Worst service and worst attitude ever… I will never go back to this stores such they made a mistake in my engraving order and it was very obvious that it was their mistake… they offered to do it over for me if I went out to repurchase the cross pens that I had purchased the first time. they showed no remorse in anyway for their mistake. I had to spend a lot of time finding the cross pens once again going to several different stores… they did not care in the least and they charged me once again for the engraving Their work ethic and customer service was less than desirable to say the least.

This place is good if you are looking to get something engraved quickly. It is very pricey as you you have to pay by letter for the engraving.
They need to improve their order forms, could be a lot easier if they had you use a computer instead of a pad and paper transfer. They also have you fill this out on a random shelf of items in the store. Not very convenient.
The turn around is quick.
If they had better pricing and a better order form they could easily jump to 4 – 5 stars.

Not impressed. My first purchase was a lighter, the engraving was very light but I attributed that to the font I chose. Second order was not ready when I came to pick it up – even though I came 2 hours after my scheduled pick up time. The engraving was so light I can barely read it. There was a period missing after the abbreviation for Sept. Under brighter lighting I can see finger prints, smudges and a scratch across the glass. When I called to coordinate returning my flawed frame and picking up a new one I was rushed off the phone. The girls in this shop are really unprofessional – I expect more when spending $ 70 on something like a picture frame.
In the future I will just battle the downtown parking and use Engraving by Jack.

One of the people working there, Miriam provides the worst customer service. Of you ever find yourself here, make sure your order is correct or someone like her will screw up your gift.

This place is more expensive and not as friendly as some of their other branches.
The last time I needed 4 words engraved it cost about $ 10, this time it was $ 16. And they also seemed disappointed that I brought my own plaque to be engraved and still tried to push their merchandise.

Worst customer service ever. They so messed up my engraving. It happens, but what followed next, should never happen.
I showed them the sample I agreed to and explained how the sample looks nothing like the work. Next, pointed to the picture and they said that was not possible, it’s a picture, most likely edited. Then I found the same font on an item INSIDE THE STORE and then was told «okay, well go buy it again and we will fix it for you.» Wait, they missed the point, why must I prove there was a mistake and then I have to run around the world to fix it myself? This is a Christmas gift, a special order that will not arrive again until 3 weeks after the holidays. Instead of an apology, the idiot manager pushed blame away and faulted me for poor communication. When in fact, the engraving was wrong all together. She told me she wasn’t here, she had surgery, blah blah blah. When I showed her what I wanted, she didn’t speak a word, just looked down. I never once spoke loud or out of turn. Genuinely disappointed that they ruined a gift and had no pulse about it. When she said they would replace it after I purchased another one is the first time she even smiled at me. I think she enjoyed knowing I had to accept it as is. I paid nearly $ 60 for someone to ruin my engraving. I wouldn’t even care if they would have been less of a victim. Now also keep in mind, they would not be returning my $ 60. I would have to buy a replacement, which they would later reimburse me for and I would have to give them the product they messed up. I would only have to pay for the first time mess up. All while dealing with the attitudes.
Sad, this place use to be awesome. It pains me to write a poor review but folks I want to warn you to stay with away. Stay far, far away.

I wish I could give zero stars! This place screwed up my engraving and had an «oh, well you can purchas another watch» attitude about it. My wedding is this Saturday and I bought a watch as a wedding gift for my fiancé. I wanted a simple engraving of our wedding date in Roman numerals (XI-​I-​XIV). How do you get one «X» wrong and not the other when they look IDENTICAL?!! The date engarved was VI-​I-​XIV. Now, I have to purchase another watch, get charged shippng costs again, waste time and gas, and have to give my fiancé his watch AFTER our wedding! DO NOT CHANCE IT HERE. Even after staying pretty calm (when I wanted to yell), there was no help or accomodation except for a «Buy another watch and give us this one or you won’t be reimbursed.» There is a bigger picture here people! Geeze, stop being lazy and just get a simple task done right. Not to mention, I provided my number and email so the girl shoud have called to confirm instead of putting whatever she felt. LAZY LAZY LAZY!

