At Walton Law, APC, we only represent people — not insurance companies — and take pride in our reputation for obtaining full and fair compensation for our clients while providing personalized client service. We are very selective in the cases we take, and intentionally maintain a low-volume practice to ensure each client we represent gets the full attention they deserve — regardless of the size of their case. As a client of our firm, you will be treated like a person and not just a case number. We do our absolute best to keep you updated on the status of your case, return calls and emails within a reasonable time and provide you with access to your attorney throughout your entire case.
History
Established in 2011.
Christopher C. Walton is the principal and founder of Walton Law, APC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of nursing home neglect and personal injury. Early in his career, Chris spent several years defending insurance companies, but now dedicates his practice exclusively to helping victims of elder abuse and those who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to the negligent or intentional acts of others.
Since opening the doors to his own firm, Chris has earned numerous awards for his advocacy on behalf of his clients and remains very active in the community. In 2011 and 2012, he was elected by his peers to serve back-to-back terms as Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section of SDCBA. In 2012, he helped launch Access to Law Initiative (ALI), a project that aims to bring affordable and pro bono assistance to members of our community who otherwise may not have access to legal services, where he is a Chair member. ALI has become the model for similar programs across the country.
