History

Established in 1981.

I’ve been cleaning windows since I was 11 years old. When the other boys were mowing lawns or delivering newspapers I found another way to make some spare cash. I put myself through college cleaning windows and after college I bought a friend’s business in the early 1980’s. Within a few short years, I owned the largest company of it’s kind and called it Skyriders. That company is still in operation to this day. I sold off my interests to my partner in 1989 and went off on my own. Today, I am by far, the most experienced window cleaning business owner in all of San Diego County. I keep a tight reign on my quality control and have an impeccable reputation for high quality work at an affordable price. Some of my major clients are Lexus of Escondido and Carlsbad, Taylor Made Golf, the City of Escondido as well as over 300 commercial properties and over 500 residential customers. 42 years ago, I picked up a squeegee and I’ve yet to put it down. I LOVE the business of cleaning windows!

Business Owner

I am a lifelong San Diego resident. Born at Grossmont hospital in 1961, raised in Clairemont and Escondido. Went to University High School and Orange Glen. Graduated in 1979 and then attended San Diego State University with a European Studies major and a minor in Spanish. I raised my family and provided well for them with the business of window cleaning and power washing. My kids are all grown and married with families of their own. I continue to operate and manage Tommy’s Window Cleaning and Power Washing and will do so long into the future. It’s a business that I love and am very grateful for.
