History

Established in 2012.

Built on a business model of «clean, bright, and safe,» Wash N Go follows the previous three with a contemporary remodel, and attention to detail and amenities. Wash N go provides a space where customers can entertain themselves or catch up on work by providing free WiFi. Wash and Go goes an extra mile in convenience and offers free soap, a children’s play area, fluff and fold drop-​off and pick-​up service, and a hybrid self service, which allows customers to run errands while the laundry store attendants transfer clothes and linens from wash to dry.

We have been in business for a little over a year. What motivated us to start is that we are looking for a business that impacted and allowed us to give back the community. We want to make a difference on a day to day basis in someone’s life. We treat every customer like they are part of our family.

That is our spot when it is laundry time. They have soap for you and you can get your laundry done pretty fast. Also they keep the place super clean.

Updating my status, gave it a second chance was clean, this time I was able to use the smaller washers and amazingly found parking. Pretty ample facility and reasonable cost for washer. The dryers did take longer to dry and $ 1 will do if you have towels. This place over all is good the only downfall is PARKING. If you are lucky your will get a spot. When I tried going back for the third time I left because of PARKING and went elsewhere.

Super clean laundry mat with helpful attendants. If you join their loyalty club you get a 20% bonus on the card. The machines accept Apple Pay, credit cards, loyalty card and cash.

I came in here with my 2 year old nephew, and to my surprise they offered coloring books and colors for him to play with as well as a designated table for kids his age it was amazing. The setting of the laundry was very efficient, the big fans are great. I look forward to coming here more often with my card!
Biggest pro: The machines take debit/​credit cards, so if your short on quarters or too lazy to go to the bank to pull out cash and get change this is the place for you!
— Also if you go and are going to Subway, you can buy a cup of theirs and they allow you to refill while your at the laundry matt. At least thats what an employee at subway told me the other time i went.
Con: The parking is very small

Love this laundry mat! Best I’ve ever found. Incredibly clean, organized, and actually affordable. Best thing by far is that they take cards/​apple pay. No more annoying quarters! Customer service is always great too. I’m a regular and will keep on coming back.

After seeing all the nice reviews for this place, I thought I would check it out and see for myself. Being new to San Diego, I wanted this to be a great first time laundromat experience. Yes, the parking lot is small but it seems people are always leaving. The laundromat is clean, classy and has free wi-​fi. I give it 4 stars for that. 3 stars are for the fact that they only have 4 washers that cost $ 1.75 and all the other washers are $ 3.25 and up. Being in LA for 5 years I was used to paying $ 1.50 for laundry, so I was surprised to see that it was so expensive to wash. I guess you could combine 2 loads in those machines, but I wash my clothes on different water temps. It would be nice to see a whole row of washers for $ 1.75 for those who don’t prefer to use the commercial washers. Dryers were great, 50 cents on high to dry your clothes for 16 minutes. This is key information that I would think Unilocal readers want to know.
I will shop around to see what the price is for other places, but that will be key as to where I go regularly.

This laundry mat is the best laundry mat I have ever been to in my entire life. Its spacious and the music is great! Staff is friendly and keeps the place super clean. Plus there are great food places all around the area if you get hungry. Highly recommend.
Downfall — there is limited parking, try going hours/​days that you think people don’t go all the time.

My first time here, & I’m pretty impressed. All the other landromats I’ve ever walked by always seemed so seedy, claustrophobic & depressing. But this place is super clean, spacious & cozy. They have different sized washers to accomodate the size of your laundry load, free wifi & a small kiddy area too. Even though I don’t live nearby, I’ll definitely be doing my laundry here =)

I was very satisified with this spacious location. They provide soap to use an if you bring in a few quarters they will give you softener as well 50 a cup or for some sheets
On top of that the machines accept cards. Very convienent. Great experience ill deff come back.

I’ve never used another laundry mat so I don’t have a lot to compare it to… but I like it!
It is always clean and I’ve never had to wait for a washer or dryer. Best thing is the machines take credit cards! Yay for not having to dig out quarters from random places.
The location is good and I always eat at Rays Mexican restaurant or the subway that are right next door while my clothes dry.
Only down side is parking since the lot is small and sometimes there are sketchy people but that hasn’t stopped me from going.

Had an incredible experience so far… über clean and cool! Used my card to wash and dry. Only spent 8 bucks for bedding towels and my normal weekly laundry! Marie is a doll she told me about other locations near me and their folding services… heaven sent! Will try their fluff n fold service next for a 5th Star!

This is my new go-​to laundry mat. Super clean, as there is always a «laundry specialist» on site. Even at 10pm! They are super friendly here as well. I ran out of dryer sheets and Jose the attendant on duty gave me 3 free dryer sheets on the house. I have been to many many laundry mats in the past and this one by far has been the best! I do wish it was cheaper like when I was a kid. It was only $ 1.00 for the cheapest wash and the most «expensive» was $ 3.00. Sigh. Well, I’m glad my washer broke tonight (even if I had to spend money) I found a great laundry mat in San Diego. :)

Okay, okay, Wash N Go definitely redeemed themselves and I’m glad gave them another shot. I tried them twice before updating, because you know… research.
So when I went back, I’d mentioned to Alex the owner that I tried them again. He was quick to take care of me.
I went back a few weeks later and from start to finish, Marie took my things, listened to my special requests regarding my garments and made sure to take care of everything herself. She even had my laundry ready earlier than expected.
So, to say the least, they’re going to keep me around.
They have different options to choose from too. You can have them do the normal fluff and fold service. You can wash and they fold, they can wash and you fold, and of course they have a standard laundromat.
I also love the fact that I know proceeds from my business will be fueled back into the community. I don’t think there is enough of that and upon finding this out, it made me feel gratified.

Once again I’m here at my favorite laundromat doin my thang because it’s the only clean laundromat in town.
Clean… plenty of machines… free WiFi… free soap. friendly associates… and children freindly.
Paments. loyalty card… cash… debit and credit.

Holy smokes. This place is as good as everyone says. Super friendly staff, very clean, lots of available machines of all sizes.
Free Wi-​Fi that works. Comfortable atmosphere. Seating with a high counter for working on your laptop.
They take cash, coin, credit card. If you register with their loyalty card, you get bonuses; you can recharge online. And get this: each machine takes Apple Pay. APPLE PAY, PEOPLE!

Clean, and tidy. The staff is very friendly as well as their generosity of having me do laundry after the permitted hours due to my recent move in to the neighborhood.

Extremely clean and well-​kept, always a pleasure to do laundry here. *Working* machines of various sizes (including some humongous ones that would be perfect for bedding! Or if you wanted to throw someone in there… kidding.) Prices are reasonable and similar to other laundromats. Free WiFi, lots of room for folding AND the machines accept cards!
The only small downside is the limited parking, but we’ve been lucky and parked right in front each time.
We fondly refer to this laundromat as «Shiny-​mat.»
