I do not know if this cafeteria has an official name. It just opened to the public yesterday(11÷3÷2008). Previously it had been operated by another vendor and was exclusive to Fair Isaac employees, the company that occupies the office building. I am calling it the Café for now. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 1:30 pm on weekdays only. One improvement I am already fond of is the addition of large menus affixed to a wall behind the counter. They are very functional and do their job. There is a breakfast menu, a sandwich menu and a hot off the grill menu. The Café offers simple, affordable American cafeteria food. In addition to breakfast, sandwiches and grilled items, they have a few daily special items. The opening day special plate was spaghetti, bread and a very small salad for $ 5.50. Another improvement is this new vendor uses actual hamburger buns for the hamburgers. I am so happy about that. The salad and soup bar was maintained in the transfer. The dining area is quite large, so I don’t think you’ll ever encounter the problem of not being able to find a table. There is also outdoor seating available. Everything is served in to-go boxes, even if you say you’re staying in the café to eat. This place only accepts cash. I think it will do fine as a convenient place to grab a quick bite to eat for the handful of offices that are within walking distance.
