Established in 2014.

White Rabbit Day Spa sprouted from the creative mind of a local San Diego esthetician and beauty educator, Kristina Kennett. Working as an esthetician since 2006, she became bored with the traditional day spa atmosphere and knew she could come up with something that offered high quality spa services with a more unique experience. In February 2014 she left the day spa she had been working at and opened up White Rabbit Day Spa. The concept of White Rabbit Day Spa is falling down the rabbit hole into wonderland. The tall grass-​lined ceiling and the upside down table hanging from the ceiling pays tribute to the popular children’s novel Alice in Wonderland. Candlelit teacups and rocking horseflies hovering over a flower bed create a magical and serene environment. This suite style day spa offers an amazing spa experience that will make you want to fall down the rabbit hole again and again!

San Diego native Kristina Kennett is just as passionate about her work today as she was when she started almost a decade ago. She graduated from Je Boutique College of Beauty in 2006 and worked as a top esthetician at some of San Diego’s top day spas. She won a Silver Medal for «Best Esthetician» in the Reader’s Choice Awards 2012. Kristina is a California Licensed Esthetician and Certified Massage Therapist that believes in a holistic approach to having great skin! Specializing in ingredient knowledge, effective treatments and client education, she is the perfect esthetician for someone looking for answers and unbiased product recommendations. No matter what your skin concern is, Kristina can get you on the right path to healthier, more radiant skin with her results-​oriented professional treatments and personalized product recommendations.

Visiting her beautiful «Alice in Wonderland”-themed spa is a treat in itself.
She uses therapeutic aromatherapy in her sessions that boosts immune system and creates one-​of-​kind experience.

I was referred to Kristina from a friend and I’m so glad she did. She great at what she does. I got the acne facial with the microderm and it was totally worth it. The extractions were the hardest part, but she’s gentle on your skin and knows her stuff when it comes to skin care. What I love most about her services is that she doesn’t try to push products on you. She’ll recommend products from other places or even give you samples to try in case it doesn’t work for your skin.
My face was as smooth as a baby’s butt by the time she was done. 3 days later, skin is completely clear of blemishes and I’m loving it. I’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend her if you’re looking for a good facial in SD.

Kristina is my GO TO for anything skin/​beauty related. I know when I’m not an expert at something and I like to think I’m really good at figuring out who is. Kristina is a true professional in the esthetics field and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to health and well-​being. I have been dragging my feet on posting a review because she’s already SO busy and I want her to always be available when I need her, but she’s too good to keep her to myself. I’ve had my share of skin concerns over the years especially during pregnancy, and I also have a very tense upper back/​shoulders from working at a computer all day every day. Her massage hands are amazing. Her skill with facials is unparalleled. She takes her time, figures out what the issues are at that moment, and does her thing. My skin has done a 180 since I started seeing Kristina and my confidence has boosted along with improved skin. I’ve also had her wax me (hey, I’m Indian… obviously I need a wax every now and again) — and somehow the wax she uses plus her technique is super long lasting and leaves 0 irritation behind.
In addition to her cozy spa room, her amazing skill, and fair pricing, Kristina is just a gem of a person. I am proud to be her client and wholeheartedly give her 5 stars and would give her 10 if I could!

I just redeemed a groupon for a 30 min express facial and wasn’t expecting much but she really made me feel like I got a full facial. I’m pretty sure she went past the 30 minutes, too. I got microdermabrasion, abstractions, and she still managed to get a massage in. My face feels clean and wonderful, like it should. Great experience here!

Kristina was so helpful with scheduling, and was very thorough in correspondence when setting up the appointment.

Heavenly. Just heavenly. I had purchased a Groupon for a 30 minute facial + 30 minute massage, and both were equally amazing. Kristina is very professional. We started on time, which tends to be unusual for other spas I have visited. She made everything very easy because she explained the process of what she was going to do, and made sure I was okay with the plan. Her room is very cute– spurring from the «White Rabbit» theme, the room has faux trees along the wall, which I thought was really creative. Kristina has great hands, so the massage was super relaxing, and the facial left my skin feeling refreshed! She even applied some sort of mask on my lips that kept them feeling rejuvenated and moisturized for a few hours after (and for a Chapstick addict, it was so coll to not have to apply it for a while)! After the appointment, I looked at her website and noticed that her pricing was actually better than I had expected! Compared to the more commercial places like Massage Envy, her prices were better!
Being in North Park, the parking is a little strange if it’s your first time visiting, but there is a lot just around the corner from the salon, as well as street parking. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here, and I have already started recommending my friends and family to try it out, too! :)

