 2.5 miles a day loving being alive and ecstatic about the little one. Only one little bummer, no pun intended, perhaps I should have gotten just a wee bit more rest so things could have healed down there faster.

After researching placenta encapsulation I immediately knew it was something I wanted to do. I spoke with Nova the same day I contacted her inquiring about her services.
