History

Established in 2012.

UrPhoneGuy… sounds like you work with mobile phones? Well we did for 12 years. UrPhoneGuy was started by Josh Millar and Isaiah King who met at Cingular Wireless before Smartphones were popular and the word texting even existed. Josh and Isaiah spent the next 12 years bringing the future of Mobile to consumers as they went through College and worked with every carrier from Verizon Wireless to AT&T where they quickly became experts in the field.

With over 91% of Adults using a Smartphone the market had become mobile saturated and they asked themselves what was the future of mobile? Mobile Applications proved to be the answer.

Josh Millar

Oregon native Josh Millar moved to San Diego to pursue his degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications where he earned his degree at San Diego State University and graduated in 2009. Josh had the unique privilege of working with the Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Honda as a member of his graduating class to help build a complete Integrated Marketing and Communications Plan for the Honda Crosstour which was at the time a concept car. The experience Josh drew from this campaign fueled him to want to build similar marketing plans for businesses both large and small. With over 10 years of mobile experience combined with his background in Marketing, Josh partnered with his longtime friend Isaiah to start UrPhoneGuy to fill the need for a knowledgeable Mobile Application Company.
