Kayleigh was ready and easy to talk to/​made me feel comfortable. I had not gotten a wax/​sugar etc. for a LONG time because I am so anxious about the pain. She used two products that really made it NOT hurt: bees wax and baby powder (a lot of it) I think she said, and I think using such a heavy coat of powder helped.
I found her on a Groupon and she was close to my area and the price was right, I’m glad I did it. I will be back because was painless and easy.
Also, on this particular side street the parking was extremely easy to find which is rare for North Park. You know how I hate that.

I randomly bought a groupon for Le Wax and scheduled my first appointment almost a year ago, and I’ve been going to Kayleigh ever since. I don’t think I will ever go to anyone else, I’ve never had a problem and she makes getting your vag waxed quick and super comfortable. ¹¹⁄₁₀ for you girl :)

Found this salon through Groupon and loved it! Kayleigh is fantastic, fastest and least painful Brazilian I’ve ever gotten. Will definitely be going back.

Went here from a Groupon and now I go regularly. Great deals a d great service. Kayleigh even gave me tips to keep ingrowns away with the scrubby gloves. Couldn’t be happier with it.
Tip: go early to get a parking spot. Sometimes its hard to find a spot.

I bought a groupon hoping I’d work up the courage to actually go. So, it was my first time, and I was absolutely ANXIOUS and TERRIFIED for my Brazilian! Kayleigh was so relaxed and personable, she calmed my nerves immediately. It hurts when your pubes are ripped out by the root (duh), but this experience was a million times better than I imagined it would be. No awkwardness with my esthetician, and the painful parts were really fast. Thanks, I’ll definitely be back!

Kayleigh is amazing! This was my first wax and I was really nervous because I use a wheelchair and have mobility issues. However, Kayleigh and the rest of the staff were not phased at all. They were really attentive to my needs and were very accommodating. Kayleigh made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole experience and always told me what she was about to do so I wouldn’t be surprised. Thank you for the pleasant experience, Kayleigh. I’ll be back for sure. Wish I could give an extra star for Godzilla ;)

Came here today after going to the European wax center for over 6 months for my Brazilian. I’m not new to Brazilian waxes and I’m a hairdresser so I went to school for all of this, so being sanitary is a huge thing for me. Hands down the most painless wax I’ve ever hand. Kayleigh was super sweet, and got the job done fast! Never looking for any other place to get waxed. I’m totally sold!

I’ve moved out of San Diego but every time I take a mini vacay to come back, I make sure to set up an appointment with Sarah!
She makes sure I’m in and out within 15 minutes AND she does an amazing job; no missed spots, ingrowns are removed. I’m taken care of here and I’m sure you will be too!

This was my second Brazilian here. I wanted to like it, but I just can’t.
1) I saw Laurice this time. I’ve been getting Brazilians for 5 years, and I’ve never had an aesthetician pull so slowly or have to go over the same spots so many times. Let’s face it, getting a Brazilian is no fun, but to have someone do it so slowly take twice as many passes as I can remember having before really messed up my day. Granted, in pregnant now, and I’ll allow that my skin might be more sensitive than before, but yikes! Also, I keep a little triangle, and she didn’t offer me a trim. I’m used to always being offered a trim.
2) For a business who caters primarily to women, for them to have no hook or little table in the restroom to put your purse down while you do your business seems ridiculously thoughtless.
3) Those little baby wipes they offer you after your wax? Nice, but where’s the trash can to throw them away when you’re done? Again, this business is lacking attention to significant details, in my opinion.
A separate word of advice, ladies: if you’re gonna keep getting brazilians while you’re pregnant, stay on top of it! You KNOW it’s less miserable if you do it every 4 – 5 weeks than if you let it go too long

Kayleigh is great. Her helpful hints and tricks during my skin treatment were my favorite part. I ended up taking home the skin repair product she recommended & pre booked my next visit. If you want to have an honest, fun & real down to earth woman be your esthetician. Book with Kayleigh!

Time for an updated review! As you can see, I have been coming here since 2011. That doesn’t happen by accident. The women here are all lovely and professional.
The online scheduling is easy and quick and even though I am always early, they are ready and waiting for me. This is crucial to me since most of the time I have other things planned. Like today, I had a nap planned and I was outta there quick and lounging on my chaise in no time!
My best tip is to make sure you get into the area a bit early because as we all know, parking in North Park can be a tad difficult. But, if you book your appointment in the morning and you can usually park right on Ray St.

Kayleigh has been doing my brows for the last few months, and I could not be happier! I’m very specific regarding the way I want them to look (I have thick brows and like to keep to their natural shape). She actually listened to me and made sure we were on the same page. She works quickly, but never rushes. Each pull or pluck is deliberate, methodical, and I feel virtually nothing.
Everyone is incrediably nice and the shop is CLEAN, cute & welcoming.
Street parking in North Park can sometimes be a pain later in the day, but there are plenty of open lots within a block or two walk. One in particular is one street over on Grim, next to Hess Brewing.

This place is amazing. Always feel welcomed and get offered a mimosa or champagne when I first sit down. The girls who work there are all funny and friendly. You can book online which is way convenient. You get a little discount for prebooking appointments after you finish with your wax or whatever you do too which is super nice. Laurice is my special waxer friend and she is just the best. She takes the awkwardness of a Brazillian and just makes you feel totally at ease. She doesn’t make it so serious and can make you laugh to ease the tension and take your mind off the discomfort. She is so great! I’ve only been there a couple times but she makes you feel like an old friend. And my wax job is beautiful, she is thorough and quick. She even tweezes my little strays. Laurice is rad.
And keep your appointment or cancel in advance. Le Wax states their cancellation policy on everything they send you from the appointment confirmation after you book online to the deal fine print if you purchase one to the reminder you get the day before, they reserve the right to make up for that lost $ and either charge a fee or redeem your groupon/​yelp deal if you bail w/​o notice. It’s not fair to small business to book up their time and then not honor your appointment by cancelling last minute (or in some cases 10 minutes after your allotted time) and then come on here and blast them when you didn’t get your way, especially when you were given the information and you chose to ignore it. I resent that because I saw that happen today and the person said she was going to write a bad review when it was clearly on her.
Anyways, rant over, this place kicks ass and everyone should get their coochie waxed here!

Owww! I get regular Brazilian waxes. I Have been waxed many times but this was a difficult experience. The waxing itself was not too bad, but it has been a week now and my skin is still extremely irritated and raw! If I got post a picture I would be that is over exposure! Never have I had an esthetician wax over the same exact spot 3 times. I believe this is why my skin is so irritated. I really wanted to like this place because it is so close to Home and love the décor and ambiance. The esthetician seemed like she knew what she was doing, but I have never had anybody go over the same spot fully 3 times. She was new and when I asked how long this place has been opened she didn’t know. I also may be irritated because of the wax they use because normally the places I go to use hard wax.

Came in to get a Brazilian wax for the first time at this place. I had previously only gotten a wax once somewhere else. Bought a group-​on deal for $ 22 but still tipped the lady who helped me today, Laurice. The shop’s interior is so cute! I was helped right away and was in an out of there in under 30 minutes as expected.
Man did I forget how much brazilians hurt… but beauty is pain right? (Probably more so because my hair grows thick).
Laurice was super nice and made me feel right at home! DEFINITELY coming back and having her do my wax again! She’s awesome.
Overall this place exceeded my expectations and I will be back again soon!
