At Tutoring Club, our goal is to bring each student to the desired academic level as quickly as possible. In order to help your child succeed, he or she will receive individualized instruction from our staff of professional tutors. We work to reduce stress and build confidence by creating an individualized program for each student, starting at a level that he or she can handle and then progressing through the grade levels as rapidly as the student’s learning pace allows.

We are committed to helping students succeed in their education. We specialize in reading, math (from the basics through calculus), writing, study skills, and SAT/​ACT preparation. We have an advanced classroom support program that will help your child be successful in virtually any K-​12 class, including AP and Honors classes.

History

Established in 2005.

Established in 2005 Tutoring Club is a nationwide franchise. The Tutoring Club of Poway is owned and operated independently and has been in business since early 2005.

Leaving corporate America behind them, Steve and Anh Eggers opened their first Tutoring Club center in San Marcos in 2004. They have been involved with education for over two decades and have a strong desire to «give back to the community.» Long-​time residents of Rancho Bernardo, they are proud to have their daughter advance through the Poway Unified School District.

Rachel Camarero, a Master’s College graduate and active community member, is the director of their second center; Tutoring Club of Poway.
