Mikel at Tiny Frog is extremely responsive and intelligent! He met with me in person to discuss what I was looking to do on my business website and not only listened to me but gave me tips as to how to draw more traffic to my business and insight as to what clients are looking for when on my website. I took his advice and made my list of changes. He then put me in contact with one of his employees, Lalena, and she was too was just as wonderful! These guys are great! They are more expensive than the garden variety web designer and cheaper than most quality custom websites. Just in the sweet spot if you need more than a brochure page.
They start out with a planning meeting with 4 team members, including a strategist, a designer, a techie, and an optimizer. The strategist really listened and designed a map for our site that made it really easy to create the content.

I met Mikel (the owner of TinyFrog) by chance at a networking event roughly a year ago. I was a bit nervous about how the interaction might go, but to my surprise it was immediately obvious that Mikel and I would get along as both of us seemed to have the same principles and outlook not only the web design industry, but in life and in business in general. We both feel like «there is enough business out there for everybody». Mikel doesn’t believe in «competition» and neither do I.
We decided to grab lunch and get to know each other. Without hesitation we both shared the best knowledge we had with each other to help each other grow our businesses. Fast forward to today and we have become good friends.
If you are looking to work with a web design company who is honest, fair, responsive and actually knows what they are doing, then give TinyFrog a call. I know that they will treat you right, because I know what MY business is like and we are very similar to each other. I recently switched my web hosting, maintenance and support to Mikel and his team at TinyFrog Technologies. From the moment our business relationship started, I received professional and timely responses to my questions. Throughout my transition to TinyFrog, Chris and Mikel provided status updates so I never felt like I was in the dark.
I recommend working with TinyFrog for people who want to be treated with respect, listened to, and supported in ways that will truly protect one of your business’ most important assets, your website.

I had a few lingering issues, with which they were more than helpful to resolve. Great support. Great customer service. ALL LITTLE ISSUES DEALT WITH RIGHT AWAY, without complaint.

There are a lot of web developers out there, many with great talent to create websites based on exactly the way you want your website to look. You write the content, give them a specific look you want, and they create it.
We did this with our first two websites, and had with mediocre results. We had low traffic to our site and no engagement.
I was in talks with a third developer. She wanted to know, yet again, how I wanted my site to look. I told her this: «I need someone to tell me what my site should look like. I’m not in the website development business, you are. Frankly, I don’t care if there are purple dancing monkeys on my website… if it makes people respond, then that’s what I want.» Her reply? She can’t do the design to make visitors respond, and it’ll cost me thousands of dollars to get a company to help me with the research and design.
After doing some homework, I found Tiny Frog. Their hook for me was that they not only wanted to get people to the sites they create, but they also want them to respond. What a novel concept! So I signed on with them.
At my first meeting with Tiny Frog after signing, there were five representatives in attendance from their company: a web strategist, an SEO specialist, a designer, a project manager, and the CEO. I immediately felt like I was getting my money’s worth and would have a good product. They each had a role: the web strategist sought to understand my clients and what would make them respond, not only from a look-​and-​feel angle but also from a content angle. The designer worked in harmony with the strategist, while at the meeting, to come up with some design ideas that met those concepts. The project manager put details to the project timeline and milestones. And the SEO specialist shared in the strategy by discussing what he will do. And Mikel, the CEO? He was there to keep the vision for the site at the center of the meeting. He participated as needed and yet left his team to be the experts he hired them to be.
The result? I’m very happy. For once, it’s a site I’m proud of. More importantly, I think our clients engage with it much more effectively. We get responses!

I own a business here in San Diego and was wanting to give our web site a major face lift. I contacted Mikel and started the process. He has a team of professionals that are fairly compartmentalized. One person (Lez) is the overseer of the project. I worked closely with Lilly to frame our site page by page. Then I worked with Emmy. She is the design specialist. Each person more than held their own weight, and were a pleasure to work with. Very enjoyable experience.

Earlier this year, I was looking for someone to design and build a Wordpress site that would contain a database application that I was in the process of building. After getting a ridiculous quote from a couple former coworkers, I contacted Tiny Frog. Mikel returned my message promptly (in fact I think he called me that same Sunday night). After he got my requirements, Mikel provided a quick, fair proposal, and his time started the build shortly thereafter.
