History

Established in 2002.

Will Phillips started Trusted Valuations in 2002 after seeing a need for dependable and defensible residential real estate appraisal reports in a rapidly changing industry. He came into this industry with a background in finance and financial planning. This experience, in conjunction with his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in Finance and English Composition, has given him a strong and stable stance in providing this quality service.

Since 2002 Trusted Valuations has been serving the residential real estate appraisal needs of San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties, with a focus on providing a higher level of service and reporting. Will has actively pursued continuing education in a variety of appraisal areas, from the intricacies of accurate appraisal reporting to litigation support. In addition, he has joined with valuable industry partners, such as The Appraisal Institute, to contribute and gain from a collective wisdom. Will Phillips is also VA Approved.

Will feels that continual education is essential in his quest to provide the highest level of service and reporting. As a result, his resume of relevant courses and designations is ever-​growing. Will is currently pursuing both the SRA Designation and the Professional Development Program for Litigation from the Appraisal Institute. These are coveted designations recognized not only within the appraisal world, but by outside end-​users of residential real estate appraisals.

After 12 years of experience, Will has seen the market demands and shifts through the eyes of a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and is eager to share these insights into the industry. He will explore industry news and events, appraisal information, market conditions and tips and advice for everyone who uses and relies on residential real estate appraisals.