This review is late coming… I had recently relocated from NorCal and left my amazing med spa behind me and my skin was a train wreck. I went to 3 «Med spas» all over SD and was so disheartened by the facials… they were more for relaxation than actually treatment. I was at my wits ends when I found White Rabbit… through a referral. I called Kristina and explained my issues and she immediately put me at ease and on her books for an appointment the following week, she even had a suggestion for a few things to do in the mean time. At my appointment I was so please to see how knowledgeable she was. The facial was awesome, massage was bliss and I left with some new products from a line I hadn’t used before. fast forward 2 weeks and I same 75% improvement, 3 months it’s a 360° turn around. I can’t thank u enough Kristina. I’m a client for life :)

This review is long overdue. I wrote this over a month ago and forgot to hit post. =D
I love Kristina!!! I met her at Sephora when I was desperately looking for a new skin care line. For some reason, I started breaking out when I switched some products to philosophy (at least that was my initial thought). I never had acne problems, even when I was in high school so I was totally freaked out! Luckily for me that day (08⁄01), Kristina was at the store. We discussed my problems/​concerns and she recommended products/​brand that I’ve never used before. AND she gave me her contact number in case I have follow-​up questions. I did send her messages asking her questions about my skin issues and she was always responsive.
I then found out that she has her own spa so I made an appointment with her and have seen her twice. She’s awesome and makes me feel that she really cares. We are still trying to figure out why I’m breaking out and I always send her pictures of my skin after a facial. I keep her posted on my «skin status». Unfortunately, it seems like it’s going to take a little longer for us to figure out how to combat my skin problems. Nonetheless, Kristina is helping me and really trying to figure out how we can get my skin back to normal. She’s the best! :)

I have dealt with acne since I was thirteen doing countless facials, seeing too many unhelpful dermatologists, taking antibiotics, slathering way too many topicals on my face, and the next step was to be put on accutane, which was NOT happening. Getting recommended to Kristina was meant to be. Definitely a life-​changer. She has so much knowledge about acne and everything she has advised me so far has been extremely beneficial. My skin hasn’t looked this good in a long long time and I feel like it’s on the right track to being acne-​free. I’m SO lucky to have found her!
Not only are the facials the best thing in the world, the atmosphere is just as awesome!!! The Alice in Wonderland theme is beautiful and really makes me feel like I’m in a whole other world. I always come out relaxed and with more information than the last appointment. Kristina also makes herself available through texts if I have any questions or want to send her pictures of products to make sure ingredients are okay. She has holistic view on skin and makes sure you are not only treating your skin correctly externally, but making sure your body is it’s best internally as well! She also has wonderful discounts!!!
Unfortunately I’m leaving up north for school, but I will definitely be making appointments for when I’m home in San Diego and possibly making some extra trips down just for facials!
If you want to put your skin in the best hands, GO SEE KRISTINA RIGHT NOW!

I followed Kristina from her old spa. Normally, I feel guilty about not being loyal to one specific spot, but my skin (and I) would feel terrible if anyone else touched it. After over three years, my face has never looked better. Even with hormone changes due to medications, and some medical issues, Kristina modifies the regimen based on what is going on. And my skin never suffers.
The complete experience is amazing. From the massage to the extractions, it’s so comfortable and relaxing. Kristina is not only extremely knowledgeable of the products she uses and sells, she also will tell you about other products to try. And give samples of everything. I like to use all natural cosmetics, and Kristina turned me onto brands like Tarte and 100% Pure.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Kristina is fantastic! You won’t find anyone who is more dedicated and passionate about their job, and she has the upmost joy in bringing out the beauty in everyone. She understands each person’s unique complexion: My brows are amazing, perfectly trimmed in accordance with my specific hair growth, and my skin is glowing because she recommended products that won’t make my face oily and will hydrate my skin. She has a lot of great knowledge to share to keep you informed about how to care for your skin.
I’ve followed her around the past 3 salons she’s resided in, and I’m happy to see her settled in a place of her own that she has creatively designed. The room is whimsical– inspired by an Alice and Wonderland theme– which draws you in to a place of serenity; it is calm and relaxing, a perfect setting.
