Their breakfast sandwich is good and satisfying. I had their meat, egg and cheese breakfast. I would go back again!

As a student of UCSD, I like the location. It’s a great place to get a sandwich!

I go to school at UCSD, and this is my go-to sub shop in the area! Good prices and nice workers, and their sandwiches are quality! Tastes like a legitimate deli store!

Ate here while staying at the Marriott across the street. The price was wonderful for the portion. I had the California Wrap: GENEROUS avocado portion, my wrap was as big as a giant burrito. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely try to stop by again.

This place has good subs, great prices, and it’s not quite that busy.

I love this place! It’s a perfect cheap and easy lunch spot when you don’t have a lot of time to wait in line for your food because the service is always really fast! The customer service is awesome and the owners are super friendly and helpful! I love their subs because they always pack a lot of yummy veggies and meat in them, but right now my favorite is the Santa Fe salad with chipotle dressing which I highly recommend

I’m pretty shocked that this place is still open. Once you get past the fact that that the place is pretty dirty in general. The owners are extremely rude and don’t even look at you. They grunt at you. The avocado they had out was black which was alarming. The only person who was nice there was the girl who wasn’t related to the owners.

Since moving office buildings I’ve had to start finding new lunch time eateries for workweeks and this hole-in-the-wall sub shop has been my go-to for the last month. The food is ok, a step above Subway but still lacking that super fresh produce and quality cuts of meat. but for $ 7.29/+tax you can get a 6″ sub, bag of chips or a cookie and a drink. The owners are usually working the counter and could use better customer service skills, but they’re fast and consistent which is all I ask for in a lunchtime spot.

Horrible! The owner has no business sense or customer service whatsoever. He’s there ALL the time and he never greets you with a smile. In fact, he hardly greets you at all. I work across the street and used to go there regularly until my last visit. UTC Subs has a frequent buyer program and after your 9th sandwich you get one 6″ free. There are no clear rules for the program and some of the staff would give you 2 stamps if you purchased a 12″ sub but the owner only gives 1 stamp regardless of the size. Other employees had always rang me up & give me 2 stamps. My last visit the owner rang me up but only gave me 1 stamp. I asked why only one stamp when I have always gotten 2 stamps in the past. He replies to me, «I’m the owner, my rules». I explained to him that I had always received 2 stamps so I was confused. I wasn’t trying to change his mind as I could tell that was pointless, just making a point. As I was walking out he shouted to the other employee who was in the eating area(he was behind the register) who usually gave me 2 stamps in his foreign language, which I thought was uncomfortable since he had to speak loudly across the restaurant. Why would he confront her in front of the customers? I have since stopped going there and have told my friends and coworkers about his lack of professionalism. Very disappointing b/c I actually like their subs.