I love Things Remembered! They always make gift giving fun, classy, and the engraved gifts I give are always a hit. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, birth, housewarming, a holiday gift, or just because (for a male or female loved one) Things Remembered is always my first stop. I’ve been coming here for well over 10 years and I still love it.

Amazing customer servise I would have given a 5 but they did mess up on the engraving but where vary nice about fixing it

This is the worst customer service I’ve ever gotten from a Things Remembered. I have NEVER experienced such bad service. I understand that these stores may be swamped on the holidays, but you do not have to be rude to your customers. I pre-​ordered a pen engraved with my friend’s name on it, and one of the letters (p) was clearly written over twice and had two curves instead of one. I asked one of the employees if it was supposed to be like that because it didn’t look like it was online. and she showed the manager and they tried to convince me it was fine. The cashier was the only woman that was actually courteous enough to offered me a re-​do. The manager (or the woman that was doing the engraving) said if I wanted it done it would be «an hour and a half». I came back in 40 mins, she looked at me and said «oh I haven’t even started yours yet»…pretty much shooing me away. My intention was just to ask if they could please call me when it was finished because I had somewhere to be. She replied «sure write your number but I doubt I can call you, we’re really busy.» This doesn’t make sense to me, because it takes a couple of seconds to call a person, especially when they are waiting for an order that did not come out correctly. She never called me so I checked an 40 mins later and it was finished. When I looked at the pen the engraved text was 3 times smaller then when I first received it, and I’m thinking the woman purposefully did so because I seemed to annoy her about wanting what I paid for to be done correctly. I would have been okay waiting 1 – 2 hours if the woman acted understandingly instead of being seemingly annoyed by me. Sorry for bothering you to give service to a customer, I just wanted to get what I ordered. I would rather drive 2 and a half hours to get my engraving at Things Remembered in Burbank than to come here again.

Pretty nice place and location is great. Bought a wedding set here and had to come back three times. The staff is nice and you will eventually get helped. I had a key chain incorrectly engraved — «Mr. & Mr.» and when I came back to engrave my server set I had another mishaps. When I picked up my server set a week after, the staff showed me the work they did, which turned out to be great. I dropped off the server with the complete set to keep them together and when I finally took the set home, I received a call that they had given me the wrong set. Supposedly when I dropped off my server, they had engraved my stuff incorrectly… again… and had switched out the set. I could not make it back into the area until 2 weeks later and thank goodness they still had my stuff.
The experience would have been better if the merchandise was checked before it was given back. The only reason I came back was because I had a $ 40 coupon. Not so sure if I want to go back, unless I have a lot of time between a drop off and when i actually need it.

This place has been good to me whenever I’ve needed a last minute gift. As long as you purchase something from their store, they’ll have it engraved very quickly and it comes out great. I’d like to see a greater variety of items sold in the store, but if you aren’t to picky there’s probably something there for you.

I have experienced better customer service from this store before but recently I went in there and the young sales associate who was working didn’t give the best customer service… I don’t really like their men’s selection either… very limited and cheap.

I came in to purchase an engraved picture frame for a friend’s wedding. Engraving was $ 3 a word which seemed reasonable with some upgrade options for $ 3 (Note: i’s $ 18 for up to 5 words or $ 24 for up to 8 words if you bring in something for engraving not purchased there). The lady helping me was very nice and had my frame ready in about 30 minutes. When I came back there was a little nick on the frame near the engraving so they agreed to make another one. I felt bad since the first one would now just be thrown away but it was a gift so I wanted it to be perfect which it was the second time around. The staff both times were pleasant and helpful. My friend and his wife loved the gift (I put in a picture of them from the wedding).
I will definitely be back whenever I need a personalized gift!

We wanted to get a spacial picture frame and have it engraved for my sister in laws graduation. We paid $ 100.00 for the picture frame. They said pick it up in a few hours. We told them don’t rush we will just come back in a few days. A few days passed when we went back they had missspelled her name. So we had to wait for them to engrave a new one. After the 1hour wait they said do you mind finishing it your self beacuse my hands are dirty, I don’t want to mess up your picture frame… I guess customer service is not worth the extra effort.
